Donald Trump on MSNBC: ‘They’re bad people, there’s something wrong with them’

It’s every day now. Every single morning, I wake up and try to figure out what the political story of the day will be. And every day is a fresh hell of deplorable storylines. Should we even discuss how Emperor Baby Fists has “installed” political hacks in key cabinet positions just so they can be Baby Fists’ “eyes and ears” within those agencies? Should we talk about how Trump’s SCOTUS choice, Neil Gorsuch, hates women to the point where he thinks we’re all conniving, lazy bitches just looking for all that sweet maternity leave cash? Should we talk about FBI Director Comey’s upcoming testimony today before the House Intelligence committee? Or should we talk about Baby Fists’ latest Twitter hissy fit about leaks and how he has no connection to Vladimir Putin? Ugh.

Instead, let’s talk about an easier – but no less aggravating and depressing – story involving Emperor Baby Fists aka Easy D aka Agent Orange. Easy D sat down with Watters’ World for an interview last Friday and the quotes are just as stupid as you would expect. Baby Fists sounded off about everything from his tax returns to Alec Baldwin.

The Watters’ World interview, which took place just before Trump’s Nashville, Tenn., rally, kicked off with Trump voicing his thoughts on MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s decision to reveal two pages of his 2005 tax returns live on air Tuesday. Viewers learned that Trump made more than $150 million in income and paid $38 million in income taxes that year.

“They’re bad people,” he said of the network. “There’s something wrong with them. It’s illegal to do what they did. It’s criminally offensive.” Trump emphasized that all of his tax returns “are good,” but “they just don’t respect the law, and we have to change that.”

The president told Watters that the Mexican border wall will be built “very soon,” adding that he’ll be “very much involved” in the process. The Fox News anchor then shifted gears and took Trump through a short speed quiz, asking him to describe a number of acquaintances in just one word. Trump had a few choice words to say about Hillary Clinton (“disappointed”) and Elizabeth Warren (“I think she’d lose so badly”) before discussing his recent feud with Snoop Dogg.

“I think it was terrible,” he said of the rapper’s music video depicting a mock assassination of the president. “Not because of me, but it’s terrible to do that to any president — any person. I think it was pretty low-life. His career is falling, and he’s getting a lot of publicity from it.”

When Vladimir Putin’s name came up during the quiz, Trump denied having relations: “Don’t know him, but certainly he’s a tough cookie. I don’t know how he’s doing for Russia, but I guess we’ll find out one day.”

Asked by Watters whom he would choose to fire among his most famous enemies — Baldwin, Sen. Chuck Schumer or CNN’s Jeff Zucker — Trump replied, “I think the Alec Baldwin situation is not good. Chuck, I’m very disappointed in him because he’s a guy who should make deals for the people. Instead, he’s just an obstructionist. So, I’m disappointed in him. And Jeff Zucker, I mean, I got him the job. And CNN is just, you know, fake news. Who would I say? I just, I don’t want to say, but I will say I’m disappointed in all three. I think the portrayal of me is ridiculous.

[From Vulture & THR]

“It’s criminally offensive” – you absolute dumbass. And it’s like people don’t give a sh-t that Trump lies constantly about having met Putin. As for the Alec Baldwin thing…I get the feeling that Baldwin’s impression upsets him the most. People can call Easy D a Nazi, a fascist, a liar, an unhinged moron, but there’s something particular about Alec Baldwin’s utterly accurate portrayal that drives him up the wall.

He talks like a little kid “they’re bad people”, “they behave badly”,…

    • Loopy says:

Wow you beat me to it, I feel bad even insulting kids, he speaks like no President I have ever heard speak, he really needs some lessons on how to articulate himself as a freaking Potus.

      • Megan says:

Expect a string of incoherent tweets today. The Comey hearing is not going well for Trump.

      • Megan says:

if you are near a radio, tune into CSPAN. The Comey hearing is absolutely riveting. The Russia conspiracy is so much bigger than I realized, and I have been following along closely.

    • Esmom says:

Yeah, his limited vocabulary makes even George W sounds scholarly. The thing is, his supporters don’t seem to mind.

