E! News: Taylor Swift did not get a boob job, she has ‘always liked her breasts’

As I’ve mentioned in several Tiddles posts, Taylor Swift has been looking suspiciously busty during all of the photo-ops and pap strolls for The Glorious Tiddlesbanging of 2016. Taylor memorably and notably got a boob job back in 2012. I remember that story, because I felt like a boob-job investigator, going through months of photos to try and determine when the boob job happened. My guess is still April 2012 for the first boob job. And over the years, her boob job had a sort of wonky look, depending on her bra or top. Sometimes they looked hard and very LeAnn Rimes-esque, let’s say. But I strongly suspect that a few months ago, Taylor went away and got another boob job. I think she went up a cup size and/or fixed some bad work.

What’s weird is that people are just now noticing that Swifty is not all-natural. Page Six ran this Forever 21 Instagram (above) of Taylor in their bikini, and wondered aloud if Taylor really has been enhanced. Yes. She is. She has been enhanced for more than four years. And now she’s re-enhanced. But according to Taylor Swift’s unnamed friends (her publicist), Taylor’s breasts are completely untouched.

It’s the question that’s been floating around for a bit of time now: Did Taylor Swift get breast implants? After being photographed while out and about lately with Tom Hiddleston and then again most recently during her Fourth of July party— rocking a very flattering America bikini top—people couldn’t help but notice something a little, er, bigger about her chest, automatically assuming the country-turned-pop singer went under the knife.

Well, sorry to burst your bubbles (or silicon dreams), but a source tells E! News she did not get a boob job and any rumors surrounding that idea are totally false.

In fact, another source tells us Taylor has “always liked her breasts.” The insider explained that she “likes the fact she can go bra-less and have them still be perky.”

[From E! News]

Er, they’re perky because they’re man-made! I mean, props to Taylor for getting implants the correct size for her frame, but let’s be honest: they are implants. Absolutely. But I think it’s absolutely hilarious that Taylor is so controlling and obsessive that it bothers her to know that we’re sitting out here, talking about her boob job. That’s why this E! News story happened – because Taylor reads the comments. She reads the tweets. She reads the Tiddlesbanging coverage. Hey, girl! I think your boob job looks really nice now. I’m glad you got that wonky 2012 work fixed.

These are photos from Nashville, two weeks ago. She’s a full C-cup now, right?

    Yeah, right. And I’m Oprah.

  2. Andrea says:

Does Taylor think that we all are 13 year old teenagers that believe in everything she says? 😂😂

    • maria says:

      yes.

    • HH says:

Much like the Kardashians, I find it funny that people can continually capitalize on their fame, but also be completely oblivious to the other parts of it. Like, say… PHOTOS. They try to deny things as though there isn’t PLENTY of photographic evidence to the contrary.

  3. freebunny says:

    Hahahhahahahahahahah….

  4. meme says:

oh brother. why do her people feel the need to respond to everything written about her on the internet?

    • burnsie says:

bce no matter how old she is, she has the emotional maturity of a middle schooler.

doesn’t help that celebs often have stunted personal growth anyways

    • Kimbers says:

Does she have the same doctor as shay mitchell from pretty little liars? Both have really good boob jobs!!

If u want to fight nature & be boobalicious, a boob job is for u! Lol =]

  5. Bishg says:

How do you fight back a “She’s got implants!” with a “She’s always liked her breasts!”
    It doesn’t even make sense.
“You are a liar!” “I’ve always liked daffodils!”
    Anyway, nice try, Taylor.
Just own up to it and let’s call it a day.

    • Ronaldinhio says:

      This is it!
      She may have always liked her breasts but that didn’t stop her having some silicon lopped in there. She may even still like them {I hope so}
It doesn’t answer or solve the ‘TayTay has localised swelling in the breast area’ conundrum

      Like you say own it

  6. Scarlett says:

Um yes you did. Yes you did get a boob job. And yes you did get another one. Chest of lies!

    • BTownGirl says:

I fell over at Chest Of Lies hahahahahaha!! Seriously, my boyfriend is a plastic surgeon and he says DEFINITELY two surgeries. He thinks the first try looks jacked up too, hilariously enough! That water slide ain’t the only thing that got inflated, and you know it, girl.

