Donald Trump: Lena Dunham is a ‘B-actor,’ she ‘has no, you know, mojo’

FFN_Storms_Trump_Today_042216_52031463

As many of you have probably already seen from the wall-to-wall cable news coverage, Donald Trump picked up a major delegate haul last night in five primary states. Trump actually won all five states – Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island – and he’s now calling himself the “presumptive nominee” for the Republican nomination. I don’t even think Ted Cruz can stop him at this point in a spoiler capacity. So, because Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee, that means he can start acting like it, right? He can stop Twitter beefing like a high schooler and smack-talking on television? NO!

This week’s controversy started when Lena Dunham attended the Matrix Awards on Monday night. The appearance involved a chat with Andy Cohen, who asked the Hillary Clinton-supporter what she would do if Trump won the election:

However, if Donald Trump wins the election, she plans to move to Canada. “I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will,” Dunham told Cohen. “I know a lovely place in Vancouver and I can get my work done from there.”

[From THR]

So obviously, Trump was asked about Lena’s statement when he called into Fox & Friends on Tuesday morning. He called her a “B-actor” and said she “has no, you know, mojo.” Which… I think it sort of funny? I mean, think about all of the terrible things Trump could have said. He just went with “B-actor” and “no mojo.” It’s almost quaint. He also said if he wins, he’ll be “doing a great service to this country” by forcing all of these celebrities out.

Here are some photos of Lena Dunham and Gloria Steinem at the Matrix Awards on Monday night. Lena’s hair looks so much better here.

I never thought I would agree with Donald Trump on something..

    • Goats on the Roof says:

      Yeah, he’s not exactly wrong…

    • SilkyMalice says:

Yup. He got this one right.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

But seriously, even if you agree with the sentiment, do you want a president who gets in Twitter wars and talks like a 14 year old? Shouldn’t he just ignore her?

      • Tessd says:

@GoodNamesAllTaken – thank you, my thoughts exactly.

      • Jayna says:

        Amen.

      • i have mojo says:

As much as I loathe Lena Dunham on some days, let’s seriously think about this: a very likely serious Presidential Candidate of the United States is someone who, instead of acting like a he is seeking the highest office in the land, has stooped so low at trash-mouthing some hipster actress/producer/writer. Think about it. This person maybe running our country and leader of the free world. I am scared.

      • K says:

Thank you! I mean the president shouldn’t address it. When Ted Nudget said he’d what like to shoot Obama or whatever Obama never said anything, and while I hate to give W props he was ripped by celebrities constantly and he never went out and trashed them.

I don’t like Lena- I’m not sure trump is wrong in what he is saying but you don’t say it if you want to be president not because celebrities are special but because you need to have thicker skin. If he can’t handle Lena Duham how is he going to handle Putan?

      • Esmom says:

i have mojo, you are exactly right. The fact that he would even engage in crap like this speaks volumes about the guy and his un-fitness for our highest office.

      • Magnoliarose says:

Orange Julius is a wee babe GNAT. 60 plus years young the poor lad.
Can you imagine he wins and Wendi Deng leaves Putin for him? His twitter war with him would be epic.

      • Ash says:

        GoodNamesAllTaken- Thank you. Agreed.

      • Carol says:

You would think, right? What potential President spends his extra time insulting celebrities on Twitter? But Trump is a different kind of animal. And I do mean animal. Maybe a pig or something but I don’t want to insult pigs. Although Rosie and Lena often get on my nerves, so does Trump with his simple-minded pronouncements such as calling all illegals rapists, POWs losers, encouraging a little violence against his detractors at rallies, and wanting women to be punished for having an abortion before claiming they are victims of mean ole doctors. Yeah, Trump is WAY better than Rosie et al. Not.

      • gwen says:

He can’t find the high road. Never could. We are in deep poo if this awful man is our next president.

    • Izzy says:

Thank you. I was a little afraid I would be the only one thinking this – it seems kind of mean. True, though. But mean.

    • Keaton says:

I hate Trump but I think he was being uncharacteristically generous in his assessment of Lena lol

    • imqrious2 says:

Now THIS is one thing about Trump that I can support! Bye Lena (Rosie, Whoopie, et al); don’t forget to let the door hit you on the way out!