      • ichsi says:

Yeah, they love him for speaking like that. Voice of the people, not the elite and all that BS. When will this complete farce end?

      • lower-case deb says:

if it’s not the voice of the people now, it’s fonna be in a generation or so, the way this Adminstration is so keen on blasting people back a thousand years.

it’s going to be the voice of the uneducated and unscientific, the uninsured, and the unable once Trump and co are done with their constituents.

      • Kitten says:

@ Esmom-Did you listen to the recent Pod Save America where they talked about politicians who sound like *normal* people?
I totally get it and I completely recognize the value of a politician who chills on the punditry and self-promotional shit. But you can talk *on the level* to the American population without sounding like a complete moron or a child in the midst of a tantrum. Being a straight-shooter and articulate are not mutually-exclusive. Sadly, Trump is neither of those things–he’s just playing pretend as part of his con on America.

      • Esmom says:

Kitten, I did and so much to unpack. I felt like the guys weren’t addressing the elephant in the room — that people voted for Trump because he’s a white male. They kept talking about how people were ready for an outsider and Trump was it. I was disappointed that they didn’t address the underlying racism and misogynism behind Trump’s win.

And when they talked about Elizabeth Warren being a good option for 2020, I wished they had mentioned that she’s already the target of a right wing campaign to discredit her. As a result, I’m not sure she could win.

I did like how they talked about how the Democrats need to come up with a more cohesive message. But I really worry about finding the right candidate who can resonate with voters for the next election cycle.

      • Shark Bait says:

Bush really started the anti-intellectualism movement in this country. Why does talking like a real person have to mean having a limited vocabulary, poor grammar and sounding dumb?? Lower class doesn’t have to mean stupid. We have these wonderful things called libraries and community colleges offer pretty affordable community education and continuing education courses. This infuriates me. There is nothing wrong with being informed!

      • Kitten says:

@Esmom-They didn’t talk about the misogyny in that podcast, but they have before. Honestly, I think they made an important point (albeit one we’ve heard before) about Trump.

I don’t think we can boil it down to just *one* reason why DJT beat HRC but I DO think that the “outsider effect” was the one that made the most difference and also the reason why many voters on the Right shunned Jeb Bush from the start.

They were correct in their assessment that seasoned politicians sometimes get in their own way in terms of being too polished, too cautious, and too contrived, as if they’re crippled by their comprehensive understanding of the political machine.
We saw this same effect with Mitt Romney as well; as if the image he presented was too *polished* to be trusted. I’m not saying that I agree with this perspective nor am I trying to defend it, but I do think it’s a thing–a phenomenon–that contributes to the viability of a presidential candidate’s campaign.

Of course with Trump it’s not merely political inexperience that drives him to speak the way that he does, it’s also delusion and arrogance as well as a borderline-compulsive disregard for anyone else’s thoughts or feelings.

@ Shark Bait-ITA. It’s possible to be thoughtful and intelligent yet not overly-verbose in a way that intimidates people.

      • LoveShoes says:

I think that George W would take offense to the comparison.
On that note, baby Emperor Baby Fists seems to dislike anyone who portrays him in a bad light. He only accepts positive statements made about him. And if anything is CRIMINAL, it’s the fact that he accused Obama of wiretapping ” or some form of listening”. Emperor Baby Fists is off his rocker, and the sooner he is impeached, the better this country will be.
Also, hasn’t it been proven that he likes to leak information or impersonate himself to the press?

    • Megan says:

His limited vocabulary coupled with a lack of self control is going to get us all killed. He is once again baiting North Korea and China in a tweet.

    • MunichGirl says:

      Reminds me of this:

“U.S. President Donald Trump has repeated his brusque denouncement of Kim Jong Un, telling reporters as he left his resort home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida on Sunday that the North Korean leader was “acting very, very badly.”

      http://time.com/4706269/trump-north-korea-kim-acting-badly/

I bet Kim Jong-un was shaking in his boots when he heard that.

    • khaveman says:

He is projecting….what an unhinged “leader.”

