I am so glad that there is a Chris Matthews post because I have been thinking for a while that he is losing it, and I am glad I have a platform to voice this frustration. During Hardball, He goes off on these odd ball tangents that make absolutely no sense, and all the while he is spitting like Sylvester the Cat. He will interrupt full segments of people trying to talk to make reference to some flavor of ice cream that he liked as a boy but that his mother wouldn’t get for him so he would have to go to his grandmother. I like the format of Hardball so I don’t want to see the show canceled, but I think they should break up the Mark Halperin and John Heilmann and give Hardball to John Heilmann.
His constant interruptions with his guests is exactly why I stopped watching. He needs to retire.
THIS. I cannot watch msnbc’s election coverage anymore because I just scream at the TV “LET HER ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.” He interrupts constantly, but he is especially bad to female guests. I don’t understand how the other anchors aren’t visibly cringing all the time.