However, I do remember how many of these special little Hollywood Snowflakes promised to defect to Canada when Bush won, and yet… Alec Baldwin: WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?? lol

      • LeAnn Stinks says:

LOL! I completely agree with your comments. All these celebrities look like major hypocrites, not to mention they all have enough money to live comfortably almost anywhere.

They all sound like children throwing temper tantrums. “If I don’t get my way, I am taking my ball and going home.” Wah, wah…

  2. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I live in Delaware, so you can imagine my joy at his victory here. Gag.

    • doofus says:

GNAT, didn’t know you were from the DEL. love it down there. great fishing!

    • Magnoliarose says:

Don’t feel bad he won my home state, my extended family’s home states and he will win my other home state. I share your disappointment.

  3. Neelyo says:

I was about to say he’s found his new Rosie O’ Donnell but I see from his tweet he’s still trolling the original. He really can’t let anything go. SOO sensitive!

    • Lindy79 says:

The idea that this man who reacts so childishly to any slight against him, who has used such hatred, bigotry, vitriol and lies to campaign could potentially become POTUS is so beyond frightening to me, I actually can’t even quantify it.

      • teatimeiscoming says:

Yeah, it’s really a national embarrassment that he’s made it so far so successfully. I can only hope it rallies all of those horrified by him to vote for whomever is his opposition.

      • ladysussex says:

@Lindy79 I wish I could remember the name of the journalist, (I hope one of the Brits on this site can tell us) but there was a fascinating story by a female British journalist who did a piece on him years ago. She’s a very attractive woman and he was very flirty and made “passes” at her during the interview process. When she rejected his advances and said she wanted to maintain a “professional relationship” for the interview, he started treating her with disdain. When her piece was aired, it wasn’t entirely flattering. He sent her threatening e-mails for years to come. He really becomes vicious to people if he feels they have failed to acknowledge his greatness.

      • SJO says:

Its not a national embarrassment, its a global one.

    • JudyK says:

Exactly. His bravado and childish name calling reveal his real insecurity.

    • pinetree13 says:

He must be learning though…I honestly think the ONLY reason he didn’t say something about Lena’s appearance is he has heard some of the criticism about him and women’s appearance so he must have been ACTUALLY trying to avoid adding to that. There’s just no way he would normally resist saying something about Lena especially her weight.

  4. LannisterForever says:

I actually think Lena looks cute here! Her hair is nice and the dress is pretty flattering.

    Yuck @ everything Trump.

    • Dana says:

She’s actually trying super hard to look cute.

    • JKL says:

I don’t know why she keeps cutting her hair short; it’s so much better longer.

      • Locke Lamora says:

I think she looks so nice with a brown pixie cut. She has beautiful eyes and short hair brings them out. The blonde bowl cut was by far the worst haircut she ever had.

      • Esmom says:

LL, Yes, anything is better than that hideous bowl!

  5. Esther says:

like all those people who left twice because of both Bush terms?

    • Goats on the Roof says:

Exactly. This is a threat that’s thrown around every damn election cycle. People were leaving if Obama was elected, and people were leaving when Bush was elected…except it never happened. It’s a tired threat and an unnecessary one to boot. Are people so concerned with Lena Dunham’s presence on US soil that it would deter them from voting for a particular candidate if they were so inclined? Get over yourself, girl.

      • Locke Lamora says:

Maybe she just doesn’t want to live in a country where Trump is president? Or Cruz?
Seriously, America, you really need to elect a Democrat or the whole world is screwed.

      • Goats on the Roof says:

        @Locke

Our choices this election cycle are really shitty. Bernie Sanders really doesn’t have the numbers to make him a viable candidate, so our choices are 1) Donald Trump, an asshole blowhard, and 2) Hillary Clinton, a proven liar who pays lip service to being for women but actually targeted every woman who ever accused her rat bastard of a husband of assault.

        We’re not winning either way.

      • Locke Lamora says:

Oh I know. It’s a shame about Bernie, but out of two evils, Hilary is definitely the lesser one.

      • SilkyMalice says:

I would rather have an asshole blowhard who tells it like it is over a proven liar. I can’t believe I just typed this. Help.