    • Green Valley says:

For the Comey hearing, check out the Twitter feeds of Reps Adam Schiff and Terri Sewell. Also, Shaun King and RVAwonk.

      This is bigger than Watergate.

And call your Senators to ask them to pause in the Gorsuch hearing and state your concerns.

  3. Darkladi says:

I think at this point, I’d welcome an alien 👽 invasion

  4. mia girl says:

My god, this guy is such an insecure moron.

  5. kNY says:

Every time I read his words or hear him speak, it’s alarming. He is so OBVIOUSLY unprepared and not up to task that it bothers me that anyone attempts to take him seriously.

    • Esmom says:

It’s how I felt during the campaign and especially during the debates. I still can’t believe anyone voted for such a moron, even in the primaries.

All the analysis about how he was elected…”the country was ready for change”…”they wanted an outsider”…isn’t helping. I still can’t get my head around it.

      • Megan says:

I heard an interesting theory this weekend about why younger white men voted for Trump – for the entertainment factor.

      • bluhare says:

Saw an article this weekend about a disabled woman who voted for Trump — and she depends on Meals on Wheels. She thought he was going to help her.

It must be very disillusioning to see someone who was supposed to help you take away your meals on wheels, and mess with your insurance. Although most of us saw it coming.

      • kNY says:

I saw that, too! She said, “I was under the influence he was going to help us.” She should have stopped at “under the influence.” She’s from Macon, Georgia, and I bet her vote was tinged with racism.

      • doofus says:

his voters knew people were going to get screwed over, but didn’t think that THEY would be part of the screwing over.

it’s why I don’t have much sympathy for them, because they had none for other folks who they KNEW were going to get screwed. too bad so sad.

      • Sadezilla says:

        @Doofus This, exactly this.

      • Christin says:

@Doofus – Exactly. A lot of them are fine if anyone but them gets shafted.

A vulnerable or working person voting GOP is like a chicken voting for a frying pan. But some still think it’ll be some other chicken.

      • The Other Katherine says:

Doofus — YES. So many Trump voters, like in the area where I grew up, essentially thought they were voting for white power, and as it slowly starts to dawn on them that everyone except the 1% is going to get screwed hard, they’re all, “But *I’m* white!” (h/t GOB on Arrested Development).

Zero sympathy for those folks over here.

      • Andrea says:

I know a woman who has an African American husband and mixed raced children who voted for Trump—it wasn’t all white people. She hoped he would reduce her prescription costs.

  6. Nicole says:

We in the business (of psych) like to call this projection.

  7. Dtab says:

Honestly…serious question, does his picks all have to hate someone?? Like why does Neil Gorsuch hate women? Does not not have a mother/grandmother/sisters/aunts/friends etc. I just don’t get it, why disrespect anyone for who they are. I am male (not that it matters) and I would never ever think of dismissing someone based on their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation etc. It really boggles my mind

    • nemera34 says:

You should talk to Trump and his people.. because they do dismiss people daily based on their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation etc.

and you can see that in the polices they are trying to push.

    • lower-case deb says:

he yearns to live in this past:
      http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/1663155
      or here
      http://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/12-crazy-vintage-household-ads

      i guess

basically a time when men can openly discuss spanking women and how best to do it. among other things in the good old days.

    • noway says:

I’m not a Gorsuch fan, but the story on the maternity leave and women is beyond weak. Several people in the class are not backing up this claim. I know people are scared and feel cheated with this pick, which they should, but he could be a lot worse. Look at Sessions at Judiciary or Carson at HUD. Trump does have a few people in the cabinet that don’t make me automatically hurl. Ironically they are the security and defense personnel that he really doesn’t listen to, but at least they seem better. We are probably stuck with Gorsuch as they may go nuclear and just require a majority if they can’t get a few Dems to vote for him. The good thing is I know a few guys who went to Georgetown Prep and knew him, plus a few lawyers who know him now. He really is a scholar of law, and even though he is personally conservative, he may not apply that to his decisions. As far as abortion, he has not actually ruled on anything close. Hopefully, the US will get lucky on this pick, and really have a person who take each case and the law seriously.

