Amber Heard has been in London shooting Justice League, but for what it’s worth we’ve seen Ben Affleck back in LA recently, so it looks like the cast is getting breaks to go home. It’s just that Amber no longer has a home in LA after Johnny took possession of their condo as part of their divorce settlement. Johnny’s settlement to Amber was $7 million, which would have gone a long way toward securing her a new place to live except she gave it all to charity. (Then Johnny donated it “on her behalf,” because he had to have the last word and get the tax break, even though that went against the terms of their settlement. I wonder if there are still negotiations happening behind the scenes or if Amber just decided to let it go.) We can’t be too sad for Amber, she’s got that Justice League money coming in soon, but she’s also not in the best place. She doesn’t have a place in LA yet and she can’t even get her clothes or things out of her condo because Johnny won’t let her have access to them – at least according to Star Magazine. Given whom we’re talking about and how he’s behaved so far, I believe this.
“Amber has nowhere to live when she returns to California,” says a friend, adding that not only has Amber not found a place – or even started looking – but she also doesn’t have any possessiont to put in a new pad anyway. “All she’s got are the clothes she took to London – Johnny won’t let her back in their house to get any of her things.”
And while she’s still a boldfaced name, her bank balance isn’t so A-list.
“She’s pretty much broke. She could have used that big settlement, but she was too proud to take it,” explains the source. “So until her Justice League paycheck comes in, she’s going to be couch surfing with friends.”

I wish Amber just would have kept that $7 million and/or only donated a portion of it to charity. I know people say it’s an insane amount of money, and it is to us plebes, but in her social circles it’s not and was relatively small compared to Depp’s net worth. He owns an island, $7 million isn’t a ton of money to him but it would have helped Amber. Remember that she made just $51,000 last year after taxes. Sure she probably had a great accountant to help her get a lot of deductions but she’s not insanely wealthy. Her motivation wasn’t money it was her own safety and well being. Donating that money to charity was an incredible gesture but she’s never going to win over the people who irrationally hate her for being abused by Johnny Depp and showing evidence. There are always going to be a contingent of people for which no amount of evidence or facts are enough. We’re seeing that play out in the US elections this year and it’s horrifying (although occasionally funny).

Yeah, I don’t either. She had a good lawyer. I’m sure part of the settlement was an arrangement to retrieve her things, either directly or through a third party. I’m thinking she would have made that happen before she signed.
Me either. I could totally see him being vindictive like that, but he was out of the country for quite some time while she was still in LA, there was ample time to move her belongings out, and I toothink the timing would be part of the settlement.
I thought he moved out? It was well reported that she called the cops on him when he sent a van to collect his things back in June.

I don’t buy this either. Even if he’s being a dick (likely,) the police will often accompany an individual to get their possessions. Her lawyer would have made arrangements. This sounds more like a story to drum up sympathy as there were photos of her recently moving out with boxes. They’e been separated a while now, you would think she would have found a place to live by now, like most adults.

Exactly. I don’t know about other states, but in California, everything is spelled out to the letter. I know from hard experience, and with far fewer resources than Amber. If certain possessions were hers, then her lawyers would arrange for Sheriff’s deputies (not local police, it’s a jurisdictional thing) to retrieve what was signed off by the Court. This story is total BS.

I’ve always wondered why Amber donated the entire settlement. Taking into account she only made $51,000 the previous year & her expenses exceeded that amount it made no sense to me. She is making it somehow so optics alone appear to show money is not an issue. She may or may not be receiving a weekly paycheck actors don’t necessarily get paid the way below the line employees do. I imagine as long as she is filming she is receiving a per diem and her lodging is paid by the production. Also her per diem is likely significant, i.e., not $15/day to cover lunch.
In addition to good intentions, I think she was also trying to combat the gold digger accusations.
Her friend Raquel had pictures on her instagram around the time the condos were given back to him of her moving things out of the place. She was standing in front of a lot of boxes, so this sounds like bs.
What she really needs is a financial adviser or to read up on how to take care of money because when she released her financial records it showed she lives well beyond her means and doesn’t know how to manage things. So even the JL movie money won’t be enough since she has no idea how not to over do things.
Also he doesn’t own the yacht anymore, he sold it ages ago.
What she really needs is to earn her own money, she is young, healthy, single and pretty she needs to support herself rather than be on constant lookout for the next free meal ticket.

If she’s a golddigger, she’s not a very good one — giving away your divorce settlement is the opposite of looking for a free meal ticket.

If this is true; 1. Drop remains garbage (true with way; and
2. Her lawyers suck!!! Retrieving possessions should have been worked out in the settlement! Either way they need to raise hell about it.