      • Kitten says:

We’re not really sitting here and saying that Trump hasn’t lied before right?

      • Locke Lamora says:

You guys seriously expect a politician not to be a liar? Good luck with that.

      • Jwoolman says:

Well, if the rest of the world would just insist we get rid of all our weapons of mass destruction (which we actually do have in great quantities), they wouldn’t have to worry so much about what fool gets elected Prez of the United States.

      • Lady D says:

What has to change to let a president run for a third or fourth term? I realize it’s probably too late for this election, but can it be changed?

      • K says:

Ok everyone says she is a proven liar and while yeah she’s lied she is a politician what is this proven liar thing? Because I’m missing the big lie?

Also every report has shown that out of every canidate including Bernie she has been the most truthful on the campaign trail. She is not my first choice but let’s be real she has been the most honest on trail, she has the most experience and has received the most negative press.

So when people say she is a proven liar I want proof because I’m starting to think they are just following a negative media narrative that hasn’t been proven.

      • Magnoliarose says:

Donald is a pathological liar and a blowhard. The stories about him are terrible and once they come out he won’t seems so viable anymore.

      • Lizzy says:

K, there are numerous examples of Hillary lying. Two that immediately come to mind are the Lewinsky affair (she claimed this was just a story created by a vast rightwing conspiracy on the Today show) and her being fired from the Watergate investigation for lying. If that is not enough, just google/bing for more.

It’s up to you to decide if these (and other examples) are within what you consider to be acceptable lies by politicians, since all politicians are in the habit of stretching the truth and pumping up their resume (such as Al Gore saying he inspired “Love Story” or Hillary saying Chelsea was at ground zero on 9/11). However, she does have a track record of lies; this is not a meme or false narrative.

      • K says:

@Lizzy if you think she was lying about Monica you are foolish she was humiliated in that. I think while she has no allusions about Bill she didn’t think he’d be so stupid to do this in the White House like that, that if he was going to cheat he’d do it like all the others and make sure it was handled.

I don’t believe she doubted he was cheating on her but I 100% believe she didn’t think Monica was true and the walk to the helicopter proved it. That was a woman hurt and scorned.

She is still the most honest person currently running- that might not be saying much but she is it has been proven. Also Donald trump lies so much the media doesn’t have time to go through all the false claims. Vote how you want but don’t say Hillary is the liar in the race when she clearly isn’t. Is she as honest as you and I? No but she is the most honest person running.

    • Lizzy says:

Heh, exactly. I don’t know why celebrities think threatening to flee the country if this or that person is elected will sway anyone’s opinion. Stay and work for the changes you want if it’s that important to you.

Also, why is it always Canada? No one wants to go South to Mexico?

      • Esmom says:

I love the idea of moving to Mexico, it’s one of my favorite places. But maybe Canada’s an easier choice because of our common language?

      • Flora says:

More important question is: Does Canada even want Lena Dunham in the country?

    • me says:

I don’t think Americans will be able to handle the amount of taxes us Canadians pay lol.

  6. StormsMama says:

Season 5 of Girls was really good.
Lena is not everyone’s cup of tea but she is an artist.

    • Kaya says:

I agree! It was fantastic, way better than the other seasons, and I was already a fan.

    • aang says:

I dislike all the characters most of the time but it is hard not to watch. She definitely has something to say, I might like it, but she is talented.

    • Dani says:

I would call her an actress before I called her an artist.

    • Mixtape says:

Gotta say, I have never cared for Lena either on or off screen, but I watched Sky this weekend and she was the only bright spot in it.

    • LeAnn Stinks says:

She is nothing more than a semi articulate conversationalist, who through the magic of nepotism, got to create a show about a group of vapid, narcissistic individuals. There is nothing original about that premise, see “Friends” or “Sex and The City.”

Using the word artist to describe Lena, is akin to calling McDonald’s gourmet food. No offense to those who love McDonalds.

  7. JudyK says:

When Trump keeps saying that his Republican opponents have “no depth,” I always think he’s talking about himself. What a worthless bag of Hot Air…had to laugh out loud when he recently referred to how “handsome” he is.

