Donald Trump loved to ‘waltz in’ on pageant contestants as they got dressed

wenn20034641

For more than nearly 20 years, Donald Trump owned the Miss USA, Miss universe and Miss Teen USA properties. He loves beauty pageants because – I believe – they represent everything that Trump thinks about women, that they are supposed to be young and beautiful and interchangeable. In 2005, Trump appeared on Howard Stern’s show and Stern asked him what it was like to own those pageants and be around all of those beautiful young women. Trump said:

“I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone’s getting dressed and ready and everything else,” he said. “And you know, no men are anywhere. And I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant. And therefore I’m inspecting it…Is everyone okay? You know they’re standing there with no clothes. And you see these incredible looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that.”

[From WaPo]

Following the re-airing of those comments over the weekend, in the wake of the P-ssy Tape, some of those former beauty queens are speaking out. 2001’s Miss Arizona Tasha Dixon told a CBS affiliate that Trump would often just come “waltzing in” while Miss USA contestants were nude or half-naked. Buzzfeed got in touch with some former Miss Teen USA contestants – remember, these would have been teenage girls between the ages of 14 and 19 at the time – to see if they remember anything like that too. And guess what?

Four women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant said Donald Trump walked into the dressing room while contestants — some as young as 15 — were changing.

“I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here,’” said Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA.

Trump, she recalled, said something like, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.”

Three other women, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of getting engulfed in a media firestorm, also remembered Trump entering the dressing room while girls were changing. Two of them said the girls rushed to cover their bodies, with one calling it “shocking” and “creepy.” The third said she was clothed and introduced herself to Trump.

Trump, who owned the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants from 1996 until last year, has publicly bragged about invading beauty queen dressing rooms, calling it one of his prerogatives of ownership. One of the other women who asked to be anonymous, who was 17, said, “At the time, you’re a teenager, you’re intimidated — it’s Donald Trump, he runs the pageant.” And it felt, she said, like “it was his given right” to enter the dressing rooms “because he owned the pageant.”

She added, “We were all very young, but even at the time, it caught us funny.” Now, “as an adult and as a mother,” she said she finds it “absolutely inappropriate.”

The third woman who asked to be anonymous was 15 at the time and said she was fully dressed and doing her makeup when Trump walked in. “I was like, ‘Hi, my name is —’ and I introduced myself.” She said she “had no idea” who he was, except that he was the owner of the pageant. Most of the women had fond recollections of Ivanka Trump, who, they said, came into the changing room to mingle. Billado said she told Ivanka about Donald Trump entering the room while the girls were changing their clothes. Billado remembers Ivanka answering, “Yeah, he does that.”

“I remember it shocking me,” Billado said. “I barely let anybody except my sister see me getting dressed.”

She viewed Trump’s intrusion into the dressing room “was more of a pompous ‘I own this place’ rather than a perverted thing.” Still, she said, “I would never let my daughter run for a pageant that he owns.”

[From Buzzfeed]

You should read the full Buzzfeed article here, there’s more information about how they got in contact with these poor women. And to be fair, many former beauty contestants had no recollection of Trump ever entering the backstage area or eyeballing them while they were in a state of undress. But those who do have memories of it… yeah, they shouldn’t be discounted. Especially since Trump actually admitted to doing it! These were teenage girls for the love the God. Such predatory behavior. Ugh.

*stomach Lurching* This is just so gross to even contemplate

    • SnazzyisAlive says:

Every day it’s something new and people still support him out there. I keep seeing these “yes but HIllary …” I mean please. People make not like Hillary’s policies, but she is not as vile as this man. I don’t understand how people can still stand with this guy.

      *goes to furnish bunker*

      • greenmonster says:

This morning a FB friend posted a video why people have to vote for Trump. He has three daughters. I don’t know how anyone with daughters can still support him.

    • delphi says:

Agreed. No amount of antacid nor calming breathing can settle things at this point.

And anyone who is still an apologist for this parasitic (synthetic) hairball after all of this is not someone I want to coexist with. Honestly. I’ve been a calm, patient commie pinko liberal up to this point. Now I’m up for open hostility towards any and all supporters of this man.

    • Shambles says:

I’m in pain. It physically hurts me to live in the world right now, while this man is running for president.
But hey, y’all, he made sure to remind his supporters to go out and vote for him on *November 28th*! Yes, please vote for him on the 28th!

