Britney Spears’ stalker claims she was just shooting a documentary

Miranda Tozier-Robbins – the woman who snuck onto Britney Spears’ property and peaked into her windows last Thursday – claims it was all for a good reason. She says she’s working on a documentary, and just chose Brit’s home because the address was easily located. Except that she also claims she was doing some “paparazzi work preparation” since she’s considering becoming a paparazzo. Double except that she also claimed on Friday that it was all just a joke from the start, one that “everyone knew about it.”

There’s also something about “camping out in the woods.” But Tozier-Robbins mkes it clear she’s not a stalker. Well maybe, but the title of Craziest Britney Obsessor Who Will Watch Her Undress Through Her Windows is still up for grabs. And those are totally different things.

As Britney Spears continues her Circus tour throughout California this week, Spears’ alleged trespasser Miranda Tozier-Robbins spoke exclusively to E! News about why she snuck onto the pop star’s property and the reason she believes things have been blown out of proportion. Tozier-Robbins, 26, is a former American Idol hopeful who says she has been in Los Angeles for about a month and a half and is actively pursing [sic] an entertainment industry career in numerous fields, one being paparazzi-like documentary filmmaking.

According to Tozier-Robbins, Britney’s house was simply chosen because of its convenient location and perfect timing—she knew Spears would be in L.A. for her tour this week and apparently her address is available online. “The documentary is more or less just, [me] on the way to Britney’s house, going on the bicycle ride, the camping out in the woods,” says Tozier-Robbins. While she confesses to being a fan of Spears, Tozier-Robbins claims that she is in no way a stalker. “There’s no obsession with Britney. Somebody else can go ahead and claim the title of Britney’s stalker, because I sure as heck don’t want it, you know!”

Once on the property, Tozier-Robbins was immediately caught by a Spears security guard and arrested for trespassing. She received a citation and was released. But Tozier-Robbins tells E! that she would do something like this again in the future—minus the trespassing. “I learned my lesson,” she says. “What I was doing was paparazzi work preparation. I’d like to do some paparazzi gigs—it’s a start.”

Unfortunately for Tozier-Robbins, the type of work she claims to want to do—music, movies, TV—is not easily achieved through this kind of start in the biz. Tozier-Robbins appears to be changing her tune about the motivation behind her misadventure. Speaking to Access Hollywood on Friday, she claimed that it was all a joke in the beginning, one that “everyone knew about.” For now, Tozier-Robbins says she’s just awaiting her day in court (her next hearing is June 16) so she can reclaim her confiscated “documentary” footage.

[From E! News]

I love that we’re supposed to buy that this woman trespassed onto a celebrity’s property and claims she didn’t realize it’d get her into trouble. Then in the same breath says she was peeking into Britney’s windows because she’s shooting a documentary, but she’s also doing some sort of pre-paparazzi reconnaissance work (that’ll eventually help her become a singer and actress) that’s all just a big joke anyway. And she is totally not a stalker. And thus not crazy. Rational thought is clearly very much at play here.

The crazy people that try to rationalize their craziness scare me much more than the ones that just freak out at random and no one knows why. When they talk a lot you really realize just how insane their logic is, and just how much they believe it. Miranda Tozier-Robbins can call herself anything she wants; if I were Britney, I’d still make sure she’s legally mandated to stay 150 yards away from me at all times. I’m not Britney, and I still want her to stay 150 yards away from me.

I thought the papo wasn’t supposed to tresspass. I thought there whole deal was that when the shoot the nude pics in the stars backyard they were standing on a public street with a camera with a telephoto lense that captures clear images up to a mile or so away. U know. Perfectly legit stuff. (bit of sarcasim here)

i love how someone tries to explain “oh no, i wasn’t doing such and such” and begin to give details that describe the definition of that world… “i wasn’t stalking… i was just camping out on her front lawn and sneaking my way in.”

so to be concise, you were stalking… :/

he was probably lying like most stalkers are. most of them spy on them and then when somebody asks them y they were following them they just say ohhh it was just for my story or its just for a project im doing. they dont want to admit that they were stalking them like this one in the video he was more than likely lying about wat he was doing that for.
