Oh Harry, you lovely, crazy-suits-wearing human, you.

  2. SM says:

I had such a sweet laugh with this one https://youtu.be/T1cIoZACSwE. And I really needed one. I think Corden is thr best in terms of entertainment. Stephen Colbert should just focus on political commentary and leave the celebrity bit to Corden.

Yes!! The “Harry and James have a Singing Problem” skit, that’s my favorite as well. The pallbearer / Mambo Number 5 bit kills me.

Harry’s been spot-on all week on the Late Late Show. Fantastic live performances; I loved his solo, acoustic “Two Ghosts” especially.

He also did a great job delivering James’ monologue (in a glorious green velvet suit).

Harry styles is…my spirit animal, or something. I just adore him. 🙂

(me: 44 yo mom. I listen to everything from 70’s/80’s punk and classic rock to 90’s-00’s Tool, Rage, Prodigy, also Techno/breaks. Some classic rap. Not a lot of pop/top 40. My point: Harry’s pulling in a musically diverse audience!)

      • Jen says:

SAME, except 42. Also, I’m into lots of Beatles & Stones, 70’s rock, 80’s, 90’s grunge/indie, 2000’s indie/folk, etc. Also speed/thrash metal, and classical. Not a pop person either. Big music nerd. I c u rocking Gucci like it’s Nudie, Harry. He’s got a great sense of music history, which all the old ladies can appreciate.

Omg, i’m finding him cuter and cuter and sweeter and sweeter. I’m a cougar.

    • pinetree13 says:

Fellow cougar here. Although I feel like he’ll be a lot better looking in like 5 years when he loses more of the baby-face look. So does that make me less of a cougar? ha!

I am loving Harry Styles too! Seems like such a sweet guy, I LOVE his new album, and somehow he pulls off those crazy outfits with style.

  4. Ol says:

cant fault his work ethic, hes everywhere at the moment. But honestly this era has really mediocre boring male popstars..

  5. L says:

I thought I would hate the new SG song but I actually kind of like it.
I get some sort of a summer 90s vibe sound from it for some reason.

  6. scar says:

Why are we trying to make fetch happen? And his new stuff is flopping. Hard. Sign Of The Times went down the iTunes charts faster than anything

    • Ol says:

Because this is the era of the white mediocre male pop star, see Ed Sheeran.

I mean the only above average male pop star in this generation is Bruno Mars. Everyone Else is so boring and bland.

    • pinetree13 says:

I actually really enjoy that song. It’s perfect to drive to. Ed Sheeran I can see why he’s popular but all his stuff is just ‘meh’ to me. Bruno mars is really good.

    • Carolyn says:

It’s currently number 8 on the Itunes charts. He’s doing extremely well for himself.

      • Jessie says:

Number 8 would be extremly good if he was someone like Julia whatever her names is, her debut song ‘issues’ sat in top 10, between 3-10 for a few weeks. However this is the golden boy from 1D he has the biggest record contract since Mariah or something. Millions is being spent on making him massive. He’s got The azoffs network behind him, he’s basically the best connected best supported of all the boys in 1D yet he isnt doing that much better than Niall ( who is doing surprisingly well without half the hype Harry gets) and zayn with next to no promo had a bonafide number 1 hit.In that context wouldnt call number 8 on iTunes extremly good. Lets not exaggerate. Too much hype around this guy already.

    • diane says:

The album is currently #1 in the UK so….

      • Ol says:

Hes always gonna do well in the UK hes a superstar there. The real test is the US. I mean everytime i open up social media and YouTube theres an ad for styles.. Its the most aggressive marketing campaign Winge sheeran. So it wont be for lack of resources.

    • mar_time says:

Scar his album is number 1 how is that a flop??

    • virginfangirl2 says:

I hope his album does well because I absolutely his sound. I even bought his album, which I almost never do. I’m a bit addicted to it right now. But I started to dislike pop so much in the last couple years I turned to country, so I’m not sure I like what most like.

  7. Maraidh says:

Harry is really delightful and charming. What a pleasant surprise. The “Carpool Karaoke” segments are hilarious. My fav all time episode was when James had Bruno Mars in the car.

    • Dolkite says:

Still hard for me to forgive him for giving that idiot Chewbacca Mom more press.

  8. Poop says:

    James McAvoy?

  9. Delta says:

Exactly, see if he stays #1 after inflated sales numbers got him there (in the US at least, sales were bumped by tickets to his concerts). He was marketed as the next Adele so he should have sold buckets more than he did. Instead he’s pandering to the larries one minute and pushing the sex drugs and rock n roll narrative the next, exploiting this fake Townes/Carolina weirdness, and acting like he was way too good for 1D. And he sang a Taylor song on Carpool. Ugh, bye. Give me Liam, Niall, and Louis any day.

    • N. says:

Sweety, you gave yourself away there… you gotta lern to hide your agenda

    • anya says:

Well there was NO TSwift music on it so your “facts” are already wrong.

He’s doing great! For one thing his song is about twice as long to play as anyone else’s so that would affect the numbers. He could have booked arenas to connect to album sales but Harry wants the nostalgia of a time that passed before him. He has always been a domestic, old school loving music man and he WANTS this experience his way and his record company is allowing it for now. As for the rest of your complaints about Townes/Carolina, no one outside Tumblr cares.

Harry expresses himself differently and not as enthusiastically as we might like but he has always shown the utmost respect for the group and their music. I mean the most supportive thing he could do, he did! HE STAYED WITH THE GROUP!

    • Exxie says:

He didnt sing a TS song, stop with the lies pls, he could sell much more to arenas but he didnt, zayns only headlines about gigi so what are you about here? I hope he will be successful despite ppl like you tryin to depress one d fans with this kinda bs.

  10. Sarah says:

I don’t understand why People are so bitter about Harry styles? he does have a lot of support but also HE DOES have a wonderful record and it is selling well, is very appreciated that he did something different , everything you listen in the radio is the same thing the same sound , it’s getting annoying that “artists” don’t do anything different. Harry styles has brought something different is very old school which is very cool!,
Also he sold his tour in seconds everywhere!
I love love what he is doing
So if you don’t like his music is fine, but don’t say lies just because you don’t like him!

  11. anon says:

He’s such a lovely boy. I don’t understand why some people are so hateful towards him

  12. Mimi says:

As a fan of One Direction, it’s sad to see fans becoming so divided and bitter and taking that out on the boys. It feels as if all of their solo projects are so different that there should be no need to act as if one is going to steal the other’s thunder. Love it or hate it, Harry has always been the most charismatic one of the group. There are better, more talented singers (Zayn & Liam), better leaders (Louis), and more mainstream, less polarizing members (Niall) in the group but he had the IT factor from the beginning and he is the best performer of all of them. I think that even when his songs are not the greatest, he can elevate them with his own stage presence. Sign of the Times was initially underwhelming to me but the performance on Corden’s show was brilliant and now I can’t stop listening to it; same with Kiwi.

Im 36 and wondering why I am finding this guy completely and utterly delicious.