      • qwerty says:

Yeah you can see them very very clearly in on of her outfits from the VS fashion show a few years back. And now they’re even bigger.

      • BTownGirl says:

Ain’t no padded brassiere doin’ that! This is why the correct strategy is always to just say nothing haha!

      • Sticks says:

I’m not sure I think they’re bigger. But for sure she’s had implants for years now.

      • teacakes says:

        Chest of Lies is GOLD.

And it wasn’t any padded bra that made the outline of her implant show right through her boob when she was skinny. She could have just ignored the talk about her boobs but chose to go Kardashian in her response to it, now she’s invited the ‘liar’ comment.

    • Denise says:

@qwerty – That outfit is the perfect match for those subtle and demure implants.

  7. aims says:

Everything about Taylor is BS. I’m seriously up to my eyeballs in Swifty BS!! I don’t comment on her life because a) she’s emotionally peaked at 15-16 and has not progressed from there. B) She loves the press. About her love life or “friends ” or body or her VERY elementary and poorly sung songs. As long as she’s getting attention she’s happy.

She is the the absolute opposite from me and I find her basic and annoying and exhausting.

    • Lisa says:

Thank you!! Finally summed up what I am thinking. The music is just on another level of bad…I can’t even believe some listen her music, I can’t listen to any of her songs, she has no business being in music. Totally understand how her rich daddy bought her a music career, I just don’t understand how she became so big for being boring, silly, and true child woman or whatever she is. She looks like a squirrel, I mean she is not even good looking!?! WTF?! Please disappear Taylor we are sick of you

    • Redgrl says:

Aims – yes! Plus she looks like a Christmas reindeer. (Seriously. Saw a picture of her once standing next to a Rudolph the reindeer mascot and they have the same eyes & face – it was creepy).

  8. Dani says:

I don’t think she had a second boob job as in silicone implants, but I definitely think she got those injections in her boobs that have to get redone every 3 years. The same stuff the Kardashian’s use on their butts (the dr is Simon Ourian in LA, all his procedures are on his insta). It requires no downtime/recovery, which would make sense because she’s been all over the place lately, she would have had no time to heal and she’d need at least 2 weeks with implants.

    • maria says:

injections of what? ANd how does it work? you just have it injected into what? Soft tissue? Nothing to keep it where it is injected? Sounds scary

      • Harryg says:

        That really sounds hideous.

      • BTownGirl says:

That’s because there’s a lot of misinformation going on here. There IS a technique called fat transfer (which isn’t terribly reliable at this point), where the patient’s own fat is injected, but it is nigh-impossible to get that kind of increase all at once. The surgery is pretty intense and I highly, highly doubt she went ahead and had, like, five rounds of it. I’ve never heard of it having to be redone exactly every three years – it can take up to a year for the final result, at which point many patients find that a good portion of the fat didn’t take and their efforts have been for naught. I can assure you nothing about this procedure is “no downtime”, because the fat has to be harvested through liposuction, which is no cakewalk.

      • maria says:

BTwongirl thank you for the explanation. But I still think it sounds unsafe and experimental.

      • BTownGirl says:

There are definite issues with the procedure, I agree! Mainly because it’s anyone’s guess if it’s going to take at all (seriously, can you imagine going through all of that and winding up with, like, a 50cc increase?) and sometimes the fat can calcify, which isn’t dangerous per se, but feels icky and can show up as a false positive on a mammogram. It’s a “no thank you, ma’am!” for me personally as well…I don’t want the words “fat necrosis” anywhere near my chestral region.

    • gobo says:

Macrolane? I think that wears off after a year.

      • BTownGirl says:

Not used in the US (I believe it is still not FDA approved) and it’s use has been halted in the UK because of side-effects. Run screaming from any doctor in the US who claims to use it.

    • Dani says:

I’m really not sure what he uses, every picture on his instagram has like a description and stuff. It’s interesting, seemingly very low cost (which is probably because you need to touch it up). I’m just tossing around the idea that maybe that’s what she does. Never had it done, don’t have the ovaries to inject shit into my body.

