The big Star Trek Beyond premiere was last night to kick off the San Diego Comic Con. Most of the men and women treated the premiere like it was a really big deal, and they wore proper suits and gowns and couture. But not Forever Bae Idris Elba! If Idris is going to a San Diego premiere, he’s going to wear shorts and light blouse. Because he’s Idris Elba, damn it, and he can wear whatever he wants and still be the hottest guy on the carpet. As for Idris, he’s been hitting the promotional trail pretty hard. It’s sad that he keeps getting questions about James Bond, but he has to realize at this point that he’s not getting the questions because people are truly curious. He’s getting the questions because EVERYONE thinks he would be an incredible Bond, and no one can understand why the decision hasn’t already been made. Just do NOT kill off the character. Let him have gotten a promotion and be off exploring the an amazing far off galaxy. Give him the happy ending he deserved in real life. 🙁

It’s crazy. I read that story too. There were a couple of black men killed by cops and there were a few cops killed by black men who were upset over the shootings. now I think the cops have it in their head, even more than before, that black men are dangerous. Sad really. I am just so glad this time, the black man was wounded instead of killed. There have been many shootings of black men by cops and people are fed up. Rightfully so. You don’t see white men getting killed by the cops all the time.
