It looks like Fergie is worried people might not be paying attention to her, so she decided to talk about how much fun it is to be a bisexual. Yawn, right? Fergie told The Sun that she had “experimented” with women, but she’d never had a girlfriend. And, as an added bonus, she plays bisexual for money, or as she says it, “there’s a little girl-on-girl tease section” in her latest music video. She gets a little graphic about the video shoot, I suppose hoping that the idea of her grinding on a few women will turn on those teenage boys. There’s too much information, and then there’s just acting so desperate that it just becomes cheesy and camp. Fergie has crossed that line, in my opinion:

Pop beauty Fergie has become the latest celebrity to admit to a lesbian romp.

The Black Eyed Peas singer follows fellow Americans Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga and Megan Fox in revealing that she is bisexual.

Fergie, who married JOSH DUHAMEL in January, told The Sun: “Put it this way, I’ve experimented definitely, but I have never had a steady girlfriend.”

Black Eyed Peas shot to No1 in the UK chart yesterday with Boom Boom Pow — but it is their next single that is closest to the star’s heart.

The 34-year-old star explained: “You’ll like our next video, for I Got A Feeling, because I have a little girl-on-girl tease section of the video.”

“I met the girls right before we did the scene. They were beautiful. They were hot.”

“One of them was the director’s girlfriend — so he was happy!”

Actress Lindsay, 22, recently split from lesbian lover SAMANTHA RONSON, while singer GaGa, 23, answers questions over whether she is bisexual with a simple “Sure”.

Film star Megan, 23, admits to sleeping with women — including a stripper — but says she’s turned off by other girls who also like men. The Transformers beauty, said last week: “I have no question in my mind about being bisexual. But I’m also a hypocrite.”

“I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I’d never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man.”

What do Megan Fox, Lady Gaga and Fergie have in common? I’ll just let that question just hang in the air. Here’s the thing – I actually think there are some people who are truly bisexual, who have relationships with members of both sexes, who feel attractions to both sexes. Example: Cynthia Nixon. To paraphrase some random psychiatrist I was reading about, for many people, sexuality is a lot muddier and more transient than most people understand. What bothers me is that it seems like the whole “I’m bisexual, y’all” thing has become one of the go-to discussion points for celebrity women who want a quick hit of press. It’s cheap in so many ways.