      • Kitten says:

I was having this debate with my BF today because I too think Gorsch could be a million times worse. He’s kind of made religious freedom his pet cause and while the Hobby Lobby ruling was hard to swallow, when you compare it with his other famous rulings, at the very least you see a pattern of consistency. He also ruled in favor of a Native American prisoner to have access to a sweat lodge while behind bars.

My argument with my BF was that of course he won’t hold liberal viewpoints, he’s replacing a seat left vacant by Scalia (a seat that McConnell STOLE from the Dems BTW) but Gorsuch does have a really good reputation from people who have worked with him in the past. That’s something, especially when contrasted against this cabinet full of crooks.

      • HappyMom says:

@Kitten-I’m with you. I’m pissed because Obama did not get his pick-but Gorsuch could be SO much worse that I think they should approve him. He’s not an ideologue-and there are some super awful people Trump could appoint. I think the Democrats need to save their ire for truly objectionable things.

      • Kitten says:

ITA, HappyMom. I noticed that Warren is saying she will not approve him but we gotta pick and chose our battles wisely right now. As you said, Gorsuch may not be ideal, but he is FAR better than many who could be chosen to replace him.

  8. minx says:

Well, I’m very happy to read that he thinks “the portrayal of me is ridiculous”–I’m sure that’s a huge understatement and that he is enraged about it.

  9. amy says:

He should have asked him about his expensive trips to Florida.

    • Beth says:

He would probably say how Obama used to golf and go to Hawaii. Just like Trumpsters always say. This guy is a joke. An expensive joke

  10. Tessa says:

For god sake. Korea just managed to impeach their president for showing her friend some speeches and some issue with a puppy. Why can’t we get rid already !!!!

    • Lightpurple says:

Because Paul Ryan is too busy having orgasms at the thought of destroying our healthcare system, shutting down hospitals and nursing homes, and bankrupting and killing people to do his job.

  11. Beth says:

Boo hoo! Whaaa! Bad people! They’re fake and meanies!! Get real, Chump. Grow up. Presidents of the free world can’t be so thin-skinned and babyish

  12. Kiki says:

What do expect from a Moron President and his moronic supporters (deplorables and not). This man is an insecure child that wants a woman to breast feed him. He hate women, he thinks Black people place is Rap Entertainer or Basketball and he is anti-immigrant (legal or illegal). What really makes me laugh is that he is still on Obama after he left office.

#MakeObamaGreatAgain. Cause that what Donald Trump is doing.

    • Kitten says:

His supporters are still on Obama and HRC as well.

You know, when Obama was president and the Right was constantly crying I don’t ever recall having to invoke GW Bush’s name in order to defend Obama; probably because for the most part, Obama’s policies were easy enough to defend on their own. It leads me to believe that deep-down, even Trumpsters know they got taken for a ride by this orange chimpanzee. Their only defense is deflection and denial, pointing to Obama saying “well he did _____” like the little children they are. I guess they learned well from the baby-fisted toddler that they elected.

      • original kay says:

I know. I don’t understand, though as this point I probably should, how they cannot separate the man from policies?

though both are terrible at this point.

not liking Obama’s policies is ok, but the man himself, was dignified, responsible, etc etc. everything trump is not.

      • Kitten says:

“though both are terrible at this point”

        This.
We all knew he was a morally-bankrupt shit stain of a human being before he got elected.
We also knew that he was alarmingly inexperienced; yet many of us held out hope that if he was surrounded by the right people, maybe he could avoid destroying the country.

After only a couple months in office, we now have confirmation that he is woefully unqualified; worse than any of us could have ever imagined.

Additionally, he continues to shows us that he is a man of poor temperament who struggles to conduct himself with even the most minimal professionalism in the face of world leaders.

He is the worst combination of unfit, unqualified, and unconscionable.

      • Shark Bait says:

Ughh they are so aggravating! They are still saying he is better than Obama and using Obama to justify his stupid ass Mar a Lago trips by saying Obama took trips too. I didn’t love everything Pres Obama did, but he was obviously and intelligent and empathetic man.

      • Kitten says:

Exactly….so their argument is that Obama was a terrible president. Ok, but Trump is a terrible human being AND a terrible president. More importantly. OBAMA ISN’T PRESIDENT ANYMORE.

