Britney Spears took her mom out to see strippers in Vegas

Talk about family bonding. Britney Spears took a night off from her Las Vegas show Piece of Me to take in some of Sin City’s other cultural activities with her mom. The pair joined some of the dancers from her show on Friday night as the group hit the Thunder from Down Under male revue at the Excalibur.

The 34-year-old singer treated her party to some Magic Mike-esque male dancing action. She posted a photo of some of the fine fellas in action on stage with the caption, “Just a night off in Vegas.” You can see Brit covering her face in what I’m sure is faux embarrassment, as she sees more skin during her own show.

There was even some audience participation during the show as one of Brit’s dancers joined the Aussies on stage for a little bump ‘n’ grind. Britney was also treated to a little up close and personal performance from one of the dancers. A source told E! News that “Britney was fun shocked. She had a great time. She was laughing and enjoyed it. She was a really good sport.”

When the show was over, Britney and her mom went backstage for a meet and greet with the performers. Brit posted a picture of the delicious eye candy with the caption, “Girls night out with the boys from down under.”

Heck, when I took my mom to Vegas, we went to see Cher – which was awesome, by the way. Male strip shows are delightfully cheesy, but once you’ve seen one, you’ve kind of seen ’em all, right? This is coming from someone who has fallen asleep twice during Magic Mike, mind you. But, hey, sounds like Britney and mom had a blast, and it hardly seems like a “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” kind of night. Thanks to social media, nothing really seems to stay in Vegas anymore anyway.

Britney fan since the beginning here. It’s so wonderful to see her looking so great and spending time with family and friends. As a fan I’m so thankful her family stepped in to get her help.

I cannot stand male strippers and Ia void anything that involves them: hen parties, birthdays, divorce parties, whatever parties.

They are so so sad in my opinion. I really cringe when a woman is invited on stage and the strippers grind against her and.. oh my god i cannot even finish this sentence!
*suffers second hand embarrassment and runs out the door covering her eyes and banging everywhere*

Don’t know why, but the header photo reminds me of Kellyanne Conway. So I will move on to the next story.

My daughter and I took my mom to see male strippers once. I agree that once you’ve seen them, it’s pretty “meh”, but my mom had a blast. Part of their routine was to divide the room into two groups and give a prize for the loudest group. My mom was elected captain of her group. They won. After the stripping, when the dancers would hang out for awhile and dance with some of the audience, they all took turns dancing with her. She was about 75 at the time, and I think she had more fun than anyone else.

@Syko – That is a delightfully sweet and funny story 🙂 Maybe I should take my Mom to one too!
Kinda reminds me of Betty White in the strip club show in the ‘Proposal’…

I’m going to take my mom soon! She’s never been so I know it’ll be super fun for her and my dad will have some time to gamble while I take her out.

Am I the only one who doesn’t get the appeal of strippers? I don’t want someone in a thong that I don’t know grinding all over me. It might be good for a laugh, but even then I think the novelty wears thin pretty fast. Guys like that aren’t hot to me.

    • DSW says:

I guess the appeal dies for me, because I know those men wouldn’t give me the time of day if I weren’t giving them money.

    • Syko says:

I don’t really care for them either. I think everyone should experience it once, but once was plenty for me…but my mom had a blast. We didn’t tell her it was going to be a strip show, and she was surprised, but took it in stride and had fun, and we had fun watching her.

My first job after moving to FL was a city planning firm, I was office administrator, and when my birthday came around, one of the planners decided it would be great to hire a stripper to come wish me Happy Birthday. So they called this all-office meeting in the conference room, and a guy dressed like a cowboy walked in, and I was never so embarrassed in my life. Up close, you could see his skin rashes, and his act was so obscene that our little Vietnamese CADD operator went and hid in the closet. Horrible idea! I’d worked there maybe 3 months, and was not prepared for someone putting a horn over their genitalia and telling me to blow. Ugh.

What the hell has she done to her face?!