  8. Dolkite says:

Sounds like Trump took it all pretty much in stride. Maybe he learned his lesson from the feud with Rosie.

  9. Mandy says:

I looked into moving to Canada. It’s really hard for people who can’t work remotely for a US company. I decided moving to Costa Rica would be better. I’m prepared for President Trump. Side note: this is the best I’ve seen Lena look and the least controversial thing she’s said in a while.

    • Erinn says:

I actually am working for an American company in NS – I’m Canadian though – there’s constantly job postings that I could apply for throughout the US, but I think I’m good here haha.

But I’m all for Costa Rica moves – I’ve legit considered this. Not for political reasons – just sloths.

  10. nicole says:

Actually moving to Canada isn’t that simple. I know it’s a turn of phrase essentially but as a Canadian it seems so silly. Immigration is drastic, uncertain, time consuming and difficult.

    • Goats on the Roof says:

I looked into moving to Canada (because I love it there, not for silly reasons), but it’s definitely not as easy as people make it out to be.

    • Lambda says:

That’s what I was about to ask, too. Does Lena plan to be on a tourist visa and still work? Or try to get a work visa, but I’m not sure she has marketable skills? Really, because the US is a country of immigration, Americans are a bit silly about expatriation.

      • Starkiller says:

Uh, you realise Canada is a “country of immigrants” too, yeah?

      • Lambda says:

Yes, but what does that have to do with my point (which was: Americans are not very versed in emigration, since the US is a country of immigration)? Also, have a cup of chamomile tea.

    • lilacflowers says:

One of my co-workers is planning to retire to Montreal – he’s only 38 so retirement is a long way off but he has been taking all necessary steps and it is extremely involved.

      • Lambda says:

Smart man, your colleague, Montreal is one of the coolest city’s I’ve seen, plus, I haven’t met a Canadian I didn’t like.

      • me says:

        @ Lambda

I’m Canadian, and I meet many Canadians on a daily basis that I don’t like. Canada, for some reason has this universal image of being all accepting and full of kind folks. The truth is, we have crime, we have racists, we have rapists, we have it all. The image put out there is not all truthful. The reason America has more crime is because you guys have a much bigger population than us.

      • Scotchy says:

        @me
This Canadian right here is happy a fellow Canadian is bringing some truth to the table. Canada is country full of horrible people just like anywhere else. You just don’t hear about it on full blast like you do in most other places.
We are not all accepting and ,while we might give off the illusion that we are kind, we are not necessarily nice.

      • Robin says:

Some of the nastiest people I’ve ever met are Canadian. Some of the nicest, too. You can’t stereotype an entire population.

      • pinetree13 says:

I don’t think that’s fair. When people say “Canadians are nice” they’re not foolish enough to think the country is magically devoid of scammers, criminals, jerks, etc. After all, Ted Cruz was born in Canada! Ugh!

However, if you travel to a lot of different countries, you will see differences in overall friendliness of the people and in crime. Yes, Canada does have less people BUT a lot of crimes are also less proportionally so that is not the full story. As well, it really depends on the city too.

TL DR; I do think Canada deserves its reputation.

  11. tmbg says:

He finally said something I can get behind. Still, HOW does his wife let him walk out of the house looking like that? OK, fine, he is never going to give up the ugly ‘do, but can’t they see that the man is not tan, but a strange shade of burnt sienna?

  12. Patricia says:

As a north-easterner I am astounded at his wins. I didn’t think people up here would support him in droves like this. It makes me look around at everyone with a suspicious fear…

I am not a fan of Lena’s, due to her overwhelmingly exhausting case of special-snowflake-syndrome. However I find Trump’s remarks to be mysogenistic (sp??) to the highest degree. She’s not just an actor, she’s a director and writer and creator. Of course he wouldn’t address these accomplishments because he always demeans women. Also what the hell with the mojo remark?! To me, because this is Trump speaking, I think no mojo= not sexy= of no value or consequence because women are only valued for their sexiness. I swear that’s what he means here. In his effed up mind she is easily dismissed because she isn’t seen as “sexy and hot” and so she’s nothing.

