Here are some photos of Kristen Stewart leaving her hotel to attend the New York premiere/screening of Personal Shopper. Kristen is one of Karl Lagerfeld’s muses and one of the faces of Chanel, so obviously she wore a Chanel dress to the premiere. While I actually loved Kristen’s newly shaved blonde buzzcut a few days ago, I’m having some mixed feelings about this hair with such a pale dress. Yes, it’s very striking. And I don’t think my issue is with her hair, it’s with the dress. I think the turtleneck is my problem here? It would be a much better look overall with a high neck but lower than a t-neck. I also think the hip pockets are awkward.

As for her buzzcut, Kristen has been doing the media rounds in NYC and she explained how it’s for her next role where she plays a mechanic on a submarine. She wanted to look more badass and less frilly, basically. She also says that she’d always wanted to try a buzzcut or a shaved head. Seeing her in motion with this hair is… interesting. She really looks SO different. And honestly, she reminds me of vintage Angelina Jolie.
