Is something wrong with me that I never got on the Beyonce train. When I see her, I just see something that is…mechanical and not pleseant.
I’m not a Beyonce fan. I was a DC fan for sure but after that I never really paid attention. I do have the song “Halo” on my iPhone though, I love that song.
@Tiffany I hope we have nothing wrong with us. I’ve never been a fan either… just not into that kind of music. The few bits of video I’ve seen of her have struck me as contrived and mechanical, too.
I find her music boring but we all have different musical tastes and I know others would say the same about performers I like.
Never been a fan. I haven’t listened to her in years but I just don’t like the sound of her singing voice. In DREAMGIRLS when she was emulating the sound of Diana Ross I thought she was fine. She just doesn’t have a big enough voice to do all of the AMERICAN IDOL caterwauling. When she tries, the sound is akin to a cat being skinned alive.
Also, she pulls that shit where she adds a ‘yeah’ to a lyric and gets a songwriter credit. It’s an insult to actual lyricists.
Add me to the party! Never cared for Beyoncé. She does work hard, which I admire, but I don’t enjoy her music and I can’t stand her ego, her values, or her lack of integrity. Real talent doesn’t require as much dazzle as a circus production.
Agree. For me she is not exceptional at anything (not great singer, dancer, etc.) or find her interesting, so I’ve never understand the hype around her. She has a great PR team tho
Nope, apparently we are legion. It’s not my style of music but beyond that I find it overly produced and manipulative. And the constant dry humping (err…dancing) in every video is annoying. She comes across astaking herself WAY too seriously and slightly condecending whilst having a very mediocre voice (sans all the autotune and production.) I did liked DC., they seemed fun.
I also believe she regularly steals from other artists and that is a deal breaker.
I heard what I can only assume was one of her new songs while I was at the gym today and it was basically just sex noises and her saying you watch me on your video phone. Horrible.

A gin martini is just a martini. A vodka martini is an alternative. Have you tried it with different gins? I think a beefeater or sapphire martini is not great, especially with an onion or a twist. Try one with a more juniper and herb heavy one like tanqurey, it won’t be so bitter.

They informed us of most of the changes at VS for awhile, but they only recently verified the end of the lounge wear line. I think it’s a wise move given that most of those products are produced by Pink, but I’m sad to lose the products that don’t have PINK splashed all over them. On another note, preparing for semi-annual is going to be hell if they decide to clearance it all out early.
Beyonce’s music is super boring. I’ve tried to listen it but nope, it’s just boring, the same every track, every move, all that rap-wannabe “Imma hustla” type of thing. It’s just not appealing, it seems try hard and lacking imagination. That’s my opinion, anyone else is free to enjoy.
