Game 6 of the NBA Finals were held last night in Cleveland. And guess who came out for LeBron and Steph? None other than Beyonce and Jay-Z. Bey and Jay love basketball and I think theyâre tight with LeBron? And Beyonce probably doesnât care for the Currys after Steph Curryâs wife spilled some judgment on women who dress provocatively last year. By all accounts, Bey and Jay were acting loved-up and happy last night. Even though Beyonce spilled all of her Lemonade, they seem stronger than ever. While I like Beyonceâs suit a lot, I donât think it looks particularly comfortable for sitting at a game for hours.
The NBA Finals have been great this year because itâs a rematch between the Warriors and the Cavs, and because LeBron and Steph are arguably the two most important players in the NBA. What? Iâve started watching ESPN at the gym, you guys! Iâve actually cared about the Finals this year, because I genuinely like both Curry and James. Iâve been enjoying how Steph Curry has been held up as pretty much the Obama of the NBA, complete with a photogenic wife and kids. Stephâs wife Ayesha Curry is generally considered to be non-controversial, but Ayesha stepped in it last night after the game. She tweeted-and-deleted âI’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money… Or ratings in not sure which. I won’t be silent . Just saw it live sryâ after the Warriors lost Game 6 (and after her husband got fouled out of the game). Itâs definitely in the best interest of all of the corporations involved for the Finals to keep going to Game 7, but Ayesha is now taking up the mantle of truth-teller. Though she deleted that âriggedâ tweet, she left some other interesting tweets up.

It seems like they can’t do anything without upsetting hordes of people. When BeyoncĂ© and Jay z kept their relationship an open secret, there was huge backlash. They did that for the vast majority of the relationship. Everyone wanted more, more, more. In recent years they’ve started playing the game everyone wanted and now there’s backlash for that. It’s a little cray.
Ayesha gets on my nerves. I don’t know why, but it’s the same feeling I had with Taylor, Amy Schumer, Kylie, Ruby Rose, Iggy, etc, and then they all proved me right, so I guess time will tell.
As for game 7, I want the Cavs to win only so that Ohio gets it’s ring/trophy? (Idk basketball lol), and James accomplishes what he’s set out to do. Other than that it’s all eh to me.
I love Bey and her figure so much, and even while sitting down she looks like she’s killing it in that suit! Jay who lol.

admittedly we’re biased (Cleveland resident here) but Ayesha Curry needs to put her phone down. Her tweets yesterday/last night showed what an entitled little brat she is and her husband’s actions confirmed it for him as well. They win well but they don’t lose well and that’s a true testament to their character.

The Currys have a very carefully-manufactured image as the perfect family, with him being an outstanding player (which he is) and the perfect husband and father, while she is at home raising the girls while still being a wonderful cook and lifestyle guru. Guess the mouthguard throwing and stupid tweets show what’s closer to reality. He did at least calm down a bit for his press conference, and he apologized to the guy who got hit with the mouthguard.

Every time I’ve seen them together at a basketball game, I’ve always wondered what’s it like to be a stranger sitting next to Bey. Whenever I sit next to someone, I almost inevitably say something to them. What’s the protocol when one is sitting next to Bey? Am I allowed to say, “I love that color you’re wearing.” Can I say, “that’s a bull call?” Or should I not speak or look in her direction? If you can sit front row at the NBA Finals, you’re so poor sucker.

Eh, this is why I don’t really understand it when people say Bey snatched weaves and spilled the T with Lemonade. Everything is the exact same as before, and she didn’t confirm anything we didn’t know about. Ever since she’s been with Jay she’s released songs about the troubles of her relationship, and they always come with a message of forgivance.

I am liking the Currys less and less. He’s an outstanding player and seems like a decent guy, and it’s not his fault the media sucks up to him so much, and I sympathize with both of them that they can’t even go to the mall to get their daughter’s ears pierced without hordes of people standing outside the shop with their phones out (as happened last year). But the mouthguard throwing is ridiculous and her tweets even more so…plus I’m just so sick of cooking shows and lifestyle blogs…especially when the person doing them is only getting attention because of their spouse, and not because they are particularly talented or creative.