  13. original kay says:

Didn’t he say Putin was doing great things for Russia?

I swear to god he said that, something like that. I hate him with every fibre of my being.

    • Megan says:

If he considers a contracting economy great, then I suppose Putin is doing great things.

    • agnes says:

Of course he said that, but he lives by “Was interessiert mich mein ‘Geschwätz von gestern (oder von vor 5 Minuten)?*”

*what do i care about my blabber from yesterday (or 5 minutes ago)?

  14. nemera34 says:

So he ends that last one with saying “the portrayal of me is ridiculous”. That says it all. It is all about him. And obviously what Alec Baldwin is doing is hurting his feelings. It is clear he watches SNL all the time. Why is he so sensitive to something that happens to every president. Bush/both got it all the time. Yet he is gutted by Alec’s portrayal of him. Howard Stern characterized him and I believe he was spot on. Trump needs and wants to be LOVED. That is why he runs to Florida every weekend. Why he still holds those dumb rallies. All to feel the love from his supporters. He’s like those people that you see that can have hundreds of friends; but they obsess over that one person that doesn’t like them. Trump is hurt by the medial coverage. He hats that the press is not kissing his fat ass. He lives for that. And he isn’t getting it. So they are “fake news”.

This a scary. SCARY. SCARY.. and #weareallgonnadie

  15. boredblond says:

Alec Baldwin ‘should make deals for the people’…wha???? Does he think the actor is a congressman or something? I’ve said a hundred times, this guy is so obviously not playing with a full deck.

    • lower-case deb says:

i think the one he’s referring to as the guy to make deals with people is Sen. Chuck Schumer?

but he was obviously not speaking sense anyway…. so who knows what he meant or who.

    • Christin says:

I wish he and Alec would trade jobs. Orange could return to NYC and reality shows and allow Alec to run the country.

    • Kitten says:

Yeah he was talking about Schumer but I also had to re-read that because I thought he meant Baldwin at first. Ugh.

      • Shark Bait says:

Glad I’m not the only one. Since the interviewer told him to pick one person I believe. Also “say one word about Elizabeth Warren.” I do not think should could win. Way more than one word there, Trump.

      • Kitten says:

Poor old man doesn’t even know how to count…smdh.

  16. RussianBlueCat says:

He really does not look healthy. I know the position of President can age a person, but he has aged so much in such a short period of time. Also his hair seems thinner and he has gained weight. I will never understand why he decided to run for public office. He is miserable when he can’t get his own way and can’t work with others( he prefers to order people around like he did in is company). He has now made himself and the United States a joke to the rest of the world. He is just a sad and angry old man now.

    • Angela82 says:

Agent Orange’s need to be loved went way too far. Hence now that his approval is at 37% all he wants to do is hold more rallies where people drink the kool-aid.

    • Christin says:

As long as the family can grift away on taxpayers’ money, I don’t see quitting in his future.

    • Joh says:

He ran for president because his bottom line was not doing well and he saw it as PR.
I don’t think he ever really thought that the Russian interference, states gerrymandering and his threats and call for goons to watch poling places would allow him to “win”

  17. Rapunzel says:

He’s whining on Twitter again about how the evil Dems are pushing the “fake news” Russia story, but the “leakers” need to be found. Once again, he doesn’t get that leaks and fake news are two different things. And he’s talking about himself in 3rd person.

    This is a nightmare.

  18. nemera34 says:

I was watching CNN New Day.. Trump is of course watching the “FAKE NEWS NETWORK” and tweeting about what they are talking about. How is poll numbers are down. That Fox News has higher ratings. This man is just losing his freaking mind. And why is he watching news shows he says are Fake. Why is he so obsessed over their coverage.

    • Chrissy says:

The question is, How the heck does he find the time to watch tv all day when he is the President and is supposed to run the country?” He just spend the whole weekend doing nothing in Florida and now he’s back in DC and he has time to watch daytime tv to hear stories about himself? The mind boggles…..