      • BTownGirl says:

Let me say this, if there was a lower-cost, less-invasive, no downtime way to increase the size, every plastic surgeon on earth would be doing it, because they would be booked for the next century. The fact that they’re not tells you that it’s suspect and your ovaries are right in this case! 😉

      • maria says:

I don’t understand why people want big breasts. They are heavy, in the way and annoying. / 32 H

      • BTownGirl says:

Giiiiiiiiirl, I had a reduction from a 34DDD to a 34D and sometimes I wish I had more taken out haha! The grass is always greener, I tell you 😉

  9. margaret says:

Of couse she’s all natural but what’s about her last year’s boobs : http://photos.laineygossip.com/articles/swift-elle-style-25feb15-08.jpg

    • kay says:

those clever bathing suits! built in cups and pads that are so subtle they aren’t even there.
nope. no boob job(s) here. move along, and don’t forget your cup of kool-aid as you pass “go”.
thanks. (for that pic, that taytay will be able to explain away with sprinkles and unicorn horns, no doubt.)

  10. Squiggisbig says:

I think her boob job looks nice and fairly natural. But seriously Tay, don’t be like the kardashians, just don’t comment!

  11. Justine says:

It’s almost insulting. Do they think that we’re blind or something? It would be nice if tabloids would print something from a publicist or other rep, rather than unnamed sources. When did that become the norm?

  12. BengalCat2000 says:

Taymerica is so f@cking cheesy. I’ve always been neutral about her, but that crap is just embarrassing. Don’t care about her tits.

  13. Nicole says:

They are new boobs we are not stupid team taylor

  14. Talie says:

At one award show with Calvin, they literally looked stuck on.

  15. H says:

My niece got a boob job recently and she’s Taylor’s size and height. She went from an A cup to a C cup and it looks exactly like Taylor’s work. However difference is, my niece admits it and is not ashamed about it. Taylor needs to do that also. What’s the big deal?

    • Sarah says:

Just because Taylor doesn’t admit it to the world, it doesn’t mean she’s ashamed! Like what?
      How is it anyone’s business?
Should she tell us about her IUD or favourite tampon brand or whether she waxes or lasers her cooch? Her body, her choice, her business. Noone needs to justify or own up to anything.

      • Meryl says:

I agree with you, but then why would she even comment to falsely deny it in the first place?

      • Denise says:

“Noone needs to justify or own up to anything.”

        Agreed. But now she’s lying.

  16. Giest says:

Taylor made sure her people made that clear.
By the way, does anyone else’s comments disappear?

  17. Lynnie says:

I remember a comment on one of the previous threads asking why her boob job was such a big deal, a “let her live,” kinda thing and someone responded that if she had gotten some work done, great! What she wasn’t a fan of was that she’s got some very impressionable fans who might be reaching to have the perfect body a la Taylor, without realizing that Taylor had to pay for it, and that was irresponsible for Taylor to perpetuate by inadmision.

And I agree. This is reminding me of how Kylie did the same thing with her lips (and nowadays her body). I don’t know, self-image is a very big problem, and it irks me when people try to pass themselves off as natural or “goals” when they’re not. And then it irks me even more when I see young girls beat themselves up for not being “naturally” beautiful like them. Ugh, it’s just very depressing.

    • maria says:

+ 1. do whatever you want but don’t try to pass it off as natural if you have young fans. I was in my mid twenties when I got to know a photographer who told me every single model she had worked with had had work done. Tits, lips, lipo, some had their eyes done etc. No one was natural so to speak. And I was stunned, they all looked so naturally beautiful. To their credit the models never denied it.

    • burnsie says:

Totally agree with both of you guys. There’s so much pressure on women and girls as is

    • detritus says:

      I have company!
I know I was bitching about her fakies the other day.
I had to rescind because she never actually said ‘hey I don’t have fakies’, xcept today is a glorious day and her publicist did.
EXCELLENT. I love you Taytay but lets be real about the work. It’s ok. You’ve got good company, and the work is nice. Please don’t pretend you didn’t though. It screws with people’s ideas of what a non-surgically enhanced body looks like. Don’t be the thin Kim when it comes to body image and feminism.

    • Erinn says:

I don’t think she could win here. If she said she had work done – it’d be “Oh think of the children! Young girls are going to want to go under the knife because Taylor did”.

      • detritus says:

Erinn, just in case, please don’t take my sass as personal. I enjoy your comments and viewpoint, even if its the opposite of mine some times.

