Naleigh is named after Katherine’s mother and sister, a combination of their names.
Naleighs real name is Nancy Leigh which is her mom and sisters names combined. Also their son is a junior so I’m assuming bishop is a family name
Bishop is a really common last name though, so I would guess it is a family name. My kids’ middle names are all family last names.

Her daughters’ names are Adalaide and Naleigh. They are fine names. The middle name of the girl from Korea is Korean, which is a nice way to honor her heritage and very common in international adoption.
ALL names are “made up” by the way. You just might be unfamiliar with some of them.

Well if it’s silly and meh to name your child in honor of your mother and sister, so be it. I don’t know why it’s such a big deal. I can think of hundreds of Hollywood children’s names that are far worse, IMO.
I think that the little girl’s name is actually Nancy Leigh, they just call her Naleigh for short. As a nickname it is fine and I like that they can honor her family.