    • TheOtherOne says:

Geez, be kind. He has to watch Judge Mathias and Judge Judy to prepare for his legal defense. So be sensitive. (All sarcasm, folks)

  19. Eric says:

It’s Day 1 of the Emperor Zero/Russia reveal.
    Manafort, Stone, Page, Flynn, Sessions.

    drip…..Drip…..DRIP

  20. Beth says:

Why was this brat not showing his tax returns? Even some supporters wanted to see. Since he actually paid, what was he so afraid of? Just wanted to be an asswipe?

    • Christin says:

Purely a distraction. If I were betting, I’d say he or a close associate leaked those two ‘client copy’ stamped, 12-year-old pages.

  21. SusanneToo says:

Here’s a deplorable storyline that needs to be covered. Representative Useless B1tch Virginia Foxx(R-NC)is pushing a bill demanding genetic testing for health insurance. It has already passed a House committee, of course.
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/to-your-health/wp/2017/03/11/employees-who-decline-genetic-testing-could-face-penalities-under-proposed-bill/?utm_term=.9a8f72c5bc12

    • Lightpurple says:

And the House just passed a bill to allow states to mandate drug testing for people who apply for unemployment benefits. Because we need to punish people who just lost their jobs due to a corporation’s incompetence and business failings.

    • Deedee says:

Of course. This way, you can be denied a job or medical insurance. Wait until they get their results, though. They will find out they have problems of their own, and that info will be hacked too.

    • Christin says:

Yet those with a genetic trait may end up costing less than a person who simply wants to have repetitive surgeries for some time off. I’ve worked around people who master this art, and end up costing more time off and health care than some others with chronic issues.

The ‘maroons’ are in charge and showing their ignorance daily,

    • pinetree13 says:

What really frightens me about this is we now know that many genes can be turned ‘on’ or ‘off’. So someone can have a ‘bad’ gene associated with a certain disease but never actually have any issues with it whatsoever…. so they could now be unfairly charged a way higher rate or denied coverage, based on something that will never even be an issue for them.

  22. Angela82 says:

People who voted for this a$% and continue to support him need to suffer. I’ve lost all sympathy.

  23. Ginger Gal says:

Me too. I used to wake up and turn on my phone and think “what happened today?” now its just, “What horrible thing did 45 do today?”

  24. Kiki says:

This is what’s bugging me. If he is thinking that CNN, MSNBC and other news coverage (who btw is now doing their job) are so called “Fake News”. Then why is he talking about them so much. NO ONE IS NOT KISSING YOUR ASS DONALD TRUMP.

Gosh, I have run out of words for this Man that I can call other than IDIOT. Also, I am sick of hearing Donald Trump all the time, I don’t want wish this on anything or anyone around the world, but sometimes I wish Kim Kardashian should just cause another one of her publicity stunts again. Anything, I AM JUST SICK OF SEEING THIS ORANGUTAN ON MY TV SCREEN.

  25. Deedee says:

No, $hit for brains, there’s something wrong with you and your cronies. Can’t you tell from your approval ratings? After 2 months, you have to he absolute worst ratings!

  26. Anna nuttall says:

I read this morning that this approval rating has hit an all time low for a new president. I think 57% disapproved of him.
Quick question, does anyone here seriously think he will be impeached this year?

    • Mikasa says:

Yeah, his approval rating has hit a new low (37%). I don’t think he will be impeached, the GOP etc. will probably protect him.

    • Radley says:

I think impeachment is possible. It really hinges on the intelligence and whether or not they can bring forth proof of collusion and kickbacks as far as Russia is concerned.

They’ve got to corner these rats like Manafort and Flynn among others and make them talk under oath. Get the dirt on his helpers, threaten them with prosecution and they’ll flip. Also, look at his taxes and find out if that shell corporation that recently acquired part ownership in that Russian oil company belongs to Trump.

I believe our intelligence services and the justice department have the tools to get it done. If there’s enough proof, Congress will have to act. Many are already skating on thin ice with their constituents. They’ll be running to distance themselves from the corruption to save their own jobs. Just keep digging and putting the screws to them. Yes we can. LOL

    • K2 says:

I think he’ll be like Clinton: impeached, but then cleared by the actual trial.

