Some of us have been a little bit worried about Joshua Jackson now that he’s single and ready to mingle. Joshua and Diane Kruger announced their split a few weeks back, although many (including me) believe that they’ve been on the rocks for months, ever since Diane not-so-allegedly was seen hooking up with Norman Reedus. I tend to believe Kruger and Reedus are still dealing with each other in same way, just as I believe that Joshua and Diane still mostly get along – he even dropped her off at LAX and they embraced as they said goodbye. So, everyone’s acting like a mature adult. So that’s nice. But what if Joshua has some kind of jump-off too? What if Joshua has been quietly spending time with his costar Ruth Wilson? Rosé all day! The Affair costars Joshua Jackson and Ruth Wilson spent an entire summer afternoon-into-evening sipping rosé and hanging outdoors at Gemma restaurant at NYC’s Bowery Hotel on Monday, August 22. The pair, who play ex-spouses on the hit Showtime series, grabbed a table at 3 p.m. and ordered cheese and charcuterie, according to an eyewitness. They were chatting and toasting with their wine and stayed at the eatery for a whopping eight hours!
Jackson seemed to be in a great mood as he smiled and took photos with fans throughout the day. When the duo got up to leave, he thanked the waiter and gave him a big hug. According to an onlooker, Jackson kissed Wilson on the top of the head, and they headed to a hotel together around 11 p.m.
An eight-hour date with Joshua Jackson? Wine, charcuterie and a hotel? Yes, please. Although I have to say, eight-hour dates are not for everyone. At some point, don’t you run out of things to say to each other? I guess that’s where the wine comes in. Eight hours sober, you would run out of things to say to each other. Eight hours of wine, you would never run out of things to say to each other. So, was this a date-date or just two good friends enjoying each other’s company, and maybe hooking up a little bit? Hm.

Not quite the same if Joshua’s ‘Jump off’ cane AFTER he and Diane split up, whereas Diane’s hookup allegedly came BEFORE they split up.
I mean, I’m glad they are all acting like adults and being friendly and whatnot…but in my mind its two completely different things…
I didn’t really follow this–but if she cheated, they broke up, etc…..why would they see each other off at the airport? I think that’s odd for someone who was cheated on, especially when they weren’t married and had no kids.
No idea, tbh. there was just a loads of coverage of her being seen hooking up with the Norman Reedus fellow while they were still, as far as media were concerned, together. I mean, no one knows what really happened or when it happened etc…
Having said that, lots of couples remain close friends regardless of how/why they split up. My brother and his ex-gf are super close friends, despite the fact that they split up after she cheated on his. his explanation – the spark had fizzled and they were more best friends than anything else; what she did was wrong yes, but not worth losing his best friend over. Shrug.
My guess is that they said they would remain friends. Maybe they had things to settle, they built a house together recently apparently, and wanted to part on friendly terms.
They were photographed a week or so ago, buying wine and walking together to a car. Joshua and Diane, I mean. It didnt look like exes who are overcoming cheating to remain friends. I suspect that whatever went down with Norman, it wasn’t cheating by classic definition. They may not have been a couple at the time or they werent exclusive or were on a break….
OMG my ass would get so sore sitting that long! Especially in a restaurant chair. Oh and wow I just looked at the pics, they’re both smoking cigarettes! WTH? I understand that actors, both genders, need to nearly starve to stay camera-thin, but at least use an ecig no? I will give Leo some credit for having enough brains to do that. Not to mention a sense of smell.

On reading comments elsewhere, the drinks and a meal was after work. They went to a reading of their episode, that has just started filming, and this was afterwards. There are pics on the Affair twitter apparently of the reading. All the cast get on really well together and this was probably the first time they’ve seen each other since filming finished last year on season 2. Probably had a big catch up. They are good friends, but all the main four cast are.
well, AFTER the drinks and meal, Josh and Ruth went to a hotel together.
Nobody knows what happened there. They good have easily spent the night together.
And BTW: The best relationships start as friends!

I should have read down a bit further before commenting. I didn’t really get Jane Eyre until I saw their version. Perhaps it is because they have always cast ridiculously beautiful people before. Those two were so real and so passionate. I would watch it again, but I have already watched it this month.

Not trying to body shame or whatever, maybe it’s just bad pictures but it’s like her lips curl up all around her mouth and it looks really strange. Part of the reason I fell in love with my husband was that we never, ever run out of things to say to each other, even after hours or days in each others company. We’ve been together 8 years, married for 7, and parents for 5, and we just talk talk talk to each other about everything-work, family, politics…he even keeps up with celebrity gossip for me, and I’ve learned more about beer production (his main clients are breweries) than I ever thought possible. The man willingly talks about the most hated company in America (where I work) day in and day out…
I think Ruth is so adorable. She’s not what I would call a classic beauty, but there is something so arresting and attractive about her face. So, get it Josh. If the rumors were true and Diane was grinding all over Norman Reedus, it probably doesn’t hurt his ego either.
Aww that sounds just like me and my husband. We talk all the time, Especially my husband. He is the one who talks and talks and talks. He asks questions, he reads things to me, and if I don’t have anything to say on the subject he will just keep switching them until he finds something I will engage in. It’s quite endearing. It works for us.
I agree about Ruth – she’s not traditionally ‘pretty’ but she’s far more distinctive and second-look-at-able than several people who are. There’s something about her, all right.
My 17 year old daughter has had her first boyfriend for a few months– tall, nice looking, sweet, couldn’t say a bad thing about him. But recently she’s been talking about a guy a year younger than her, her height (5’10”), and my sense is they just spark off each other, talk, have a lot of fun. I think she’s learning a good lesson–go for the person you like, not the person you’ve been told you should like.
I know people think she’s weird looking, but I find her very striking, especially when she smiles. Different strokes, etc.
Although she looks a bit puffier lipped in the top pic than from what I remember her being. Hopefully it’s just lipliner/gloss.

They did a play together late last/early this year and he spoke in a way that was as if he had a serious thing for her. It seemed cute at first but the more he spoke, the more I wondered.

I don’t get what has happened here. As Pacey he was such a baby-faced dweeb and I never really found him attractive, especially/ even with such a bombshell as Diane Kruger by his side. Yet suddenly, older, with some little squint lines and a beard, he seems downright sexxaayy. Kinda not fair how some men get so much hotter with age. I bet he’ll be screen-melting with a little grey at the temples
