They'd have to have real reason to arrest her, or they could be up on charges of false arrest. I don't know the facts either, so I guess we'll have to wait until it all comes out. If this is true, it's good that the police found out about it before the boy was seriously injured or killed. This way, he can be rescued, especially since his dad is famous. Sorry, but child protection services are notoriously not on the ball when it comes to many cases of horrendous abuse/murder. Either they have "known" about the family for years or were supposedly "monitoring" the situation, which means faked/non-existent checks on the child in the home.