TBH I find the idea of normalizing surgery less upsetting. I tihnk mostly because of my idea that parents would be like – hells no you aren’t spending your college tuition on tits. Then again, there are the Shanna Moaklers of the world.

Do you think it would be worse if it normalized plastic surgery? Or normalized a body type people think is natural, but is only attainable through surgery?

I know a few people from Iran. Apparently it is common in some of the wealthier families to let the girls get their noses ‘fixed’ at an early age. This may just be the small subset of ladies I know though. That disturbs me as well.

      • Erinn says:

Thanks, Detritus – I hope I don’t come off as being too snarky either! It’s hard sometimes to know what kind of tone people are using just based on text.

I agree- we should be focusing on showing girls that there’s nothing WRONG with their bodies, and that what they see in the media isn’t something you can aspire to because it’s unrealistic. I think that should always be the goal – and it’s a good goal to be working on. I also think we need to equally work on how a lot of women get mocked or judged based on their surgery choices. I don’t give a rat’s butt if someone gets work done. I HOPE that they’re doing it for themselves, and not just to impress someone – but even if that’s what they’re doing, it’s not really my business.

But in the case of Taylor- I do think she’s too polarizing for her to be able to win either way. People LOVE to rip on her. Some of it is brought on by herself – sure. But a lot of it is based on assumptions and ‘sources’ – and that’s what I don’t think is fair. I really do think that if she had come out and said “yeah I got work done” a lot of people would be having an absolute field day, and saying she only did it for her bfs, or that she hates herself, or this or that.

      • detritus says:

I almost wish she would. Those discussions about plastic surgery are needed too, especially in conjunction with discussions on the pressures young women and men feel to be physically perfect. I think honest disclosure would solve a lot of issues.

Taylor can weather the storm the way a normal person, or even a normal famous person, wouldn’t be able. Creating a discussion on the value of modification and the public’s expectation of perfection from our performers – very valid topics. She’s not responsible for being a spokesperson for any issue though.

On a less serious note, I would love to control what some of these really influential young people say and measure the results in the coming years.
Even having access to some of the data from twitter and instagram would be really interesting.

      • BTownGirl says:

I agree! Also, I just don’t think it’s anyone’s business and no one “owes” anyone a full account of any cosmetic procedures they may have done. I don’t think she would be getting half as much shade thrown at her if she had just kept quiet and not issued a denial.

      • BTownGirl says:

@deritus “Or normalized a body type people think is natural, but is only attainable through surgery?”

In general, I agree with your comment, but I think it’s kind of dangerous to say certain body types can only come from surgery or imply that there is something problematic about them. There are women who are very thin with naturally very large breasts and just because that particular body type is one of our culture’s current ideal types doesn’t mean people should be looking askance at it. Kind of unfair, am I right? One thing I will say disturbs the hell out of me is the current trend towards teenagers getting labiaplasties, ostensibly because p*rn has taught them that there’s only one way for a woman to look. It’s one thing if there’s an actual physical problem (which absolutely can happen), but for aesthetics’ sake? At that age? Heck no. And I’ll judge the heck out of any parent that signs a consent form for that.

      • Lynnie says:

I can’t believe there are doctors willing to do that (labiaplasties on teenagers)… Just so many levels of wrong. All of the adults in those situations are massive failures.

      • BTownGirl says:

Agreed! If the parents are fools, it’s down to the doctor to shut that kind of thing down. Some teenagers are certainly mature enough for plastic surgery, but this one? No way, no how!

      • detritus says:

        @BTownGirl
Thank you for pointing that out, and I’m trying to be aware of it. I’ve made comments before about how it is possible to be like that naturally, it’s just very rare. I just didn’t add the disclaimer in this comment.

I find it hard to talk about spectrums and normalcy without sounding like an ass because of the inherent generalizations that occur when discussing deviations of a norm.

In my opinion it’s like this (random numbers picked for illustration)
There is 1/1000 women built like Taylor Swift.
There is 1/100 000 women built like Taylor with her new friends.
Then 4 of Taylors friends all get implants of a similar size, on similar body types.
Now we have 5/100 000 women presenting as if that was the original stat.
Except those 5 get more representation and media coverage than the others combined.

The labiaplasty just makes me all kinds of sad. There are something like 20 different types of labia, and only about 3 or 4 are considered ‘attractive’ by mainstream porn standards. Yet Ron Jeremy exists.

