There are rumors swirling that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are expecting their second child together. Daughter Sunday Rose (or Sunday Roast, if you prefer) was born last July to great fanfare in Nashville (born on a Monday, I might add). Nicole turns 42 years old on June 20th, and Keith is 40 years old. The main reason people seem to be gossiping about Nicole’s womb seems to be for two reasons. First, she was photographed with a “bump” recently, which could mean she’s either pregnant or she’s just started looking less fragile and emaciated (good for her). Secondly, she’s gone back to her bright red hair after spending the past five years or so trying to convince us she’s a strawberry blonde. I don’t really see what the red hair has to do with babies, considering she was doing that blonde stuff to her hair throughout her pregnancy with Sunday, but whatever:
HAS lightning struck twice for Nicole Kidman?
Word in Hollywood is that Kidman — who recently dyed her hair back to her natural color, red, and has been sporting a poochy stomach — is pregnant again.
Kidman and husband Keith Urban have one child, Sunday Rose, but Kidman’s talked about her trouble getting pregnant in the past — and how she’d like more children.
A rep for Kidman said, “Not to my knowledge,” but we say, good luck!

I don’t doubt that Nicole would like another baby, and if she is pregnant, good for her. But I doubt it. Then again, I have significant bias about Nicole’s first pregnancy - I tended to think there was something sketchy about the whole deal, but I’m probably in the minority. In any case, with Sunday’s gestation, Nicole announced her pregnancy in the first trimester. So why wouldn’t she tell us this time?
Note by Celebitchy: I don’t think Nicole is pregnant as she doesn’t have much of a tummy at all. She sometimes has that tiny “pooch” but it’s very small and doesn’t mean she’s expecting.

I agree Gracie - that first pregnancy was shady - confirmed fraud to me when she was photographed 10 days after giving birth in white low cut skinny jeans.

Tassi, this is very true. Anyone who has actually given birth would never wear white jeans-no matter the size-10 days after delivery. We’ll just say “TMI” and leave it at that.

I had a baby a few months before she did - and I STILL look preggers! Ugh. I find that your belly gets a little pouchy also from leaning back and carrying the baby on your front or side.

Just to play devil’s advocate- If her sister did carry her baby, wouldn’t there have been pictures of her pregnancy? First, she (her sister) is fairly well known herself in Australia and plus, I think the Aussie press would have tried to get the scoop.

I’ve always secretly believed that Nicole might have gotten an egg from her younger sister to be fertilized by her husband’s sperm, and then transferred to Nicole (IVF with a donor egg). Just like Tom is rumored to have gotten donor sperm from his cousin, I suspect that she might have had fertility problems, too. We’ll never know, but I always liked Nicole and if she’s pregnant a second time, great and congratulations. I know her best friend Naomi Watts just had a second baby and maybe Nicole has baby fever. Now is the time to do it, too.

I don’t usually buy into conspiracy theories, but the white jeans 10 days after birth ARE very telling. Anyone who’s had a baby would agree- it’s just not something you would wear…

Yes, Nicole didn’t behave like “normal” woman after a childbirth. Nobody has a flat stomach after the childbirth. Fishy!

I am also a Nicole pregnancy doubter. One thing that occurred to me when seeing the picture of her daughter with blond hair, is that her daughter should more likely than not also have red hair. The gene for it is passed down from the mother. Of course there are the other reasons such as those mentioned above to doubt she was pregnant with Sunday, but the hair thing may be one more clue.

Conspiracy theories aside, I”m so happy for Keith and Nicole. They generally seem so happy with their family life and they both deserve to live a happy life after all their struggles. Good for them…much happiness in the future.

Meh. I had a boss once who I visited in the hospital a few hours after she had her 2nd baby. My hand to God, she looked like she was ready for a bikini a few HOURS after giving birth.
Granted she had a vaginal birth. If NK had a c/s and was wearing low cut jeans 10 days later, I would definitely call bullshit though.

Genetics aren’t that simple–plus hair color changes, particularly in babies. And while male pattern baldness is passed down through the mother, I have never heard that color is determined that way.
God forbid Nicole should have a little bloating, BTW.
But whether she is or isn’t pregnant, or how she came to be Sunday’s mother…well, I just don’t care that much.

That’s not really that telling. Genetics are weird. I’m half Hispanic, my husband white. I have black hair and he has dirty blonde hair. Our daughter has red hair.
Anyway, the white pants are weird. Considering you bleed heavily for a while after giving birth.
But considering she didn’t show much and is tall, it’s not weird to me that she got her body back. Every woman carries differently. -
Nicole’s natural hair color is blonde not red (not saying that she wasn’t coloring it though, just that she hasn’t gone back to her “natural” color).
Some women’s bodies just snap back after giving birth. With both of my pregnancies I was pre-pregnancy thin within two weeks of giving birth. I did nothing to make this happen. I did have wicked night sweats though which is presumably how the water retention went away.
I believe that Nicole delivered her baby. If she was faking a pregnancy, she would have made it look far more realistic to avoid whispers.

I had my daughter and 9 days out of the hospital was in 9 junior slim fit jean, before i had her I was in a 10 misses 11 juniors. I lost weight during because A)terrible morning sickness B) I just ate so much healthier during pregnancy.I don’t think how little you are right after really means anything.

Are you ALL insane??? White jeans ten days after birth…I think you are all referring to how much you BLEED after you have a baby. Well maybe she wore absorbent disposable underpants? Who knows…certainly more plausible then her sister had her baby…her sister who had another child of her own not to long past AND has gone through a messy divorce…riiiiiiiiiiiight.
And being such a public figure and all it would be SO easy to ‘fake’ a pregnancy with the level of scrutiny they were under up until Nic gave birth. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Quite a few members of this comment forum have room temperature IQs.

I don’t buy it. Kidman has notoriously looked VERY pregnant in the past (remember their honeymoon pics?) when she hasn’t been. In fact, often times more so than when she actually was with child. Who knows with these two. If so, then congrats!

Perfectly possible. More than likely she had to. I just think it’s a dangerous line to walk. I wouldn’t have been brave enough. But I think the amount of time a woman bleeds varies. Some bleed for a over a month and some stop at a week. Maybe she was one that didn’t bleed for very long.“I believe that Nicole delivered her baby. Does anyone remember when Kate Holmes was pregnant and her bump seemed to grow and shrink?

Laineygossip had photos yesterday of Nicole & Keith out and about-and she absolutely looks pregnant. (Well, pregnant for her, normal for the average woman.) She also dropped out of her next project that was scheduled to start shooting soon.
