What I DON'T understand is both Katie and Pete leaving Harvey all alone with nannies while they go off to their respective world corners to get themselves together!!! I assume Pete has been like a father to Harvey so he should not simply drop out of the boy's life just like that. On the other hand, Katie is his MOTHER. How do you justify leaving your child alone with nannies (no parents, no siblings) so you can go to the bloody Maldives??? What kind of person does that? And dragging her other children around with her? Yeah, I'll bet that's been a joy for them. I can give Katie a break as a woman and a wife in the turmoil of separation and (future) divorce. I have much less sympathy for a mother who seems to have so little regard for the needs of her children. I understand her impulsively having Pete’s belongings removed from the house.

A lot of emotions run rampant when a couple splits up. It can't be helped. I threw my wedding album in the garbage can and then I picked up dog poop and threw it on top of the album. (With a shovel of course!) Seemed fitting considering my ex was a lying cheater. Don't hate on her too bad. God forbid you are ever in the same situation. I feel sorry for the both of them.