I think plastic surgeons need an independent psychologist to provide counsel for each client before participating. Unfortunately capitalism gets in the way of that. We wouldn’t want our surgeons making less money….

      • BTownGirl says:

Honestly, if we all ran around trying to add every disclaimer we need to nowadays (thank you, bro culture, we appreciate you messing everything up), we’d have no time to do anything else! Full disclosure, my boyfriend is a plastic surgeon and I did once ask him why a therapist’s okay isn’t mandatory (they’re only required for gender transitions, I believe) and he said that properly trained surgeons should be able to discern when someone isn’t a good candidate, even if they are telling falsehoods and trying to outwit their doctor. The problem comes in when someone who has no business having surgery goes to a doctor who either isn’t paying attention or doesn’t care, which thankfully is a lot more rare than people think it is (whew!). Basically, a surgeon who spends enough time with their patients and really listens when they ask about goals/expectations, shouldn’t miss anything. You wouldn’t believe how many patients your average plastic surgeon says no to in any given month and I find that very comforting!

      • Lynnie says:

Can I just say the conversation exchange between you and Detritus was one of the best I’ve witnessed in a long time. I learned a lot! Kudos to both of you 😊

      • detritus says:

        That is actually very comforting.
I think it is frequently the case where there are many good surgeons, who care deeply about the mental health of their patients, and a small few who do the most damage. Think of the one that did Heidi Montag’s whole body overhaul.

Good plastics do a long of incredibly important work – helping burn victims heal, providing prosthesis for children who need them, providing minimizing surgery for ladies who are having health issues. Glad to hear your honey is fighting the good fight.

That is actually the very reason I think an independent counsel is needed. Drs like your partner will not have their business effected one iota. They only serve those who are making well thought out choices. It’s the other surgeons that need to be curtailed. I think to add to the difficulty, surgeons are highly trained in surgery, not in therapy. While some may be naturally gifted and observant it is a very different skill set.

@Lynnie, thank you. I love Celebitchy most because you can learn a lot from the different folk on here. I appreciate your thoughts on these things too.

      • BTownGirl says:

Awwwwww Lynnie and Deritus, y’all are making my day 🙂 D, girl, I actually teared up a little bit – I’m a mushy type hehe! Thank you so much for your kind words! Sooooo true about the shifty ones spoiling it for everyone – it’s crazy, because I highly, highly doubt that the patients would have any kind of a problem with it, so heck, why not do it? I’m down…personally, I’ll take any opportunity to complain/talk about myself! 😉

p.s. Did I mention you guys are awesome?! Because you are *CB Group Hug*

  18. KHLBHL says:

I’ve always wondered – are there any ramifications to blatantly lying to the press like this? I mean, Taylor is one thing. Lots of people lie about plastic surgery. I guess she’s not a political candidate, so it doesn’t matter in the end. Why do celebrities admit to getting plastic surgery, if they can just lie? If you get it done well, no one will notice. Right? Western society does not look upon plastic surgery approvingly. People just assume and, rather, demand that you will look beautiful and thin and young forever and ever naturally, through superior genetics alone. So why admit to anything if you can get away with it? That’s probably what Taylor thinks.

  19. Yodel-lay-hee-hoo says:

I used to be an exotic dancer, and during my years spinning around that pole, I learned more about boob jobs than I ever wanted to know. We used to do very detailed boob comparisons back stage, and over time you develop a very appraising eye.

So take it from this Sugar Bowl Fairy:

    These. Are. Fake. Boobs.

That, and she did do fairly recent work on them, most likely a touch up on an unsatisfactory boob job.

Fwiw, boob jobs are hard to get just right. You have to factor in how your body adjusts, and that is not an exact science. They don’t have to be redone or touched up necessarily, but if you are very picky about exactly how you want them to look (and I suspect Taylor harbors enough self-hatred to be the perfectionist control freak in pretty much all things) it is common to do this.

By the way, I don’t have an attitude about plastic surgery. You want to have work done? Do it! It’s your body. But I HATE it when people lie. It just contributes to the body-shaming and overall self-hatred in our culture.