    • ravensdaughter says:

Creeper extraordinaire. Why isn’t this showing up in the mainstream (no offense) papers? It shows a pattern of behavior that occurred before and after the notorious tape.
That’s what hacks me off about the response to tape: Trump supporters treat it as an isolated incident. Women who have dealt with men of Trump’s kind are all too aware that the man who boasts about kissing and grabbing is also the man who foists himself on women as they are dressing.
I’d love to see the outtakes from “The Apprentice.” People usually believe what they see (unless they don’t want to).

      • ravensdaughter says:

The Washington Post is covering it!

      • SusanneToo says:

@ravensdaughter. Unfortunately, the reading comprehension of the majority of the deplorables doesn’t extend beyond The National Enquirer.

      • Jag says:

Honestly, the people who are supporting Trump at this point don’t care. As he has said, he could kill someone in the middle of the street and they wouldn’t care. It’s horrifying.

    • JenniferJustice says:

Sorry to say I told you so, but I knew it! I knew it! No way was he owning the pageants for any other reason than access to and intimidation of young women.

  2. Locke Lamora says:

Is anyone, and I mean anyone surprised by this? I’m surprised actual rape accusations are not coming out. He’s a horrible horrible man.

And that bit about Ivanka, I really think she’s psychologically damaged from growing op around him. Tiffany is lucky she got out.

    • kelaine says:

Tiffany never lived with him. She’s Marla Maples’s daughter.

    • doofus says:

except that rape accusations are already out, from a woman who was 13 when Drumpf (allegedly) raped her.

and his supporters still don’t care.

      because…Buh-Buh-BUH-BENGHAZI email something or other.

    • popup says:

Ivanka, the ultimate enabler with a smiley plastic veneer.

    • Blue says:

With his level of grossness and the things he says about Ivanka, I can’t help but wonder if he’s done more then psychologically damage her.

    • Kori says:

He’s due in federal court to answer a civil case alleging him of raping an underage girl. I’m sure her lawyers are loving free discovery of all this. It’s really setting a pattern they can use.

  3. Jack Daniels is my patronus says:

He makes me want to vomit. Why on earth did anyone ever think this was ok? And why is the media not bringing up the child rape law suit against him?

    • Rachel says:

I’ve been asking for weeks why no mainstream news outlet has even mentioned the suit. Even if they don’t think it has merit, the fact remains that he IS friends with a convicted child molester, and the fact that the suit was filed is newsworthy. And the fact that he liked to wander around the Miss Teen USA contestants while they were changing just makes me think there may be something to it.

I can easily extrapolate is whole “I own the pageant” attitude to “I own the women in it,” so he’d feel he has every right to see them undressed. God, how do people not see this man is WRONG!

      • Rapunzel says:

Rachel… I also wonder why nobody is talking about Ivana’s okd allegations. Or why more attention isn’t being given to his prior remarks on the Clinton “victims” he is using for distraction.

And did y’all know there’s a group of little girl dancers suing Trump for stiffing them payment for their performances at his rallies? Amazing, right?

      • MC2 says:

I am so pissed that Trump’s connection to Epstein isn’t out more. He was friends’ with the pedophile for years, was in his ‘little black book’ and said how Epstein loves his beautiful women young & is so much fun….but I think that the media might back away from it because Bill Clinton had a meeting with Epstein once and it was a smear campaign by republicans in the past. Which is crap because Bill got raked for a meeting & Trump was super close to the guy for decades but he gets nothing. The most well known victim of Epstein’s he saw at a Trump hotel when she was a young teen working as an attendant for Trump & she was recruited (while working) to give Epstein a massage. She was then abused for years. What the f-ckity f-k!!! And this gets no attention. Grrr…..

  4. zombierick says:

I cannot wait to have this election over with so I can stop reading about this garbage “human”.

  5. Giddy says:

It’s hard to find words for how vile and disgusting this behavior is. Imagine how the parents of those girls feel. Predatory bastard.

  6. Margo S. says:

Sicko. So glad all his misogynistic narcissistic behavior is being plastered all over the media. Bad move running for president. This butt hurt dumb a$$ is so done.

  7. OriginallyBlue says:

Ewww. He is such a disgusting predator.

  8. Kay Dozier says:

    Disgusting piece of human garbage.

  9. Eve says:

That actually surprised me. It’s never crossed my mind he could do something like that.

    No, no, I’m just trolling.

