Well, Kim Kardashian finally released the first photo of Saint West! I thought he was two months old, but he’s actually three months old. God, this awards season has flown by, I can’t believe we’re a week away from March. There was a lot of gossip and blind-iteming that Kim and Kanye were hiding Saint because he was born with some kind of physical birth defect. But didn’t they wait to reveal photos of North too? I feel like they waited a few months then too.
The reason for the photo reveal? It’s Robert Kardashian Senior’s birthday. Kim wrote: “Today is my dad’s birthday. I know there’s nothing more in the world he would have wanted than to meet his grandchildren. So I wanted to share this pic of Saint with you all.” I also think Kim – who has much better PR instincts than Kanye – realized that baby photos make everything better, and after the month Kanye has had, they needed to change the conversation.
Anyway, I’m glad that we’re finally seeing little Saint. The gossip about why they were “hiding” him had turned rather cruel, IMO. He’s a beautiful little boy, and he does look like North a bit.

They’ve been breaking their necks trying to sell the pictures and I guess as it did with North, it finally sunk in that no one wanted to pay anything for them. OK, so my question is a little off the wall, but in England, the first name Saint John is pronounced Sin-Gin. So is Saint pronounced Sin?

Since they released the first pic of North West when she was nine weeks old on Kris Jenner’s show.I thought they would show Saint’s pic on some show as well.He is adorable.
They probably were waiting for a show or magazine cover, but the kid’s true full name is Saint Damage Control Distraction West. So they put him to work early.
Agreed, they needed him for all of what his dad has been up to lately. It’s sad really that they use their kids for that. I feel really bad for all the Kardashian kids.

Kanye showed the first clear pic of North on Kris Jenner’s show on August 23,2013.Google it there are literally hundreds of articles saying it was the first picture where you could see her face.The first pic even had the Kris Jenner logo in the bottom left corner.Kim posted pic on IG after he showed it on Kris’ show.

It’s pretty egregious to talk about a baby’s skin colour and say his mom wished he was lighter. It’s gross really. Let’s not make snide remarks about a mom being racist against her own child and creating an issue where there was none. First Kim and Kanye knew the baby was a boy while she was pregnant. Also, we don’t know the real color of the baby, the picture might not show that and also w/ mixed children their color changes when they get older. I doubt very seriously Kim was upset about the baby not being lighter, sounds like you you might be more upset w/that racist comment.
I doubt Kim cared about the skin color. She likes Kanye and he’s quite dark.
But they knew the kid was a boy before he was conceived. All the hoopla over her incredibly many problems with fertility and everything else was just a cover for gender selection. That’s why they did in vitro. Cute little Saint is a designer baby. They selected the healthiest male. My bet is that they will use a surrogate if they want a third- that’s why Kim was having every possible pregnancy complication on Google, to lay the groundwork for Saint being the last child she could carry. It really is too much for her body to be trying to lose weight as fast as she wants to do after a pregnancy, and it will be even harder the next time. Besides, she was very uncomfortable and I think had to go off any medications she takes for psoriasis. I hope they don’t inflict themselves on another child, but if they do – I hope Kim doesn’t carry it for her sake and ours (she’s such a whiner).

Thought that too, but Khloe’s show is on a little known cable channel, FYI, and therefore the reveal wouldn’t have been as great as North’s. He’s adorable.

I am Black, but mixed race also and I almost NEVER had my hair out as a kid. Curly hair and knots? Ooooh that child does not need her hair out.

My definition of “natural hair” is hair that isn’t braided, tightly pulled into a bun or ponytail, or slicked down.
I have curly hair, too, and literally had a copper colored afro when I was a toddler. (It was the 70’s and my hair was naturally that way.) My mother wanted me to have long, wavy curls as I got older, though, and she spent lots of time hurting me to try to achieve that. (That was before a lot of the products we have now which help de-tangle the hair.)
I was lucky that she didn’t keep me in tight buns and ponytails like Kim keeps North. Beyonce lets her daughter have natural hair often and it’s beautiful. I just love curls!
Girl, I feel you. The hair police annoy me. When some people talk about ‘letting hair out,’ they really don’t understand that hair like North’s (and it appears very similar to my little niece’s) doesn’t have much weight to it so it doesn’t hang- it’s fine, curly and soft so it’s kind of cloud like and doesn’t hold a shape like it will when it gets heavier as she grows older. The best way to wear the hair is up in pigtails or buns etc.
I would always get annoyed when the hair police came for Zahara Jolie Pitt. Only oddly enough it was the opposite. Brad and Angie left Zahara’s hair out in all it’s glory and there was always some member of the hair police talking about how it was unkempt or dry or not moisturized (as if they could tell from a candid pic taken at 50 paces). Never mind Brad going over their whole hair moisturizing routine with Zahara, dropping Carol’s Daughter. it was nutty why people were so invested in critiquing her hair and their parenting skills.
Of all the reasons these people are judged by others, this has to be the strangest.

