Jennifer Lopez is an actress, singer, dancer, and proud mother. She’s so enamored with her 8-year-old twins, Max and Emme, that just of thought of them brings her to tears. Jennifer allows her audiences to share these emotional moments in her Las Vegas show, “All I Have,” currently running at Caesars Palace. The 46-year-old entertainer admitted that the thought of her kids brings her to tears on stage.
Jennifer, currently promoting her role in the upcoming animated flick Ice Age: Collision Course, which opens on Friday, confessed to Entertainment Tonight that having her kids with her brings out her emotional side. Said Jennifer, “People are like, ‘Is she crying!?’ I’m like, “Almost every night, thank you.” She added that, just like their famous mama, Max and Emme love to see their faces projected on the huge screens in that cavernous theater (I saw Cher there, that place is HUGE.)
”They love it. You know, they go, ‘Why is my face up there!?’ My son will be like, ‘Why is my face there? People are laughing at us!’ He gets worried about that stuff. My daughter [just] loves watching it.”
Jennifer has a “favorite things” feature in the current issue of US Weekly. Lopez admitted her love of chocolate (who doesn’t love chocolate?) and shared a few of the things she says bring meaning to her life.
On reliving her past on stage: The Vegas show is a culmination of my career. I can’t say there’s a favorite costume, but I always love the ‘Bronx’ outfit – it’s a reminder of my childhood and my dream of becoming an entertainer.
On her indulgences: Because I’m so busy, a day off for me is staying at home to relax or spending time with my kids – those are true indulgences. It’s important for me to hydrate and get at least eight hours sleep a day. I try to eat healthy, but occasionally I indulge – I love chocolate or a good meal out at a restaurant with friends.
On who she’s listening to: I really enjoy music by artists like Drake or Bruno Mars – whether it’s an upbeat dance song or a slow ballad, their music evokes lots of emotions.

I can’t imagine Jennifer has any spare time to listen to music. Girl is busy. In addition to promoting Ice Age, in which she reprises her role as saber tooth tiger Shira, she made an appearance at a Hilary Clinton fundraiser at Harvey Weinstein’s Manhattan digs on Monday, wearing an orange dress with a thigh-high slit that left little to the imagination. But, when you think about it, it’s not a surprising wardrobe choice for J-Lo. I think it’s a little much and I don’t think the pale orange hue is doing her any favors. She’s also juggling filming the second season of her TV series, Shades of Blue, and performing in Vegas in July and August. Just typing that made me tired.

Her body is amazing. She is just screaming for attention, though, in a dress that’s made to flash people. I assume her bits are covered, but why wear something that’s going to make people’s eyes go there?
I hate that squinty-eyes-open-mouth pose that she does CONSTANTLY. I can just see her practicing that in the mirror for HOURS.

Hah! I don’t like chocolate, either. Before sweet rewards were banned from schools, it was the best treat to buy for my class, because I wouldn’t even be tempted to eat it. My daughter doesn’t like it much either, to the point where we decided this Halloween we’d go to a movie or festival rather than trick-or-treat for a bunch of Hershey’s and what not that’ll just be given away. I’m glad to see other people don’t like chocolate either!

She looks fabulous, but she looks VERY different from her early days in the movie Selena. I believe she’s had multiple nose jobs and other things done, but I don’t knock it. I love that when someone asked her if Ben Affleck and Diddy were on a sinking boat together, which one she would rescue, she answered something like, “I’d let them both drown.” Then she came back with, “You know I love you both, guys.” She is clear-sighted for sure. The first answer was perfection!
You know that she’d dump ol’ Casper in a hot minute if Ben wanted to get back together.
A few years ago I read a blind item (don’t recall where) about a successful singer who actually never sang, but had some sort of very complicated lip sync system set up. I remember many of the commentators on that site guessed the blind to be about JLo. I don’t see how that would be possible, though.
Anyway, she’s got a great figure. I’m sure part of it is genetics, but she must also have a great trainer and eat really well, too. As for her skin– wow! I wonder if she eats a lot of organic raw vegan foods? Probably doesn’t drink alcohol, or if she does, not very much. Plus, she looks and sounds happy, a bit of a dumbkin maybe, but happy.
JLo can’t sing. Like Britney (in the past), she’s a fantastic dancer, but she’s not a strong singer at all. She started her career as a Fly Girl on In Living Color, hip-hop dancing. JLo’s natural singing voice is very weak and tinny without much range, and she gets A LOT of in-studio help. That being said, she hustles and she’s got top-notch management.
I’m positive that she works out like a freak, though. Her body type does not take kindly to an inactive lifestyle, and if she were to quit working out, I can almost guarantee that her very toned muscle would quickly turn to chub. You can tell she does take great care of herself – her skin is fantastic and procedures can only do so much before they start becoming obvious.
One last thing – that orange dress she wore to a *fundraiser* was inappropriate for the setting. JLo style, sure, but there are photos of her flashing her underwear because of how high the slit was cut and the proportions were all off.
Just stunning. I saw her in Vegas and the show is FANTASTIC. She’s just as talented a performer as Beyonce.

I have never liked JLo…until I saw her carpool episode. She seemed funny and grounded. I don’t understand why she still has a music career considering she can’t sing though.
She’s a super hard worker but I don’t understand her drive at this stage of her life. She is mega rich and successful, so why does she need to be doing a Vegas stint, making a T.V. series, all at the same time and more? This quote “…Because I’m so busy, a day off for me is staying at home to relax or spending time with my kids – those are true indulgences. ” Doesn’t that bother anybody but me? Spending time with her kids is considered an indulgence? Her son doesn’t like his face on the screen but she poo poos it? Sorry, but she is just another narcissist in the industry whose kids seem more like props than they do a priority.