  10. Merritt says:

I wish i could be surprised but I’m not. He has consistently demonstrated that he has no respect for women, he has been accused of sexual assault, and he has bragged about sexual assault. He also talked about wanting to commit statutory rape, when he was saying inappropriate things about 12 year olds with Howard Stern. Why the mainstream media acts like any of this is a surprise is beyond me. He has shown himself to be a racist and sexist creep. And there is a lengthy history of predatory behavior to go along with all of that.

    • Badazz says:

A trump supporter said that he owned strip clubs. Also that he represents our culture and that god chose him to stop Hillary Clinton from “murdering babies”. The mindset of his supporters is a thing of both fascination and horror.

  11. MellyMel says:

Yet he will still get votes! Absolutely disgusting…

  12. minx says:

    Oinkety oink oink oink.

    • susanne says:

Hey now! Pigs are smart and can be super sweet. Not much cuter than a piglet!
They will consume just about anything you throw in their pen, though.

  13. Karina says:

It is very unsettling that Trump was able to carry predatory behavior in the presence of other adults (of the pageant organization). Owning the pageants does not give him free reign to “inspect” women and children in a state of undress. Are there any attorneys on Celebitchy who can comment on this matter?

  14. Eve says:

I’m not sorry for Melania Trump but every now and then I think about how does it feel like to spread her legs to him — grunting, sweating, making his “O-face”, telling her to “take it” (come on, we know he says things along these lines), on top of her. Man, that can’t be easy.

Then I think about myself…would I be capable of marrying him for his money? And I shudder at the answer: “Yes, I would” (I’m flat out broke right now).

Terrifying, isn’t? Terrifying that I’d consider and probably say “yes”.

    *BARFS*

    • susanne says:

Yick! You should have posted an alert before that mental image.
      Brain bleach!

    • Ankhel says:

I’m sorry you’re broke and feeling low, Eve. Things can only get better, right, if you’re considering Trump? Oh no, now I’m doing it too. 😂

      • Eve says:

Money, dear. Whoever says money isn’t important and they wouldn’t do this or that for “(insert number here)” million is outright lying.

So…you’re considering doing it too? Excellent. Misery loves company.

        *tents fingers*

    • Ange says:

I have a feeling Melania set the Donald free as soon as she could so she didn’t have to deal with him any more.

    • Jessica says:

I live a comfortable middle class life with a lovely husband. No way I would enter that deal with the Satan.

  15. Abbess Tansy says:

I posted this on the other thread but it seems applicable here.

And yes he’s a monster. And a p-ss poor excuse of a human being.

  16. Anastasia Beaverhausen says:

This has been tortuous for me. I keep remembering my assault and numerous occasions of being fondled and groped. Being told to shut up. That it is was my fault. Boy will be boys.

He physically makes me ill. I’ve lost friends because of their knowing of my assault and not giving a shit. Defending this man. He’s a criminal.

THIS IS MORE THAN JUST WORDS.

But I know this is the choir I’m preaching too.

Thanks for being a place I can go in this insanity.

It’s sickening that an actual madman. No really he’s mentally ill with a coke problem.

Is way too close to the nuclear codes.

    • susanne says:

I’m sorry you’ve been triggered by this. Hoping you’ll take a bit of time off with kittens and puppies. Not to minimize your experience at all. It will all be over soon.

    • Eve says:

I, too, have been groped, fondled and sexually harassed. But I still consider myself lucky because I’ve never been raped. It scares the ever living sh*t out of me.

That’s why I walk around with a pen knife and a brass knuckle (wish I had pepper spray and a taser as well). Because I’ve been mugged/robbed twice (one of them at gun point) but I wasn’t scared. I was confused and angry. Sexual assault, however, I’d rather die.

You’re a survivor and a hero to me.

    • doofus says:

please know that you’re not alone. many of us on here are survivors who have related their stories.

I am so sorry that for what you’re experiencing and I am sending you CelebitchyInternetHugs.

    • MC2 says:

I am glad that women are speaking out about the abuse that they have suffered and that it is out on the table because it is happening and we are told to shut up. Nope. If Donald Trump can run his mouth and shrug it off as locker room talk, then we can share our stories of what it is like to grow up and be American women.

I am sorry that you lost friends but it’s better to have lived & lost then to live with psychos for the rest of your life….the other quote I think of is that the words of your enemies doesn’t hurt as much as the silence of your friends. They suck.

  17. doofus says:

just saw that someone at a press conference asked Tom Brady about the whole “locker room talk” and his buddy Drumpf and Brady WALKED OUT.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  18. foxy says:

bill Clinton is accused of raping women.
