Did you see Meghan Trainor fall on The Tonight Show last week? It was kind of endearing in that it looked genuine and she handled it like a pro. I don’t even want to tell you when it happened because it’s worth watching the entire video for the anticipation of when she’s going to fall, but you can see just the fall here. Jimmy Fallon got down on the floor with her afterwards, which she later called “so cute.” Her new single, “Me Too,” grew on me and her performance was fun and entertaining. There’s something disarming about her, and I don’t think it was a publicity stunt when she pulled the video for that song for featuring a digitally slimmed down version of herself. I could be wrong, but she seems like she’s trying to be a positive role model and do her thing. Plus her music is catchy and fun.
Anyway Meghan wore this hot pink sequin front zip formfitting dress to the Wango Tango concert in LA on Saturday. It’s got stripes on the wrists and across the hem and looks like a fancy version of a long Members Only jacket. It’s super cute and I love the sporty vibe. I was trying to figure out who made this dress when I saw that she wore the blue version on Good Morning America on Friday with the same shoes. (That photo is on Just Jared and you can see a quick video below. Her interview and performance is on ABC.) So is this just practical or kind of lax fashion-wise? It’s a perfect dress for her regardless. Her shoes are kind of terrible though. There are better ways to do studded booties.

Iggy Azalea was also at Wango Tango, in Moschino (I’m guessing, but I’m pretty sure I’m right) in a cartoon imprint moto dress. I think this is whimsical but the cut/fit is off, it looks like she’s wearing a boyfriend’s t-shirt to bed, and she paired it with thigh high brown boots. Why are these a thing? We just saw Kim Kardashian in very similar nude boots. At least these don’t look like they’re cutting off Iggy’s circulation.
This is what Iggy wore to perform. Granny panties, high lace up booties and a loose green top/cape over a mesh shirt. Sure.
Here’s Demi Lovato in a gold and black Balmain which retails for $5,615. That’s a lot of money for such a fug dress. I guess all those sequins don’t come as cheap as they look.
Karrueche Tran is dressed like she’s headed to yoga class. Her abs look incredible but maybe frayed sweatpants aren’t the best choice for an event.

I do it with a blouse or top or pants, but I don’t think I’d want a dress in two bright colors. Maybe one in black and another in a color, but not two such similar pieces. Nothing wrong with it, I just probably wouldn’t see the point.

I do this all the time because I’m busty and if a top fits well, I’m going to buy it in different colors. I do it less often with dresses because I just buy a size up and alter but I’m not altering a t-shirt.
By the way, if you’re busty, pinupgirlclothing has the best shirts–they have darts!

Eh, I mean, I’ll buy some more basic pieces in different colors. Like t-shirts, or maxi skirts, or stuff like that. I don’t think I’d buy such a ‘distinct’ we’ll call it dress in multiple colors…then wear it in the same weekend.

megan trainer has been wearing the same sequin dresses period. That’s all I have ever seen her in.
I’m even worse- if I find something that is comfortable and I like the way it looks, I will buy exact multiples of it! If I really like more than one color, I will mix them. But often I only like one color available. I learned to do this because the odds are high that the item won’t be permanently available. So when my favorite disintegrates, I’ll have to go through the bother of finding something else (not into carefully torn clothing, am old fashioned that way). I also hate shopping for clothes offline or online, so there’s that.
Guess I was unduly influenced at an early age by the story of the rich man in Switzerland, not into flaunting his wealth, who bought exact copies of his modest and unassuming suit, so he could wear a fresh one every day but nobody but his cleaner knew it…
I do the same. I just bought 4 identical shirts that I like to wear for work because the first one got a little stain on it. I used to do the same with lipstick, stockpile it out of fear they might discontinue the shade. Now I have a couple boxes that are going on 5 years old since I stopped wearing it!
God, Balmain makes the same style of dress every single time. And it’s not flattering on anybody.

Karreuche Tran is so beautiful. Even in her dumb outfit. I think this every time I see a photo of her and I have no clue what she does or why she’s a thing – all I know about is her famous ex but I suppose there’s more.
She is gorgeous, I remember seeing her in a screenshot standing next to Kylie Jenner. I couldn’t help but think, “Kylie’s not going to be friends with her for too long, before she starts rearranging her face to look like hers”
