That cannot be her real hair. My very first thought was those extensions are not a good length for her. I think she looks best when her hair hits right below her shoulder. The extra long mermaid hair looks a little try hard. Ditto on the eyelashes. Although, as it is the Met Gala, I give her a pass on the try hard. That is the entire point after all.

I think she looks gorgeous, so to each their own. Her hair is so shiny and healthy-looking (I know some of it is fake). I like her dress. I get that the whole thing is a bit Elvira-ish, but she carries it off. I have a soft spot for this lady, so I’m probably bias. I’m still so happy for her and supportive of what she had to do to get away from Tom and the CoS. I will always root for her and her fatherless little girl. I hope it’s true that Katy and Jamie Foxx are a couple on the sly. She deserves a real man.

Stoned people are usually having some fun, and she looks miserable here. I think the “look” is fine, but I think her eyes look sad. If she was smiling, or even just had some sparkle in her eyes, it wouldn’t look so harsh.

Me too. I don’t see a reputable adoption agency with a waiting list prioritizing these two – even for money or recognition. It would blow an agency’s reputation. My guess, like you, is this is probably a private adoption through connections within their church. Sad.
The chestnut hair color is lush when styled like this. I like her makeup and necklace but the dress doesn’t work in those colors. It needs more punch. Not her best overall.
All in all the event was lackluster and missing some serious fashion star power. With a few exceptions it looked second tier to me. It is reminiscent of the blah Oscar season looks we endured.
The missing usual suspects is in itself suspect. Hmmm.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. They were lacking some huge fashion moments from some big A-listers. It needed people like Charlize, Angelina. It especially needed Rihanna, because she has made some huge fashion statements at the Met Ball and really dresses according to the theme, and always looks stunning.
I even miss George and Amal. I thought she looked fabulous last year.
I did love Naomi Campbell this year. I thought she was one of the most beautiful there as far as from head to toe. She puts the younger girls to shame.

The hair and makeup is the best Katie has looked in many years. Gorgeous. She hasn’t ruled the red carpet since her divorce from Tom, but lookswise she did this time. .
I love midnight blue on her, but the cut of this dress makes her look bigger than she is, unless it’s just the photo. I can’t tell.
