Madonnaâs Billboard interview was one of her best moments of the year, I thought. I still donât really know why she was declared Billboardâs Woman of the Year though, considering all she really did this year was finish up her international tour. I mean, sheâs still the richest woman in music, but thatâs been the case for years. Why is Madge suddenly everywhere right now? I donât know. But here she is on James Cordenâs Carpool Karaoke. This episode was super-hyped for weeks, and all of the Madonna fans were jazzed that she was finally doing it. Considering the sheer volume of hits in her catalogue, Iâm surprised by which songs were chosen and which songs were sidelines. They cycle through these songs: Vogue, Bitch Iâm Madonna, Papa Donât Preach, Donât Cry For Me Argentina (from Evita), Express Yourself, Ray of Light and Music.
A few things: she slips into that stupid faux-English accent when sheâs talking about Evita. She hates Cordenâs clothes, but she compliments him as being funny and says she thinks the best thing would be to marry a âfunny guy.â She tells a story about kissing Michael Jackson. But mostly, this was a boring-ass episode, right? Yikes. Madonna likes to think of herself as the most interesting person in the world, but in reality⌠sheâs just kind of vapid and self-absorbed.
But really, can we take a moment and talk about the craziness of her face? OMG. Thereâs so much work on display here. I donât think I realized how much work sheâs had done on her lips. And it feels like she doesnât know how to move her new face at times too, like she awkwardly opens her mouth and tests out an âexpression.â So crazy.

It was exactly what I would figure an episode of carpool karaoke with Madonna to be. Very little actual singing on her part (watch Gagas for comparison, hers was amazing) and lots of her acting like an 18 year old.
I thought Gaga’s was boring though, as boring as that new song, It was a perfect illusion, perfect illusion. It was a perfect illusion, perfect illusion, perfect illusion.
It started out fun unti she started twerking. then is was embarrassing
She has completely ruined herself. That ass is just the cherry on top.
I had to stop watching, her face makes me feel in pain.
And to think I was such a fan..
I was a big big fan too … I’ve tried but I can’t with her now. She is so hard to look at, and it’s disturbing
She has totally gone Kartrashian plastic body with those breast and butt implants.
And don’t get me started on the fillers in her face. Yeesh.
I couldn’t watch the clip (not available in my country) & I couldn’t be bothered finding another source. But from the comments from the other day on another Madonna thread & this one, I’m gathering she has gone and got her self some K arse implants…? Lawdy, now we have to watch her face and arse cheeks get bigger and bigger. Because we all know she is not going to stop anytime soon. It’s kind of sad :/
Too much filler. Her face can’t move. She used to have a great laugh, but she can’t really laugh anymore all frozen.
But I thought it was great and they had great chemistry. I’ve seen many boring or awkward Carpool Karaokes with him, but this wasn’t one. It was actually good. God, I love her catalogue of music pre-2012.
I’ve seen most of the Carpools and love them except for two – Gaga and Madonna. They were both awful, look at me, me, me episodes.

I tried to watch it, but only made it less than halfway through. It was so cringeworthy, my secondhand embarrassment got the best of me. I had to stop watching!

Carpool karaoke was so much better before it became a huge thing. Everyone wants on there now and it seems too try hard or fake. For me the best one is still the first Justin Bieber one.
She is cringeworthy but from my generation so I was surprised that I actually enjoyed some of her oldies. They made me feel young again like papa don’t preach!

Stevie Wonder is the best, imo.
Not sure what she thinks she’s achieving with that unfunny “bitchy” persona or whatever that is. Very unflattering. Like the puffed up lips. At least she always had the good sense to keep her nose and not chisel away at it over the years to the point of ridiculousness like so many other celebs.
He needs to space these out more.

Thank you! She’s 58 for crying out loud! Sure she’s had some work done, but I think she looks great. If she didn’t have any work done we’d probably all be talking about how old she looks.
Okay, I don’t like Madonna’s personality, so I’ll be the first to jump on her bs. I admit the pic of her at the top looks WEIRD. But I was expecting so much worse from the video. She didn’t look that bad to me. I hope I’m not becoming immune to the plastic surgery look!
Now, about that ass. I googled. Found video of her twerking with another blech, Arianna Grande – and what the hell?! Madonna always had a firm bottom, right? She now has what looks like uncooked rolls of dough hanging off her butt. It’s terrible. It’s crazy.
Can we get a designer ID on her gloves, stat? I love them. I need them.
