NO NOT MILEY – just went to see a high school production of Footloose and any of those performing would be better than Miley – just her annoying voice is enough to leave her out of the running – it is a classic – leave it alone!!!!

@Carrie-I so agree. Watching it at home on my tv just isn’t enough. Rerelease in theaters. Limited rerelease. It’ll do great.

Since when do filmmakers actually cast teenagers to play teenagers? Esp in movies like this. No, they like their teenagers out of puberty with clear skin and an adult’s confidence.

It is bad enough they are re-making Footloose. Which is a total classic! To put Miley in that movie would a terrible idea. Hey, Hollywood how about this idea. Why not just release the original Footloose into theaters? I would rather pay money to see that, than the crap that is being shown today!!