    • Kitten says:

Same. I was thinking this morning that maybe conservatives in the northeast are voting for Trump because he holds the potential to be more socially liberal than the others. That made me feel slightly better.

Or am I just reaching here?

      • FingerBinger says:

More socially liberal? No. Trump proved he’s not socially liberal with his abortion comment.

      • Kitten says:

Except he was very vocal and on-the-record about being pro-choice before he changed his stance to court the GOP vote. So yeah, dude is likely lying his ass off just to get elected.

        http://dailycaller.com/2015/07/08/donald-trump-in-1999-i-am-very-pro-choice-video/

      • Esmom says:

KItten, I do think you might be reaching. While I agree that Trump would be more socially liberal (abortion flip flopping aside) I don’t think that trumps (ha!) his general unsavoriness for most people. While Cruz would definitely be worse than Trump as the POTUS, imo, Trump is simply not a fathomable choice no matter which was you try to look at it.

      • Kitten says:

Oh I wasn’t saying he was a fathomable choice at all? I just re-read my comment and I didn’t even insinuate that, I was simply trying to understand why he won the GOP vote in my state.
I live in the first state to legalize gay marriage and we’re socially liberal around here. I was simply wondering if this was a case of Massachusetts Republicans voting for who they perceive to be the lesser evil in that he’s not some crazy Evangelical extremist and that he is probably more socially liberal than the rest of the candidates.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear in my comments. I was certainly NOT implying that Trump was a good choice.

      • Magnoliarose says:

Kitten I think the only reason he won is because Ted Cruz is everything the Northeast rejects. My ties are New York and California and neither would elect a religious fascist. I have extended ties in the Deep South and once I saw he won the state my relatives live in, i knew there was trouble. It’s deeply red and Christian Right friendly so that told me a lot.

      • Kitten says:

That makes total sense to me, Magnoliarose. Sigh. Regardless of their reasons for voting, it is certainly unfortunate.

    • Classy and Sassy says:

I found the remark incredibly misogynistic as well. Pretty revolting, tbh. The fact people want this guy to be president is absolutely mind boggling.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I live in the MidAtlantic region and I was shocked that he won here. I don’t know anybody who doesn’t think he’s a joke, but somebody’s voting for this clown.

  13. vauvert says:

On behalf of Canada, we don’t want any of those celebs regardless who wins. We’ll be happy to take the intelligent, kind, open-minded folks from anywhere, but the likes of Whoopy, Lena etc can stay right where they are. (Also, as Nicole states above, it is not exactly as simple as picking up sticks and showing up at the border with a U-Haul.)
The sad thing is I think we need to start planning on a border wall pretty soon.😜 If that orange idiot wins, we need to make sure his brand of racist, sexist intolerance doesn’t spread like the plague it is.

    • Naya says:

Lol, build that wall Canada. If all these people follow through on their threat, Canada will be to the US what Taiwan is to China.

    • Magnoliarose says:

Fair is fair and we are sending Beibs back into the bosom of his birthplace. We are willing to keep him if you take Lena, Ted Cruz and Justin Timberlake. Maybe Kanye if the Beibs insists on being a fool forever.

  14. SamiHami says:

All those liberal celebs will move if he’s elected? Heck, that will probably get him at least a hundred more delegates! It’s a win-win; we get Trump for president and we get rid of those self important fools!

    Things are looking up! 🙂

    • lowercaselois says:

Wow such anger towards liberals. I am a liberal, but I don’t plan to move to Canada if a Republican wins But I know these things will happen.
1}Lots of “free stuff” for rich people.
if we have Donald Trump as President he will be focused almost entirely on making the richest few benefit the most from their governance.
      2. The end of Social Security and Medicare as we know them.
Gop wants the retirement age be raised for future retirees, knowing that life expectancy has grown for the people who could afford to retire without Social Security, not the laborers who desperately need it.
      3. Millions will lose health insurance.
Conservatives will also set about gutting Medicaid, which insures the most vulnerable Americans and provides essential help and housing to our sickest seniors. And thanks to a law signed by Ronald Reagan, taxpayers will have to absorb the cost of caring for the uninsured.
      4. We’ll switch from fighting climate change to encouraging it.
      5. War and Foreign Policy
Donald Trump never discusses his exact plan for foreign policy. And the cost of these policies — in dollars and American lives
If you want to have Donald Trump as President. Fine with me, but I can assure you it will be one or two terms of extreme instability for our Country. Democrats and even Republicans in Congress won’t want to work with him. Look at Illinois for example, wealthy Governor with no political experience, tries to run a state as if it was his own business and a state government who won’t work with him. No state budget for the last year, people are being laid off, public and private agencies closing. etc. Bills are not being paid to private vendors, Trickle down effect. It has become quite serious in Illinois