I don’t feel comfortable comparing attractiveness of kids. But i have to say i can think of lots of celebrity kids who are extremely attractive. Halle Berrys kids are gorgeous. Amber Rose and Wiz son is one handsome boy. The jolie pitt kids are so pretty. Sandra Bullocks son is adorable. Ryan Phillipe and Reese witherspoon kids are beautiful as is Depp and Paradis.You just don’t see their photos as much.
Kim and Kanye are the sort of celebrities where the kids are part of their brand so we see the kids much more than most celebrity kids. The kids are supercute but the way the kardashians shove their kids ( decked out in designer gear) in our face kind of puts me off and makes me feel sorry for the kids.

Do you mean how his skin seems perfectly uniform in color, with no real darker or lighter areas? I noticed that, too. I think it looks like his adorable little face (such a cute nose!) was softened through a filter, or Photoshop or something. Just to make the photo more soft and babyish. I have a baby picture of my own self that was tinted to make my eyes blue and my cheeks extra pink, and that was almost fifty years ago! We will see more candid shots of him soon, she probably wanted the first released photo to be special.
Anyway, he is so so cute, with his little baby handsies all stretched above his head. He looks so peaceful and happy. Kim and Kanye must be overjoyed!

No, the rumors were coming from skeptics who knew how vain the Kardashian Krew is. So they speculated that he didn’t look “perfect” according to their standards. Hate doesn’t have to have anything to do with it, when someone like Kim lies so much- it’s natural to wonder. I thought that theory was a long shot myself and it was more likely they were waiting for a profitable opportunity. Because of photoshop, of course, we still don’t know if there is any merit to the theory.
No. Not haters, but gossip sources. Blind Gossip had an item not too long and everybody knew it was Kimye’s new baby that they were referring to – having something KIMYE deemed unacceptable – not the masses, and not haters. Honestly, I think they’re right. I do think there is/was something that they felt needed to be fixed before they could show him to the world. I really don’t care and I dont’ think a baby needs to be perfect to be beautiful. I do think there is always a modicum of truth to the gossip and Kimye is that vain to think along those lines. Insiders were providing the gossips with something. We don’t know what and we may never know, but I don’t beleive it was simply made up and I sure don’t beleive the KKlan would say something was wrong with a new baby ini the family – truth or not. A lot of babies are born with minor defects that routine surgery can correct leaving no trace of a prior problem. Cleft lips, wandering eye, etc. happen alot and are surgical corrected with people outside the circle never even being aware. That doesn’t make anybody a hater or cruel. We all know how this family operates, so it wouldn’t surprise anybody if the gossip were true. It’s not like people wanted the baby to have a birth defect just because they dont’ like the Kardashians. It is suspicious that they waited for the photo announcement with this baby.
Nobody cared about seeing Saint before this blind item. He is a second child and everybody knew they would show him soon and often enough. I stay convinced this was one of their plotline, waiting for the right moment which was kim going into labor in the show.

There was no blind item about North. I don’t think the baby needed to be fixed, but I do think THEY thought the baby needed to be fixed. The blind specifically mentioned something about coloring and I do not for one moment believe Kim cares if the baby is dark or light. My guess is there was uneven melatonin and it wouldnt’ surprise me at all if Kim did in fact photoshop this pic to make him appear “evenly” toned. You can stop trying to make it sound like I’m claiming something was wrong with a baby I’ve never seen. My claim is Kimye wasn’t satisfied with a less than anything other than sheer perfection. That’s on them, not me. And I still don’t beleive anybody from that camp would put it out there. They’re too vain. Vain enough to feel it needed “fixing” before introducing him to the world. They waited two months to show off North because the offers kept increasing with the anticipation. Everything is about money with them.

Seeing those sweet babies kim and Kayne have make me sad they really are adorable and so innocent and it just feels like they don’t have parents that are going to offer a strong foundation of love, home, values and priorities.