If Republicans wise up to realizing the short term loss of power in getting him impeached is worth saving the country and their party, then yes, he will be very quickly disposed of.

Honestly, I’m surprised they’re still supporting him as much as they are, which makes me wonder just how deep into the Republican Party this Russian connection goes.

    • TheOtherOne says:

Can we convict Trump & Co. under RICO charges so they ALL get lengthy sentences?

  27. SusanneToo says:

But, but, he was WORKING SO HARD at Mar-a-Lago. Not wasting our money at all.

We need more kids’ stories for distraction! —– Cue ‘grandson breaks leg’ and son number two by wife number one is expecting stories, which have been posted on DM.

      • Lightpurple says:

Yup! All the Trumpsters are more concerned with the glory of Eric’s pending son and the sacrifices the new baby is making for us all.

      • Kitten says:

Yo the comments from Trumpets on Twitter for freaking weird, dude.
“Congrats on your beautiful child! You will be amazing parents!! ♥ ♥”

Like, do you know these people personally? O_O
        Trumpsters a whole different breed…

    • LA Elle says:

Personally, I take comfort in knowing America can support rich, entitled leeches in making sure they have a vacation while depriving the elderly of food.

It’s so patriotic and such a symbol of the best of America. It just really warms my heart and gives me hope for the future.

(And just to clarify: This is sarcasm)

    • TheOtherOne says:

And bring on the baby news. The Vampire Trump and wife is expecting a baby boy.

If anything, he gave Snoop a boost with all these new fans he had. Thanks, Dumpy!

  30. Radley says:

He’s intellectually and temperamentally unfit to serve, point blank period.

He’s too intellectually lazy for the job. He’s too paranoid to have good people around him. He’s a malignant narcissist who won’t take criticism or apologize for anything. He’s sailed through life failing and lying about it and thinks he can actually do that as President. He has no strongly held beliefs because his world revolves around who will suck up to him. That’s how he went from left wing to extreme right wing. He’s a sociopath who completely lacks the capacity for empathy.

What a dumpster fire of a human being. He simply cannot do the job. He has far too many cognitive, mental and emotional issues.

  31. Luca76 says:

Is anyone listening to the hearing????!!!!! Comey just confirmed their investigating the campaign.

    • SusanneToo says:

      Watching it now.

    • Kitten says:

      Oh snap. O_O
I noticed that he’s still tweeting about Clinton. The man is just so pathetic and desperate at this point that if I didn’t hate him with every cell in my body, I might actually feel an ounce of pity for him.

    • SusanneToo says:

Repubs trying to focus on leaks, Ooooh, leaks bad. Collusion okay. Can’t wait for Adam Schiff.

    • Tiffany says:

But what will be the outcome of the investigation. Comey does not at all scream impartial or bipartisan.

      • original kay says:

exactly. I just about choked when he said that they don’t comment on confidential investigations.

        no, they send letters instead.

      • Luca76 says:

I think Comey screwed up insanely during the election but I don’t think he’s a creature of Trump. He is clearly investigating. They seem to have enough on Flynn, Carter Page and a few others to start the ball rolling. It sounds like there is enough on public record to indict. Now they might cut a deal and talk and the rest is a House of Cards so to speak. Also paying attention to other things in politics we have the whole debacle concerning health care that are bringing Trump’s numbers down with his base. As well as alienating the other politicians he will inevitably throw under the bus when it becomes clear that its a toxic deal. The House has no real loyalty to him they would prefer President Pence. Its just a matter of poll numbers within the Republican Party.

      • original kay says:

know what Luca? I am starting to feel the same way.

I think he is actually helping. He totally answered about Russia and NATO, I thought he did a good job setting trump up.

      • nemera77 says:

I agree. His actions with Hillary were just so wrong. But I think he is on this Russian Hack and Collusion thing. And I think that is a line that he and others find offensive. But the whole way he threw Hillary under the bus makes me dislike him. Not because I loved Hillary; but because going forward he loss some of his credibility.

      • SusanneToo says:

The Dems are asking the tough, pertinent questions. Getting it on record.