  15. lilacflowers says:

What Lena Dunham said is no surprise. Trump’s response is no surprise. What is surprising and infuriating is that a show on a network that promotes itself as a news network is getting away with asking a presidential candidate such stupid and irrelevant questions. Way to fail your first amendment freedom of the press duties there, Fox. How about asking the presidential candidate about fixing our bridges? Updating other essential infrastructure? How does he plan to control health costs? Insure that Social Security is still available for those of us paying now? You know, questions that actually pertain to the administration of government?

We should not be tolerating our media’s failure to do its job.

  16. Erinn says:

I don’t want any of them. EXCEPT Jon Stewart. I’ll take him in, personally.

I don’t think that many people realize that even a DUI can make you inadmissible in Canada. Given that there are over a million drunk driving arrests in the US every year… I don’t think nearly as many people are going to get over here as they seem to think.

Cape Breton (part of NS) has actually been using all of this election stuff as a tourist thing. They’re loving it. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/donald-trump-cape-breton-canada-rob-calabrese-americans-nova-scotia-1.3449987

Mind you, I live in the same province and have no particular interest in living in Cape Breton, but whatevs. Their winters are worse than mine. The husband keeps ‘threatening’ a short vacation there but I have absolutely no interest in a seven hour drive across the province to look at hills/tiny mountains. If I’m going to sit in a car for 7 hours I might as well go to Bangor, or spend an extra 3 and head to Boston. At least it’s a different country that way.

  17. Emilee says:

Like Canada really wants all of us to move there. lol I wonder if they ever have people threatening to move south if an election doesn’t turn out the way that they want. Or if they figure that, you know, it’s only four years and this is how a democracy works and just tough it out FFS…

    • Jwoolman says:

Well, at least Canada doesn’t have their top guy followed around by somebody with a briefcase with the codes to start a suicidal and homicidal nuclear World War III…

Since our Constitution says Congress has to agree to war, some people in Congress long ago tried to at least set up a requirement that the Prez had to consult with a small Congressional group before launching the missiles. The Pentagon insisted it wasn’t feasible, wouldn’t be enough time, so the idea was dropped. Think about that for a while. One person (who might someday be The Donald) has been given that much power. There will be no place to hide. Bye, bye, Canada, too.

  18. Adrien says:

    Poor Canada.

I was reading the DailyMail and they had Amal on I think it was the BBC talking about a case she is working on. It was interesting, because the interviewer actually addressed that some say she takes a case for her own high profile. She handled that pretty well.

But what floored me was the interviewer brought up how the Brits view the election over here and Trump, and she said she was perplexed by it and brought up his sexism, among other things, towards women and some of his remarks she’s read. She said she didn’t think he would get a lot of the women’s vote because of that.

i had no idea that the DailyMail had mostly Republican viewers as far as their viewership from the States, but color me shocked how much she was attacked for those comments regarding Trump and his attacks on women, etcl, and those comments attacking her comment re Trump were high-five upvoted by like 3,500 to 4,500 people, and only maybe by 300 to 500 downvoting such remarks.

I’m depressed by how far he came in this election and what it says about our country, still.

I’ve seen the same on any Trump article I see on Facebook news articles

    • Naya says:

The British readers can correct me but the Daily Mail news articles are always so xenophobic, racist, sexist and Islamaphobic, I assumes that its the Fox News of the UK. The main news headline is usually something like “muslim man attacks white woman, rewarded with council flat”. I’m not surprised they root for Trump.

I can’t stand any of them – Lena, Trump, Cruz, Hillary or Sanders (tho l’ ll at least give Bernie props for being authentic). Our election process has become a side show. I blame both parties for it. Politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle have put personal gain over serving the country for years.

