  1. Miss Grace Jones says:

Chris Pratt is easily one of the most bland boring movie stars they keep trying to make happen and he doesn’t sell anything for me. Like…his whole movie star action heartthrob thing seems so forced since he has yet to charm me personally and his looks are very boring.

    • me says:

Really? I liked him in the first Guardian’s movie.

      • Poisonous Lookalike says:

I did too; but I liked him even more in Parks and Recreation. Andy isn’t necessarily a charming character, but Pratt played him wonderfully.

      • Miss Grace Jones says:

I didn’t even reall like that movie. It was extremely tropey and the backstories were rushed and the villain was garbage as was how they defeated him. The only character I kiked was Groot and the only thing I found notable was the soundtrack.

    • Trixie says:

I loved Pratt in Parks & Rec. and I enjoyed him in Guardians 1.

      • Rhiley says:

I have only ever seen him in Parks and Rec, and guesting on Top Chef (with his wife), and in both I thought he was ADORABLE… Whoops, realized I have also seen him in the 5 year engagement, which is great movie.

    • Mia4S says:

” they keep trying to make happen”

Uhhh, I hate to tell you this but he’s already happened. He’s happened big time. You’re not required to like him one bit (of course not) but to say he has not already happened is just silly. One thing is subjective, the other objective. Studios would give you $80 million to make a shoe commercial if Pratt was signed on.

      • Kitten says:

Yep it’s true–Pratt is a big name now but I do think that he’s pretty one-dimensional as an actor.

      • Miss Grace Jones says:

You took this a little more personally than I did. I just said I don’t like him and think he’s one dimensional. *shrugs*

      • Josefina says:

Pratt’s star quality has yet to be proven. The success of both of his movies – Guardians and Jurassic World – can be attributed to several things other than him. And those are the only 2 big movies he has. He’s definitely famous now, but I wouldn’t bet on his star status just yet.

      • Mia4S says:

Not personal at all. I liked him in Guardians, “meh” otherwise. I just always find comments like your initial one so odd (Look I hate Twilight, but I sadly admit “they” did make it happen). People hate Avatar, but it’s the highest grossing film ever. Sigh…if only pop culture yielded to our whims! 😏

      • V4Real says:

He was also one of the main leads in The Magnificent 7 and that movie did very well. Of course Denzel was the lead character but Chris was right up there with him.

Sorry people, Chris has already happened

      • Eve says:

Cannot stand Crap Pratt as an actor. Nor as a person. Guardians of the Galaxy was the ONLY Marvel movie I didn’t enjoy. In fact, I was actually going to boycott it because of him but then I read somewhere Thanos would make an appearance. Should have stayed at home. It was not worth my time, my money and the few scenes featuring Thanos.

Was extremely disappointed that he showed up in “Her” (I didn’t know he was in the movie).

Let’s not forget giving alway a cat via Twitter, trashing the people who criticized him (after deleting the first tweet: “Anyone in L.A. area want a cat?”) — NO, I will NEVER let that one go. Don’t even bother replying to me if you’re on his side on this one.

P.S.: Aaaaaaaaand there’s the whole gun-loving, killing animals for fun and wanting to go on a safari (for killing — except elephants, he didn’t have the “courage” to kill an elephant).

P.P.S.: May have happened, but the most popular characters in Guardians of Sh*tty Galaxy were a mutant raccoon and a tree that repeated the same line over and over again.

I’m patiently waiting for this a**hole’s downfall.

      • Eve says:

        @ Miss Grace Jones:

Agreed with everything you’ve said (except that he’s happening somehow, UNFORTUNATELY). They’re trying to push him down our throats.

Not even enjoyed the soundtrack (from Guardians of the Crap Galaxy) and I love songs from the 80s.

      • Eve says:

Also agree with Josephina. Said it better than I could.

Ohhhhh, so wish it was for real.

      • detritus says:

@eve, I idn’t know about the cat thing 🙁 that’s not good at all.

He was really bad in Jurassic park, good in Guardians and excellent as Andy Dwyer. Kitten is spot on, he has no range. He’s charismatic enough, hot enough, white enough for Hollywood, but he’s never going to be DiCaprio huge.

