If Amy's so determined to get alcohol, I'd imagine there's a point where a parent will just yearn for some peace and harmony, even if it means turning a blind eye. I'd imagine it's incredibly difficult to constantly be the policeman and your daughter's biggest enemy. And she's an adult; there comes a point where you have to let the addict make the decision to recover.