      • original kay says:

Yes, I am watching and loving it. They are all working off each other to cast their own web that trump can’t escape.

      • Kitten says:

My BF said Dems are doing a great job. Very reassuring to hear and I’m glad these people are fighting for us.

    • LA Elle says:

Not watching, but I’m embarrassed to admit how excited I got when those updates popped up on my phone.

It’s like impeachment foreplay, only I’m at a point where I really don’t have the patience and just want to get on with it.

  32. K2 says:

    How is this man POTUS?

I just can’t get past that question. It’s been months, and I still can’t get past that question.

  33. Ruyana says:

It’s quite simple. He’s completely insane.

  34. Tough Cookie says:

“I don’t know how he’s doing for Russia, but I guess we’ll find out one day.”

wow…..the President of the United States, the Leader of the Free (for now) World….doesn’t know how Putin is doing for Russia? He “guesses” we’ll find out one day?

We are totally f@#&%ed. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

And yes, I threw up a little in my mouth at this:

“Don’t know him, but certainly he’s a tough cookie”

Now I feel like I need to change my name here. I feel dirty.

  35. Eric says:

Interesting the Comey CAN say they are investigating the Diaper Bigly/Russia collusion but CANNOT discuss any individuals (Manafort, Stone, Flynn et al).

Which means they are all being investigated by the FBI and possibly the NSA.

    It’s a wonderful Monday!

    • LinaLamont says:

      TREASON! LOCK THEM UP!
I, truly, hope we have a Bernstein/Woodward/DeepThroat team working on this, because, I don’t trust anyone in this current regime to allow impartial and full investigations.

      • Ruyana says:

Yes, because Republicans always hold true to their rule: “It’s okay if you’re a Republican”.

But let a Democrat do *the exact same thing* and we’ll never hear the end of the pearl clutching and investigations.

Republican defense is always along the lines of, “But mommy, he hit me first!”

    IMPEACH NOW.

  39. Deeanna says:

For someone who has a great need to be loved by the public, the short-fingered vulgarian has to be in a special kind of misery. Talk about being in the wrong job!

It is painfully obvious that neither Trump nor his “close team members” knew or know the first thing about governing. Two months out today and he’s done very little, hasn’t made needed appointments. He screws himself up – left, right, and daily.

As for his supporters, well, poor them. Anyone who was blind enough or stupid enough or whatever enough to vote for him is going to be all surprised when they finally perceive that Trump is not a man who speaks much truth? Okaaaaay…

It seemed the Congress was going along with the whole “give him a chance” attitude until the whole “Obama-was-wiretapping-me” tweets, and the ensuing double-down and triple-down on those unlikely accusations.

Trump is so out of it – whether by personality, senility or mental illness that he just can’t stop with the ludicrous tweeting. Talk about compulsive! But, hey, this is surely contributing to those falling approval numbers.

I’m hoping to see the first use of Article 4 of the 25th Amendment.

One of the top local evening news stories is about how budget cuts will negatively affect a regional free/reduced cost medical care service. I try to donate to local causes like this, and would normally feel compelled to help them out right now. But this may be the one and only time that this consistently red voting area finally wakes up.

Seems every other day we learn at a local level about programs being eliminated or severely reduced, including traveling medical services and rural transportation that thousands utilize. Sadly, this may need to happen so these red-voting areas will realize that they have been conned ‘bigly’.

  42. jana says:

Trump’s spool, that has been slowly unwinding, just hit the hill~we are about to witness what happens to a full blown egomaniac when he has no where else to turn.

  43. robyn says:

I saw the hearing and came to the conclusion that Republicans care more about “leaking” and keeping their little dictatorship going than about Russia staging what looks like a cyber coup with the help of Trump who still can’t say a bad word about Putin. Trump supporters at the rallies screaming USA USA might as well sing the Russian anthem for all they care about America or their fellow American citizens.

  44. Voldielocks says:

Don’t you dare say that about my beloved Chris Hayes, Drumpfy! Haha, not that I would ever put any stock into what he says. When you insult literally everything & everyone, it starts to lose its meaning. 🙄
