Did Beyonce already give birth to the twins yesterday, or was it last week?

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards hosted by James Corden as seen on CBS.

I keep waiting to cover the Bey-news until we actually get the real Bey-news, but apparently we aren’t going to get a confirmation about anything. Maybe if we all put our heads together and pray to the Almighty Beysus, we’ll get some kind of confirmation about Beyonce’s twins. A week ago – or longer? – there was a lot of Twitter rumoring going around that Beyonce was seen at an LA hospital and that Tina Knowles was there and that THE TWINS WERE COMING. And then nothing happened. The same thing is happening this week. There have been Beyonce sightings at UCLA Medical Center, according to The Shade Room’s source.

And still no confirmation. No one knows. Considering Beyonce waited until Black History Month to announce the pregnancy (#LikeABoss), do you really think she would have given birth on Donald Trump’s 71st birthday? Come on, people. The first rule of the Knowles-Carter family is that even newborn babies understand the proper timing. The babies are chilling, I suspect. Either that or she already gave birth a week ago and she’s just waiting to announce the babies with another spectacular photoshoot.

Some tweets about the Beybies.

Folks need to chill. Beyoncé will announce the beybabies birth when she’s good and ready.

  2. Kristen says:

Do we even know her due date or anything?

I can’t wait to hear their names! Will they stick with colors? Red and Yellow Carter? Green and Maroon? Or maybe stick with the same color family: Teal and Cerulean?

  3. Alex says:

We won’t know for a good minute. WHich is fine I think celebs should wait because paps are vultures when it comes to babies.
But yea I’m pretty sure she had them this week

  4. nemera34 says:

I haven’t been following Bey that much. But I don’t see the Hysteria around this birth that some are seeing. I must be looking in the wrong places.

    • mellie says:

Agree, I think the Clooney’s did it right…quit acting like your kids are the end all “bey” all. Just announce it like they did and move on.

      • nemera34 says:

Actually the Clooneys have been leaking and dropping information about the births since the babies were born. George’s father has been doing a lot of interviews about it. So they haven’t exactly announced and moved on. I don’t think they get that the frenzy over celebrity babies ended about 8 years ago.

      • Kate says:

George Clooney has his dad all over UK media talking about his son, his daughter-in-law and the babies sooooo

      • BJ says:

NIck Cloooney has done several interviews here in the US too.

As an L&D nurse, I would just like to say that twins are monitored EXTREMELY closely as the due date nears, even more so if they are sharing a placenta or amniotic sac. It is very likely she has to go in for fetal stress tests multiple times per week, which would take place at the hospital in case they were found to be in distress.

    • Betsy says:

I’m no nurse, but that’s, what I was thinking. It’s not exactly uncommon for an AMA mother to need extra monitoring, let alone with twins.

  6. Lemonade and Hot Sauce Carter?

  7. Babs says:

I wish she had/will have a safe delivery! Can’t wait for the names and seeing the BIC as a big sister!

  8. Rose says:

Hasn’t she got another month to go? She didn’t look thaaaaat big in the last photo and when my colleague had twins she was unbelievably enormous. So i wonder if there’s just a bit longer to wait?

  9. boredblond says:

If she already gave birth, I thank her for not eliciting some oh-so cutesy press release

    • applepie says:

      Don’t worry, its coming…yawn

    • TyrantDestroyed says:

Her P.R. spoke-person is already preparing to write the press release by drinking a bottle of maple syrup and bitter grapefruit juice at the same time, to achieve the same tone than the last one.

  10. Becki says:

Towards the end of a twin pregnancy, you see the Dr ALL.THE.TIME. She’s probably going in for check ups/ultrasounds/etc.

    • Chetta B. says:

At least we know this time she is actually pregnant. Given the way she looks and what we’ve seen so far, now I’m sure the first “pregnancy” was bogus. Ivy is JZ’s kid for sure Beyonce did not give birth to that child.

      • scar says:

No she didn’t. Chetta B did! Chetta B is Blue Carter’s real mother. FOH with this old ass Beyoncé didn’t give birth to her kid shit.

      • Elyse says:

Her name is Blue, not Ivy. Clearly some people don’t like the name Blue and want to use her middle name instead, but her name is Blue and to our knowledge as the public, she goes by Blue.

    • Chetta B. says:

Sorry, I did mean to say Blue Ivy. I like the name Blue. But you’ll never convince me that Beyoncé was pregnant with her, nope. It’s not like I’m the only person who believes it, either. That “pregnancy”? 100% bogus 😉

  11. Kate says:

Black twitter is going to be glorious once she gives birth. And then, the day after, we will have a lot of hot takes about how it’s nothing special, why are we rejoicing, blah blah. I can’t wait.

    • QQ says:

SAME !!!! The Read will be DELICIOUS, All the Black Podcasts are going to celebrate in Community as we do!… but…. Think of the Think Pieces!!!, if this Comment Section already needs some hydration to deal with their Excess sodium?? THINK. OF.IT

  12. BJ says:

Last week Jay wasn’t even in this country,he was in Jamaica.
Yesterday Miss Tina was at Disneyland all day.
As others have said we don’t know when the twins are due,it could be July,August,…

  13. Michelle says:

I think we should just all go about our daily lives and the world will continue to revolve whether or not we find out if she has given birth. It is not the second coming of the Messiah. Give it a rest. She is over-hyped IMHO. Just hope that things go well and they are healthy…regardless of when they get here.

  14. Dumbledork says:

Hopefully they don’t keep parents of babies in the NICU from seeing their kids like they did the last time. Otherwise, best of luck to them and the new little ones.

  15. Shannon says:

Stuff like this makes me soooo glad I’m not famous. It’s bad enough just living in a small town and having people up in my business; I can’t imagine having my childbirth stalked LOL
