I care not one iota about these two, but I absolutely agree that divorce is always most difficult on the children, and I am sorry these kids will have to go through that (especially in such a public way).
I think that whole “…request that the media respect their family’s privacy…” is just something the PR companies automatically tack on to any such announcement.
I’m sure Katie will be on a talk show ASAP discussing the break-up in morbid detail.

Its been obvious from day 1 that she was his faghag, cue lots of interviews from both sides (double the usual money) followed by a brief reconciliation (loads more cash) followed by split up again and him finally coming out. Yawn

I really hope that they both treat the divorce as mature adults as there are children involved. Especially since there is a child with special needs as it could be extremely detrimental to Harvey. I’m always sad to see people divorce no matter what I think of them personally.
