Mr. and Mrs. Pratt are finding that things are not all pleasant in paradise. On the first day of filming for the reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, the couple tried to get out of their contract and leave the show. The premise is to Survivor the way The Surreal Life was to The Real World, except that the viewers, not the celebrities, decide who gets voted off.
It seems that Spencer and Heidi thought this was more like an episode of The Hills than Survivor, and expected to be put up in a hotel. From the very first day, they refused to eat the food that everyone else had to eat, and complained about the B-list celebrities they were competing with, including Janice Dickinson and Stephen Baldwin.
The duo tried to quit NBC’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! the very first day they arrived in Costa Rica to shoot the “C-listers in distress” reality show, which premieres Monday.
“They wanted to be treated like stars,” a high-level source on the series tells E! News’ Ryan Seacrest. “[Spencer] literally thought he and Heidi were staying in a Four Seasons, working out and getting a tan.”
The two refused to eat the same food as the rest of the cast, and complained about being teamed with low-wattage stars, among them former model/reality-show queen Janice Dickinson, actors Stephen Baldwin and Lou Diamond Phillips, former NBA star John Salley and American Idol castoff Sanjaya Malakar. An NBC exec had to coax the newlyweds to remain on board.
“I wish they got some real celebrities like K-Fed,” groused Montag, per the network insider.

You may be wondering, “in what world is K-Fed a ‘real’ celebrity?” Well I’ll tell you: In the same world where Spencer gets to try his hand at being a rap star. We’ve already forced you to listen to Spencer’s new rap “I’m a Celebrity,” but now there is a video as well. It features only Spencer and Heidi driving around in a jungle and dancing with iguanas. In other words, a cinematic masterpiece.

I believe it is VERY naive to think these idiots want off the show. Remember: these are the two biggest manipulators of the press ever. Viewers vote who gets off the show. I think they are using the media to have people “punish” them and keep them on the show–> therefore winning.
I think they want to stay on, I don’t believe a word of this.

Would never watch or listen to it again, but it hasn’t made me want to quit the internet for life like Heidi’s videos.
I do think by now he knows his career is simply just having people hate him. -
Of course they don’t want to get off the show…Spencer’s song is the same name as the show, for cryin’ out loud. I couldn’t even make it through the “video.” If this is rap, then I’m a rapper, too. Get me some amphibians, a beat, and I’m all set.

I’m convinced that they are making this super craptastic music solely to provoke a negative reaction. It reinforces the hate that everybody has toward them, and keeps the media machine paying attention. It’s their shtick, and they seem to be good at it. Go figure.

Brad Paisley and Liz said it right - the more negative press you get in the tabloids, the higher your price. Speidi is brilliant in their manipulation of the public. They are raking in the $$$!

I watched 5 minutes of this crap and that was enough to bring out the dark side. I wanted to strangle Pratt with my bare hands. What a f&ckwit. Master manipulator (and I use the term Master loosely) he may be but there’s no hiding the fact he’s a poor excuse for a human being.
Your description of these people as B-list was mighty generous, I’m thinking they’re most in the D to F range.

Yeah just so you guys know, she was crying because during one of her many tantrums with Spencer in which they pretended to leave the show, someone decided to use up all her dry shampoo and rip off the label. Yeah.

Heidi and spencer are soo ridiculous. After watching this show, I feel like not watching anything with them in it just to avoid giving them ratings. Janice said it right “those are two spoiled little kids“. I never even considered heide and spencer celebrities. lol. And they thought they were the only celebrities on the show?? They never even did anything to entertain. All they did was have their pathetic lives taped for our amusement. Spencer being a lazy bum bumming off of his parents and heidi begging lc to be her friend for like 10 years..lol get over it sweetie she doesn’t want to be your friend anymore!
