In Touch Weekly’s cover story this week is an obvious one - “Brad Takes The Kids” in huge, bold all-caps. It’s as if In Touch’s editors know they’re making something up, so they’re just to cover up their lie with a headline that should read “Lalalala… I can’t hear you!”
The story seems overwhelmingly based on Brad’s recent trip to Niagara Falls with his oldest sons Pax and Maddox, and his parents Bill and Jane. You see, Angelina didn’t go with them to Niagara Falls. Thus “Brad Takes The Kids”… to Niagara Falls. So, In Touch is still beating the drum that Brad and Angelina will split any minute now, and the purpose of the cover story is to try to figure out what’s going to happen with the kids. Who will get custody? Why is Angelina yelling at Brad all the time? Is Brad worried about his children’s welfare if he - gasp - unceremoniously dumps Angelina? Just so everyone’s caught up, the article starts out talking about how depressed Brad was at Niagara Falls:
[While] Brad was clearly trying to make it a fun day for the boys - and his visiting parents, Bill and Jane - there was no missing the sadness etched into his face.
At a breaking point in his relationship with Angelina Jolie, “Brad is finding this time so much tougher than his divorce [from Jennifer Aniston],” says a confidante. “With Jen, it was just the two of them, but with Angie, there are six kids involved.”
“He knows that he and Angie are over,” the confidante shares. “They try to be civil, but they rarely speak these days without it erupting into a screaming match.”
Spending most of his time [with their kids] - and as little time with Angelina - Brad is trying to figure out what would happen if he had to share custody of the children.
But that may be easier said than done. According to the confidante, Angelina has threatened that she won’t give up the kids without a fight: “He’s worried the kids are picking up on that.”
Brad’s parents, Jane and Bill, are aware of the severe rift [between Brad and Angelina]… even though there’s no love lost between them and Angelina, they are urging him to work things out with Angie so that he can still play a role in his children’s lives.
“Jane has been telling Brad, ‘Those kids are what’s important, not you or Angie,’” the confidante says. But though Brad “knows she’s right,” adds the source, he also understands that he can’t stay in such an unhappy relationship - and it’s upsetting him deeply.
And during the Niagara Falls trip, Angelina was conspicuously absent. Angelina - who was shooting in Albany, NY - could have easily made the trip to the falls to join them for the day, but she “bailed out” a family friend says.
“She’s not about to just hand him the six kids. She will fight for full custody , and she’ll fight to the end.”

Obviously, that’s not the complete article. There was some more stuff about Angelina being a shrew, and Brad being a wishy-washy moron, but you get the point. In Touch also brought Dr. Gilda Carle back in to talk more about the Jolie-Pitt kids, whom she’s never met. Some will remember Dr. Gilda as the f*cking genius from a previous In Touch story about Brad flying to France alone to get away from Angelina. Dr. Gilda seemed to think at the time that if Brad and Angelina weren’t photographed together, they weren’t together at all, and “that must be very confusing for the children.” I’m not making that up!
In the end of this week’s article, Dr. Carle is once again brought in, this time to discuss whether or not the kids will ever recover from Brad walking out. Dr. Gilda Carle, in her infinite wisdom, says, “They call him Daddy, The whole family believes he is the father… The kids are no doubt going to be disoriented if they split.” Could the kids believe that Brad is their father because he is their father, Dr. Gilda? Oh, but I know what she’s really saying… she’s saying that because three of the children are adopted, Brad’s not their real father, and they won’t be as upset as the biological kids. I hope Dr. Gilda gets whatever banana republic college psychology degree revoked immediately.

Brad is busy with the kids, MIR, and other things. NO interviews yet when blogs and magazines print stories it is their fault..

It’s sort of like Aniston and the baby. If they keep printing it someday it may well come true, then they can say they were right. If BP/AJ are together they’re playing it up for the cameras. As opposed to Angelina, Brad was a stable guy, and a social guy who has friends and close to his parents, so the kids get to have grandparents.
IF the children with Brad they might have a chance at a healthy stable life with school and social routines with other children at their age group.
I do hope he is going to get the children and that they will finally stop being dragged from one country to another photo op and interviews.

How is she supposed to be in two places at the same time? Considering that four of the kids didn’t go I don’t see how Angelina’s absence was a big deal. I’m baffled as to why people keep believing these breakup rumors considerig tabloids have been saying this for 4 years. You know, even if they were to someday split, the gossip rags would have a collective orgasm and the madness would still continue. I hate hearing about their every mundane move (Who gives a crap that they went grocery shopping? Do we really need photos of them entering and exiting every building they are in? Seriously wtf? The levels of attention they receive can be downright stalkerish and creepy sometimes.) but have accepted that it is probably not ever going to end. The “triangle” story is still the dead horse being beaten four years later, so I can imagine all the countless years of BS stories regarding a Brangelina split.

I expect she’ll suggest at some point that the way to solve the (supposed) custody issue is to cut each child in half and divide out the pieces. Personally, I believe they should do it alphabetically: Knox, Maddox & Pax in one corner and Shiloh, Viv and Zee in the other. And Angie gets to pick first since A comes before B. Job done.

People mag quote when a certain separation was announced, “They had decided to separate a while ago,” Cagle says but points out the couple had already planned this island vacation and went ahead with it. No separation date was included on Jen’s divorce petition when she filed and she later said the marriage was over in the summer of 2004. It’s 2009 move on.

Jen told RogerF then at Fox that she went to the 2004 Troy NYC premiere with her ex because it seemed to right thing to do at the time (important to note that Troy was produced by Plan B which Jen owned a small slice of at that time), that marriage reached terminal status in 2004. Truth happens to be that it is not easy to split when mutually much loved and wanted kids are involved, couples will fight to keep relationship intact. It is 2009 move on.

Oh Neddie, Brad’s career is red hot, back like it was before his dark days from 2000-2004 when he practically abandoned making movies. He is getting award recognition as he has never had before in his career the last couple of years. Those kids both go to school and are homeschooled, have plenty of friends, and most importantly for them are always with their parents. And social life for a 7, 5, 4, 2, and two 9 months old, LOL. Who are you to tell anyone how to raise their kids?

The older kids are in school right now on Long Island, a very prestigious private school as a matter of fact. I do believe that the youngest 2 are a bit young for school yet, really. Brad’s career is doing just fine, for the first time ever he was nominated for all the major awards for CCOBB, and the film has made around $330 mil worldwide. Angelina is a great mom and the six kids are hers as well as his.

As far as their kids are concerned since non of us have been in their home or really seen them in private how is it possible to comment on the stability of their home. You know nothing. Media ***** I think not. Most of you if you are honest can count the number of time we have seen their kids. They seem to be a happy family. And how they chose to raise their kids in really no ones business. People in this country seem to think that they have a right to judge how other people live. Perhaps you all who are being critical should mind your own business, and if not use you same eagle eye of criticism on other celebs too. But then they are not Brad/Angie..