    • antipodean says:

@Yodel, I loved your comment, and found it very interesting. I bet you have some fabulous stories to tell, I wish you would, maybe write a book? I am always puzzled by the fascination with boobs, it seems like women view them like their hair, in that they are never quite as they would like them, too big, too small, etc. And men just view them as attachments to slaver over. I suppose it’s because I have a more practical view, in that they did their job and fed my daughter for eighteen months, and have kept out of my way the rest of the time. I have a yearly mammogram, and apart from that pay them no further mind. Am I unusual in that? Maybe I just don’t get it. I always like to think it is what is between my ears that makes me interesting and attractive, and I have always faced the world like that. It has served me well up until now, anyways.

      • Veronica says:

Well, men fret over the size of their dicks and biceps, so I don’t necessarily think it’s just women being self-depreciating here. (I also don’t think men view them are purely attachments – body standards suggest men have VERY specific ideas of what kind of breasts are slaver-worthy.) Breasts are a part of the female body, sure, but they also contribute to our sense of physical sexuality, and in a society that says big boobs and small waistlines is the beauty standard, it’s not surprising women feel lacking if they’re on the smaller side. Breasts are easy to take for granted, but there’s a reason why health insurance covers breast jobs in the case of mastectomy – our sense of physical and sexual wholeness is important to our psychological health.

    • detritus says:

I really enjoyed your perspective Yodel. I was shocked when I first realized how many people had their breasts done, and how few actually cop to it.

Antipodean – I get what you are saying. I’ve heard ladies say they don’t want to breastfeed because their nipples are for sexy-time only. It’s very confusing, since that is their biological purpose, but I get the very real concern about biology and maternity, and sexuality.

    • teacakes says:

Thanks for your perspective, Yodel, I think you’re right that to some degree, plastic surgery (and boob jobbing) is an art and that’s why a lot of people get theirs wrong. And I also agree that there shouldn’t be this culture of shame around cosmetic surgery, it fucks people’s heads up.

  20. shelly says:

Her face is quite immobile too, I wonder if she’s had Botox, and how long before TH is persuaded to iron out some of his wrinkles.

  21. Frexit says:

Eh, no. She’s had the fakes for a while. And while she’s most definitely put on weight recently which could partially explain why they’re so noticeable now I also think she got them touched up recently

  22. K.C. says:

    HAHAHA. Oh Taylor, c’mon.

It doesn’t matter in the slightest what she wants to do with her body. She looks great. But “sources” going out of their way to lie about it is just weird and silly. She likes the fact that she can go bra-less and they’re still perky? What kind of quote is that? LOL.

Edit: Actually, want to note that it is no one’s business whether she got implants or not, and I suppose she has every right to keep that to herself. But if that’s the case, I feel like staying quiet is better than having a “source” debunk the claims.

  23. Gardenia says:

They look much better now, rounder and less wonky. Her first implants were terrible. But yes yes she absolutely has implants. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. If they make her feel better about herself, God bless.

  24. Sure Jan says:

She totally got another boob job. But what if this denial was put out because she wants people to think those are pregnancy boobs?

    • detritus says:

      Oof I love this conspiracy.
She’s prob pissed because Jennifer Aniston gets pregnancy rumours every day after eating lunch. She got new boobs and started eating 1500 cals a day instead of 1200, why is no one speculating!

    • ClĂ©mence says:

      Yeah ! I think u got a point here !!!

  25. Kate says:

She didn’t just get implants, she got outdated, insanely obvious round 90’s porn star implants. There’s no denying it when you purposely choose the most fake looking implants available.

It’s like when Victoria Beckham kept denying she had implants even when the things were so rock hard you could see the full outline beneath her skin. Who do they think they’re kidding? If you want people to think you’re all natural, get natural looking work done.

    • LadyLoo says:

Or just be natural. That’s another option. But being natural and non-manufactured isn’t really Swift’s thang.

  26. err says:

Is there something specific besides the size that makes people think she had a boob job? I’m her build and her age, and my boobs fluctuate between a medium B and a D depending on whether I gain 5-10 pounds (which she looks to have done in the past year). Hell, my boobs fluctuate between a B and a C on a monthly basis depending what part of my cycle I’m in.

    • Arpeggi says:

Breast size will change and boobs will grow way past your growth spur, that’s true. I stopped getting “taller” around 14 (5’4, eurgh), yet, I had D cups at 18 and E at 25 (thank god they then stopped growing!). But this takes time, it’s still a slow process! Taylor went from small Bs to a very full C/small D in the course of months. So yes, they are fake.

