As we discussed on Sunday, Kanye West is living separately from Kim Kardashian following his release from UCLA’s psychiatric ward. My assumption is that Kim and the kids are living in the family home, and that Kanye is either staying in a rental, or he’s staying in some other property that he owns, like his old bachelor pad (which I don’t think he ever sold). There’s been a lot of gossip about the Kimye marriage and whether Kim is trying to do some kind of tough-love situation, or whether Kim has been leaking stories to advance a storyline which will have her filing for divorce. E! News – home to the Kardashians’ reality shows – claims that divorce is not on the table. I guess.
Kanye West has the support and love from wife Kim Kardashian as he continues his recovery following a more than weeklong hospitalization for exhaustion. The rapper was released from UCLA Medical Center Wednesday and has since then been treated as an outpatient and spent time with his family.
Kanye “will remain getting outpatient treatment till he is fully recovered,” a source told E! News exclusively. “Kim wants him to continue getting therapy even after all of this. He has support from so many people.”
“Kim is doing okay despite reports,” the source continued. “She has many things on her plate so being overwhelmed is expected. She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him.”
Another source told E! News, “Kim will of course always stay by Kanye’s side and support him and help him through it all.”
Some people believe all or some of this is being faked, or that certain stories are being used o further some agenda. Personally, after years of covering the Kardashians, I feel like I have a good handle on which stories are being used as reality-show storylines and which stories are actual tragedies and bad moments that are unfolding in real time. I don’t think this is a reality show storyline. I think Kim has been over the reality show sh-t since the Paris robbery, and now that Kanye is struggling in a huge way, she’s really just trying to keep her head above water. While Kris Jenner might be pushing certain angles – I would not put it past Lucifer’s Homegirl – I’m choosing to take most of this stuff at face value. Kim loves Kanye, but she’s tired. She’ll always support him but she wants him to be an equal partner to her. They’re not splitting up, they’re just working through a really rough time.

Yeah, hard to blame her. She’s a human being, she must be close to the limit of what one person can tolerate.
I know people hate Kim but let’s be honest, this is a tough situation for anyone to be in especially with two young children involved (Saint turns 1 today). I think they genuinely love and want the best for each other (narcissism aside) .
Mental illness is hard on any family tbqh. She has to consider her safey and that of her babies. North is at an impressionable age where witnessing anythin out of the ordinary can traumatise her for a long time.

Being superficial for a moment….I can’t stand when people put those stiff, heavy leather boots on kids that young because they think it’s cool. They’re clunky and hard to walk in.

One would think if your husband was in mental distress, the leaks would cease and desist. No matter what the state of their union, if she truly wants the best for this man, she would remain quiet and stop with this is she or isn’t she bull crap. There is literally no end to her desire to be on blogs, whether it is good or bad. Truly a narcissist.
Exactly, she’s staying because there is still fame and money to be had from association with him. We’re talking queen of the superficial here.
She’s staying cause Kanye is the key to the fashion world and she won’t be invited to front seat by herself no matter how much she is “saintfyed” by her third divorce.

Not only that but the stories have been conflicting. Not on meds, on meds but not taking them correctly, sudden breakdown, been going on for a long time, living in a separate residence, at home with Kim and the children and so on. But I agree the stories need to stop. They did the same thing to Lamar. This story is a response to all the comments about a divorce in the works.
They want to be in the daily news. It doesn’t matter what it takes.

I was watching his “Stronger” video yesterday and all the imagery of him thrashing about in a hospital bed- it was disturbing now. Also, the Kanyes workout plan video had trump imagery, so it made me think of his true feelings there. Kind of sobering to look back at his work.
I love the optimism but don’t think anything the Kardashians do should be taken at face value. There’s always some agenda at play. No doubt this is a rough time for them both, but it’s horrible how the Kardashians have pimped every aspect of the situation.
Also, Kanye’s mental issues have been confirmed by all the press leaks, but is calling him “batsh!t” (e.g., in Sunday’s article) necessary? Seems insensitive. Perhaps we can tilt the sympathy cup his way for a moment too — he is, after all, the sick and formerly hospitalized one.
So the updates will continue even if they don’t need to share and we certainly don’t need to know..

Well if she isn’t living with him, she’s already left him no matter how much you want to spin her reasons or justifications for doing so. All these Kim apologists make my teeth hurt.

I don’t think they ever lived together. And it doesn’t mean their marriage is over. Some married couples prefer living that way.
That being said, I think Kim is upset because her empire is krumbling. Not in the financial sense, but it is now very difficult to keep pretending that her life is perfect and that they are both invincible.
She is just a show off who was so full of herself that she didn’t even take basic measures for her own safety, and now Kanye blew a fuse and now everyone can realize that what she calls genius is just mental illness.

I have this (unfounded) suspicion that Kanye is behind the Paris burglary. It seems to me to be an obvious inside-job, and my guess is that Kanye didn’t tell Kim in advance because her reaction to the police wouldn’t have been genuine. For such a large profile person to be robbed at gunpoint, the whole robbery has just kind of gone away. And I also suspect the police are closing in on him which is causing his breakdown. Just my theory as the story of the robbery in and of itself just doesn’t make sense.
Is Kim K supposed to get a medal, becuase she did not bolt at the first serious hiccup in her marriage and the vows she took? It’s what she vowed to do when she married him…you don’t leave someone who is sick. AND…she knew he was one car away from the crazy train car when she married him. We ALL have things on our plate and problems….it’s called life. Buck up princess, you are not a special snowflake and you are in for a bumpy ride.