I remember tuning out his interviews because he can be really fratty and kind of a jerk. The cat thing, yeah. Not even kind of a jerk.

    • susie says:

You clearly don’t know Andy Dwyer! (“I’m not crying! I’m allergic to jerks! LOL!!)

    • Pamela says:

God I loved him in GOTG. I found his character so charismatic and hot as hell. .

      But, hey…different strokes for sure.

    • comet per chance says:

      I’ve loved him since Everwood.

    • elle says:

I’m with you… he’s very much “the Emperor’s new clothes” when it comes to hotness for me. They can keep telling me he’s hot, but I don’t believe them.

      • Rosemary says:

Arnold Schwatzenegger in his prime is my idea of ultimate hotness. I have never understood when others said that they thought he was gross.
Proves a point that we are all someone’s idea of !!!zzzzzzexxxy!!!
It’s not really his fault that the media is shoving him down our throats. It is his job, and I bet he and his wife laugh every time they read or hear about his “hotness”.
There is also the phenomenon where the more you see a face, the more you find it attractive. I have that with the young Eastwood.

    • lili says:

I think he’s easily the least bland and boring of the Chris.

    • Rosemary says:

While he isn’t Philip Seymour Hoffman, I like his work. I don’t mind if he is one-dimensional, or any of the other negative things that people are saying, because when I watch a Marvel or DC movie, I just want to be entertained. That is his job, and he does it.
While I totally respect everyone’s need to rip him a new one, I ask that you compare his acting to that of Dakota Johnson. Now SHE has a total lack of acting chops that has compelled me to leave a cinema because she was sooooooooooo bad (thankfully, I didn’t pay, and the person who did pay for the tickets enthusiastically left with me). I actually avoid anything that she is in…that’s is how much of a waste of space she is (in terms of acting). She isn’t even one-dimensional…she is just annoying.

  2. me says:

Did Kylie throw that party or did E throw that party lol? Chyna had an identical party for her son the very next day (same theme and all)…probably used the same props from KUWTK lol. Both will be shown on their shows. This family…my God.

  3. Poisonous Lookalike says:

I liked the first one much more than I expected to, and I absolutely adore that song, so I’m in.

  4. Dumbledork says:

Love the little Groot at the end!

  5. Trixie says:

This trailer did nothing for me. Boring trailer.

    • hey-ya says:

…totally agree…& that scares me cos I loved the trailer for the 1st GotG from the moment I saw it…why bring back Nebula…no one cares about her…& sorry tho but wheres the other poc in this movie…more Rocket please less Drax…

  6. ABC says:

Oh man, that’s my excitement meter gone skyward and it’s not even due out for months.. Have to say I’m not a movie person but went to see GotG at the cinema (was one of my first cinema 3D experiences – told you I’m not a movie person) and I LOVED it and have been so nervous about this sequel.. I’ll go see it, and it will make a ton, but it had better be good. Please, please, please let it be good.

  7. Anilehcim says:

I love that you wrote that Kylie threw Tyga’s son’s birthday party because their claims that Tyga is paying for anything are ridiculous. It’s so obvious that her little lost, pitiful self is footing the bill for everything. She is or was being called to court to talk about his finances… if she had a brain, she would know that was a red flag.

  8. Hfsni says:

This is so frustrating. I hate it when celebrities want to put out body positive etc. Messages do an interview and then the magazine photoshops them so much that they r not the same person anymore. Y photoshop ariel winter so much ?!?! Then their message doesnt make sense
Well y photoshop anyone in general

  9. Clairej says:

Yay love GOTG. Cannot wait for this sequel

  10. Chloeee says:

Is NO ONE twitching at the Tobey/Sofia thing?! Why was she even in a club?! She turned 18 like two months ago. I guess I’m one to talk I snuck into clubs at that age but you know there’s no sneaking going on there. She gets let in and is interacting with creepers and getting fed alcohol. At least tell me someone is watching over her.

Love the Blue Swede’s cover version of “Hooked on a Feeling”