      • err says:

Hmm, for me it can happen within the space of two months! Just depends on how much shit I’m eating, haha. I have gone back and forth between B and D at least 5 times since entering my twenties.

    • LadyLoo says:

Yes, how her ‘fluctuation’ time happened once and happened in the blink of an eye.

    • Erica_V says:

Err – I’m with you. I have 2 different sets of bras. One C set for when I’m not on my period and one D set for when I am. I fluctuate a full cup size over the course of a few days.

Aka I don’t think she got her boobs done.

    • J. says:

Yeah, I think she probably did get a boob job, but when I was her age (before I had kids), I had really firm perky boobs that fluctuated between B and D naturally. I have the same build as Taylor, too – tall and thin. I rarely wore bras in my twenties. Now they are like sad, deflated balloons. Womp, womp.

    • teacakes says:

“Is there something specific besides the size that makes people think she had a boob job?”

Yes, the fact that the outlines of her implants have been visible through the skin of her boob, once in that white cutout jumpsuit she wore to the Billboard awards. I doubt natural breasts end up showing the disc-shaped edge of an implant in naked skin…

    • Veronica says:

I’m fortunate that mine stay pretty balanced to my body, but an addition of 10-15 pounds will definitely knock me up a cup size. Periods will cause some swelling that might push me up another half cup, but it wasn’t really an issue until I was on BC. I got knocked into a size I’d never been before, even when I’d been significantly heavier. Hormones are weird.

  27. Christin says:

Every day, I am more convinced she could be LeAnn’s long lost younger sister.

Give it 5 years and she’ll be on a movie set snatching up a z-list dimpled actor. Seriously, a lot about TS reminds me of the other teenage singing star turned tabloid fodder.

  28. LadyLoo says:

New fake bewbs to go with her new fake relationship. Yaaaaaa – everything’s nice and shiny – including her new boyfriend’s five-head!

Could be a ten-head at this point.

  29. MI6 says:

Yeah, right. They’re real just like her “love” for Hiddles.

  30. hplupoi says:

If we are going to question Taylor’s boobs, can we not ask why her hair is a hot mess? I hate it. It looks terrible

    • LadyLoo says:

Taylor Swift is not wearing a wig, she’s “always liked her broke-a$$ hair.”

  31. Sarah B says:

So we can’t point out or comment on someone’s nipples but we can constantly question her breasts and whether they’re natural or not?

    • joanne maas says:

very good point. why is one wrong and the other one fair game?

    • Erinn says:

Because the first situation is about someone a lot of posters are either neutral about, or like. And the second is about someone who most don’t like. I genuinely think it’s about that simple.

      • Kitten says:

        ^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^

      • teacakes says:

no, more like…. everyone has nipples. Everyone doesn’t have suddenly-bigger boobs that they insist are totally real and not the product of surgical intervention.

    • detritus says:

I can’t speak for others, but for myself, nipples are something usually everyone has.
Implants aren’t on a standard model.
It’s an interesting intersection of plastic surgery, social expectations and public image.

In addition, Taylor is only repping other thin, rich, white women. Serena, Ariel, even Kim are poster girls for more non traditionally ‘hot’ body types. Taylor also never gets called (on here) gross and slutty for her bits, enhanced or otherwise. I would get lippy if someone was calling her a gross hooker for getting her surgeries too.

BTW – I actually like Taylor more than either Kim or Ariel, both of whom I have previously vehemently supported.

    • OhDear says:

Because sometimes nipples poke out – it happens normally. In contrast, as someone said above, Swift has a lot of young (and maybe older) fans who are likely to beat up on themselves because their bodies are not “naturally beautiful” like Taylors.

    • Veronica says:

I think it’s more the ongoing of criticism of Serena Williams that detracts from her overall athletic performance. And really, I don’t even care if we commented on her nipples – it’s the fact that people COMPLAINED TO THE BBC that blew my mind.

  32. TOPgirl says:

Of course she got a boob job. What else is new on her?

  33. KiddVicious says:

Does she also deny her nose job too, or has she admitted to that?

  34. Amanda G says:

I’m surprised she hasn’t plumped up her rear end yet.

