She made a big big mistake hooking up with Federline when she was a lot younger and now she is paying for that for a long time to come. I don’t think the father is to blame. Others around her were a lot worse than him. Federline has not worked a day since he met Britney. How do you think he supports his lavish life and 5 children? With my money or your money? No . But We all know how.

You need to get over the lip syncing thing all of Hollywood is fake you just have no idea how much is fake.
The problem is the bums in her life that don’t work. If K-fat has a nanny then why don’t he get out and work. Who needs to sit at home and watch the nanny watching your child. That’s why he is fat now. Laying around living off child support money.
No way should Britney pay for his ex-girl friend children.
He should have to work to and send money to the girlfriend children.
If you are not on stage in her show performing a job then no one beside her kids should get her money.
I do agree that her dad has help. Her dad step in and ran the trash out of her life. The creeps that were feeding her drugs. If not for her dad she could be dead. Why do her mom need money from her, she should work instead of waiting for money.
I would feel bad if I knew my own mom was sitting around waiting for money from me.

Since she lip synchs at her concerts Brit could hire an impersonator who would keep the $$$ machine going so none of the vampires that surround her have to work, take off to some place in northern Canada for awhile to chill and spend time with her kids.

Good post, Someone. I agree that K-Fat is disgusting. She’s probably supporting not only him, her two kids, his ex-girlfriend and her two kids, but his new girlfriend, his parents, brothers, etc. Let’s face it, he has good nannies and is very savvy in working poor Britney’s situation to his own advantage. She doesn’t have relationships, but hangers-on.
For a great book about women, madness, and patriarchy, try Charlotte Gilman Perkins’ (or Perkins Gilman?) The Yellow Wallpaper. A true feminist classic and so chilling.

LIKE LINDSEY LOHAN, the girl cannot run her own life. She had too many freedoms, and that, combined with her emotional immaturity, is a deadly combination. She has to work, and control her spending. Aside from attorney bills, she still has ridiculously huge expenses. She needs a conservator.

I’ve seen how utterly debilitating depression and other mental disorders can be. I’m afraid this is a kind of a catch-22 situation where there is no easy answer, but setting her “free” would certainly cause her demise in a hurry. A person like this having full freedom, and being a mother of 2 small boys, with no structure to her life would be like handing her gasoline and a match.

I agree that Britney went thru a bad time and needed help, and her dad helped her get back on her feet..But I also saw the bills that Britney has to pay, that have nothing to do with her lifestyle..K-fats legal bills….please, let him get a job and pay for his children, instead Britney is supporting all of them, including K-fats girlfriend…For her father to be totally in charge of her life, money, who she sees and where she goes, is extremely disturbing…

I remember Britney running with that pap Adnan-what was that about.
What about that Sam creep. Britney couldn’t seem to control herself or her life. If she is left on her own she may return to those days.
Every one around Britney is using her, K-fed included. He has Britney paying his child support for Shar’s kids that’s so not right. That man is lazy and don’t want to work. True every man around Britney seem to be men that are not holding jobs and gravitating to her because she is a cash cow. I really hope the new guy really loves her and not her money like K-fed did. Poor girl need a break for a change.

Those of you voicing anger against Jaime seemed to be coming from an emotional place. Realistically, Britney has talked about nothing but wanting to perform since before she was sick, while she was sick and now while she is apparently dealing (to some extent) with her illness. Most addictive personalities carry their addictive qualities over into their work and become workaholics. It’s a common symptom of type A personalities and addicts in general. I think she is where she wants to be and much of this media information is inaccurate or utilized for publicity purposes and nothing more. As independent women it’s hard for us to sit back and watch someone else take over another woman’s life but we all need to remember that this particular women was not “independent” as little as a year ago. In fact she was extremely dependent upon drugs, alcohol and various nefarious people who were taking advantage of us. Surely she is in a better place now than she was then. This tour will come to an end soon and Brit will have all the time she wants to shop, suntan, play and enjoy her kids. Let’s also remember that the last time Britney wanted to bail on a tour she was in love with KFed and wanted to get married. She’s getting pretty close to her manager and maybe they want to move onto a quieter life together. Let’s hope that can happen after she fulfills her contractual duties, meets Dad’s requirements for independence and pleases the court as well.
