The brother of 23 year-old Reading, Pennsylvania teacher Deanna Hummel is still trying to cash in on his sister’s alleged affair with “Jon & Kate Plus 8” dad Jon Gosselin. Jason Hummel was all too willing to confirm his sister’s affair to US Weekly last month, and told the tabloid that he overheard her having sex with Jon, who often came over to the house they shared. He also recounted a funny story in which Jon came to first came to visit bearing a half eaten pizza and some iced tea.

Deanna has denied an affair with Jon, and Jon has denied “cheating” on Kate. He could have been mincing words because rumor has it that Kate drew up a contract allowing them both to see other people as long as the reality show continued taping.

Now Deanna’s brother Jason has to come up with another way to keep the money coming in after he sold out his sister. Jason is quoted as saying that he wants to put his sister’s bed, where she allegedly slept with Jon, on eBay:

The brother of a woman who allegedly fooled around with “Jon & Kate Plus 8” reality star Jon Gosselin wants to sell his sister’s bed and mattress.

Schoolteacher Deanna Hummel, 23, has been spotted at late-night bars with Gosselin, although both deny an affair.

But her brother, Jason Hummel, insists his sister and Gosselin have been hot and heavy.

Since Jason went public, Deanna has moved out of the Hummel home, leaving her queen bed behind.

“I want to put the bed on eBay,” Jason said. “I want to see how much some crazy fan will pay.”

The TV parents were apart again this weekend, with Kate and their eight kids relaxing at a North Carolina beach resort — minus Jon.

“Jon & Kate” cameras were rolling the whole time, guests said. So it looks like the vacation to Bald Head Island will be at least one episode this year.

“She didn’t seem unhappy,” one local resident told people.com. “She actually seemed to be in a good mood; she was making jokes with everyone.”

Jason Hummel called it “gross” and “nast” to have overheard his sister getting it on with a semi-famous married father of eight. Those words come to mind with this story too. No one will want to buy a used bed, but there might be some publicity in it and if he’s lucky an online casino might pay a few thousand. Times are hard and the guy has to make ends meet however he can.

Many of you have said that Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin are in it for the money too. I believed their account, but the truth expert over at Eyes for Lies agrees that Jodi doesn’t have the best interests of the children in mind. She writes “If Aunt Jodi cares for her eight nieces and nephews, she wouldn’t go to the media herself and air the family’s dirty laundry.”

Kate Gosselin was seen rocking a two piece on a vacation in North Carolina yesterday while filming scenes for her show. Her probably estranged husband, Jon, was not there with them. Jon was spotted at a Tumi store in New Jersey on Saturday with two women “one older, the other youngish.”