  35. Solo says:

I think I remember when they were first done and she was papped at Victoria’s Secret. As if investing in some padded push up bras would explain it.

    Just admit it Tay.

  36. kri says:

FFS are we really supposed to believe those things are home grown?! It’s okay. You got a rack installed. It’s not like you had a whirlwind romance with a wannabe James Bond or had a Taymerica slide in your yard or something crazy. Give her a break, girl squad leaders just wanna have fun, you guys!!

  37. Phoebe says:

Insert the *WHY YOU ALWAYS LYIN’* guy meme here.

  38. Tiny Martian says:

Taylor has “always liked her breasts.”

If that were true, then why did she replace them? Or is she just talking about her current set? She should like them, she certainly got her money’s worth!

  39. Neoz says:

Check out Taylor’s “Out of the Woods” video. She’s in a low cut dress to show off her cleavage, and her boobs look like two round tennis balls stuck to her chest.

The implants could not be more obvious.

  40. Silvie says:

I can’t wait for this untalented little witch’s 15 minutes to end. Maybe she’s generous to her fans whose weddings she attends for photo ops, but she’s doing a great deal of damage to young women around the world by parading her #squad around as if that’s an ideal normal people can achieve. Go away, Taylor. Maybe your mommy and daddy can buy you a career doing something else.

  41. Twinkle says:

    So fake

  42. Wood Dragon says:

During a rather painful mammogram about four years ago, I asked the technician that if it was so excruciating for a natural person like me to undergo it, what must it be like for women with breast implants? This was her actual quote:
    “If they only knew…”
Then she told me how much harder it is to find cancer during a mammogram when there are implants in the way and therefore a much more excruciating ordeal.
I have had a lumpectomy which left me with a ugly little tuck under my right breast. I was told I could get reconstructive surgery, but I opted to just leave it alone for fear that if cancer came back after me, they wouldn’t be able to find it immediately.
Sooooo, have fun with those mammograms there, Taylor.

  43. Veronica says:

I get that it’s a double edged sword because she’d get criticized either way, but I’d rather women just own it. The more honest we are about what it takes to look that good, the less we’ll have young women struggling with self-esteem trying to attain an impossible standard. Besides, it’s your body – do what you want with it.

I don’t think the boob job was necessarily bad work, just that she has a very small frame and it’s difficult to give implants the softness of natural adipose tissue when there isn’t natural padding there. Most of the women I know who have really good work had at least a little something there.

    • Ennie says:

Absolutely true, Veronica. TS i every lean, so when she is at her low weight, the implants are more obvious. I used to watch that HW plastic surgeon show, and they showed very slim women wanting implants and even if they convoked them to not go too big, they sometimes looked very artificial.
I do not mind her, I find funny how people really hate or “semi”hate TS.

    • Pepper says:

She got a really fake shape though. You can kind of get away with completely round implants if you’re going from a C to a DD. It’ll still look pretty fake naked, but in clothes or a bikini it just looks like the work of a good push up bra.

If you’re flat chested, you need a more natural teardrop shape. Kate Hudson is a good example of that. After her kids she was almost completely flat chested, much more so than Taylor. She got implants that are the actual shape of her boobs, and they look natural. If we hadn’t seen her before there’d be no reason to think they’re fake. They’re perky, but they sit like natural boobs.

Taylor chose to get a shape and positioning that people only get these days if they specifically ask for the blow-up doll look.

  44. Taylor was an A cup from what I remember of her years ago. I had to go back & look up old pics and a video from when she was 20-years-old, ‘I’m Only Me When I’m With You’ and she was a flatsy patsy & looks like a solid A cup. I don’t know why she or her reps would try & deny her obvious implants when she has been famous since she was 16. Just silly.

  45. Ramona Q. says:

It’s possible the source meant she didn’t get a 2nd surgery, she always liked the results of her first surgery. Anyway that red bikini is awful.

  46. nycgirl25 says:

I think that these celebrities are only fooling themselves. It is clear as day, if you compare photos of a particular person, that they had surgery. You cannot hide weight gain, you can’t really deceive surgeries.

It just shows insecurity, I think, but in today’s celebrity world, it is quite common. Seems sort of extreme or desperate, to have a medical procedure to look busty.