Sort of tangential, but as a fundraiser for a nonprofit child-welfare agency, $7 million is more than a gesture. Even split out in payments divided among recipients, that kind of money can be transformative. I can’t tell you what that kind of money would do for our kids. Send ’em all to college, rent apartments for homeless teens, the possibilities are staggering. She’ll be fine and she did a truly wonderful thing.
Johnny depp is an as$#ole but I think Amber moved way before their settlement, back in July. In the docs for her lawsuit to Johnny’s friend , there was a “change of address” back in July. So I think she decided way ago that she wanted nothing from Johnny.
But I agree with you I wish she didn’t were so “proud” and so “stubborn” and would have take at least half of the money to grant a good home or a good life for her. Or to battle for the penthouse, Johnny was offering it to her back in June for to drop the RO and sign the NDA but I guess she didn’t want to live in the place he abused her and now it’s for sale.
You are very wrong here. She was the one who was asking for the penthouses plus spousal support and other things in order not to file a RO. He said no. That was the letter his lawyers were gonna use as extortion evidence.He never offered the house to her.

and in other articles also at TMZ its mentioned too that Johnny offered what she asked in exchange of the mutual restraining order, which she refused to sign and in the documents from his lawyer its mentions (like an extortion!!!) that she had to sign a NDA

I agree with others that this should have been worked out at some point. My question is, has she tried to arrange a time to get those things or did she just decide to go over and get them with no notice. If I had gotten out of an abusive relationship I would not want the other person there when trying to retrieve my things. When I divorced I told my ex to pick a day to get his things but he was not allowed just to show up.
I saw that Depp was selling the penthouse in The Hollywood Reporter. It looks like he bought the units in ’07 when he was still with Vanessa, so I don’t think Amber would have been entitled to the apartments. And if he owned them for years pre-Amber, I would guess that most of the furnishings were purchased by Depp as well. There was an article about him spending $66k (!!!) on antique chairs made from oil barrels back in ’12, which you can see in the listing pics, so I don’t think she actually owned much other than her clothes/personal effects.
And this was interesting about the apartment from THR:

Considering the kitchen in the drunk Depp video looks entirely different, I’m wondering if they lived separately during the marriage. Maybe he lived in the Hollywood Hills compound with his kids and she lived in the downtown loft? Strange.

I never referenced her injuries, the cell phone, etc. Nowhere did I say anything referencing Amber or any of her friends’ sides of the story. The quote from the Hollywood Reporter was from a resident of the condo building, not anyone in Amber’s circle. Also, the first part of my comment was halfway defending Depp by saying that Amber is NOT entitled to most everything she asked for originally because he owned it long before marriage. So I think you’ve got the wrong person.

I can’t believe anyone is buying this crud. She’s not being let back in because she doesn’t own it and she has all her stuff. She locked Johnny out and he owned it and called the cops when he was trying to obtain his desk. Turnabout is FairPlay. How are you going to believe for one second this woman asked for 10k a month for dog chow and another 10k a month for rent and another 10k a month for vacations among other things like a car, condos for her and her freinds never bringing up charity but she’s going to go into a settlement meeting and come out with only 7 million dollars and she’s giving it away? She’s homeless because she tried to shake down her ex for millions of dollars by falsely accusing him of domestic violence. Her settlement went to charity instead of her going to face a judge with evidence stacked against her. There are text messages Johnny’s attorneys retrieved between her, iO and Raquel and that was enough for her to sign away her settlement she was legally entitled too. Did he softly blackmail her for falsely accusing him and ruining his reputation? Most likely, but she deserves it.
Your blog has more untruths in it than I can count, at least mine has facts and I say “probably”. No one knows what went on in that settlement, there was a non disclosure agreement, so for you to put is as fact, you must have a heck of a legal team.

At one time, TMZ was reporting that she broke the confidentiality agreement when her lawyers announced the amount she got as a settlement and when her or a friend put the video of Johnny Depp getting angry online. Thus, they say, she will not be able to fight Depp in court and there is nothing else she can do.
I believe her lawyer could still find a way fight all of this if Amber wanted to. However, why would Amber want to? I think she just wants it to be done and is through with it all. I don’t blame her.

Who made up this story? Firstly Depp is selling all condos -it’s in his best interest to get her things out since buyers want to aquire the property without Heard’s stuff in it.
Secondly he moved out first. Thirdly – Heard also made money by selling faked evidence pics of bruises that miracously disappeared when the LAPD arrived and text messages without recipient to rags. Allegedly she eared 75 k $ for leaking the video of Depp. I don’t have to mention that neither the photos nor the text messages were on the evidence list she submitted to court. The divorce file is public record.
She’s a poor excuse of a human being for starting a smear campaign to press money out of Depp. And if she’s broke she deserves it.