That said – I do think Lena looks as good as she’s ever looked. Often her dresses are too baggy

  21. iseepinkelefants says:

You would think they’d be sort of made for each other. I live in Paris so o don’t pay very much attention to NYC society but she was telling me that Lena is actually kind of a spoiled New Yorker who comes from that very bobo class. They’re all wealthy but because they’re artist they’re bohemians in France we use the derogatory term BoBo. In Ny the term is more except able I guess. Anyhow I never fully realized that until I talked to this New Yorker. Now I find it funny when she spouts things because it’s easy to be bourgeois when talking about the plight of everyday man. It’s very NY I guess. But of course I say that as a Parisian which is basically the same just with less money and more socialism.

  22. Gabrielle says:

She is talentless and, sorry, not cute enough to be famous, at all! Go ahead to Canada girl!

    • Liz says:

So only good looking people deserve at chance at fame, No one no matter how talented can be famous if they aren’t cute?

      • Magnoliarose says:

You are fine Liz. The OP trolled that’s all. If answering with a question is wrong here we would bein serious trouble because so many do it.

    • Classy and Sassy says:

What a pig ignorant comment to make.

      • Liz says:

I don’t get the cute thing especially when it comes to actors but if it’s rude here to follow up someone’s comment with a question I won’t do that in future.

      • Classy and Sassy says:

Did I reply to you? Sorry Liz, I meant the OP of course 🙂

  23. Starkiller says:

These people know you can’t just pick up and move to Canada, right? That you need a job, sufficient funds, a visa, etc.?

Even if that were the case, are they so ignorant as to believe they’d be welcomed with open arms? I think it’s pretty common knowledge that most Canadians are not, shall we say…overly fond of their southern neighbors.

  24. Brit says:

Wow I hate Donald trump but I agree with him there

  25. Tessd says:

I don’t care about Lena, but Trump is such a cry baby – he can’t let anyone to say anything other than praise about him. I don’t want a president who gets into a full blown war over some provincial mayor of Chile mean comment about himself. What an idiot.

  26. Veronica says:

I’m not a fan of Lena, but I’m not blind to the misogynistic elements underneath his statement. She’s pretty accomplished outside of acting. I’m sure “mojo” is his polite of way of saying he wouldn’t f*ck her.

  27. me says:

You know Canada doesn’t just have an open door policy. We don’t just let anyone who wants to come here just walk on in as many celebs and American citizens seem to think. It’s funny so many Americans didn’t want to accept Syrian refugees but now so many Americans want to be welcomed with open arms in to Canada…sorry we’re too busy helping REAL refugees. I think Americans should stay put and try to talk some sense into the people who are supporting Trump. I mean WTH? America is a great country, you shouldn’t want to leave it…stay and try to make it better.

  28. tw says:

He’s so petty and insecure. I guess his tiny hands have something to do with it.

  29. Bread and Circuses says:

Well, Donald is a D-list reality star, which is below a D-list celebrity, so Lena being B-list is a big step above the Racist Cheeto himself.

  30. Abby_J says:

Canada gave us the band Rush. Rush is the greatest band in the world. That really should balance out giving us Justin Bieber.

These actors/musicians who threaten to move if gets elected are all idiots. Even if you really follow through, you can bet they will be all up in America’s business releasing their shows/movies/albums because they make their money here.

I’ve got a bad feeling about this #Prince #Bowie. It’s like God is calling back his angels before all hell breaks loose on Earth #Trump

  32. bettyrose says:

Look, Drumpf says so many things, he’s no different than the proverbial broken clock that’s right twice a day. I’m more concerned about Lena’s generic nonsense. You wanna live in Canada? Great. But don’t act like some teenager storming out in protest.

For one thing, your local government has a much more significant impact on your daily life, so if you don’t like the president, double down on your efforts to be active in your own community. Second, if we survived 8 years of Dubya, how much worse could Trump possibly be. Third, I’m not wasting my time on a third.

  33. HoustonGrl says:

Wow that’s pretty low. Only a scum bag would demean a beautiful young woman. He really needs to learn the meaning of the word gentleman.
