Just Jared points us to these photos of burlesque goddess Dita Von Teese, 36, at the airport in Paris last week with her new boyfriend, a 25 year-old French count named Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, the son of fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. (Thanks Bellatrix.) The two were also seen together at Coachella in late April, with the NY Post reporting that Dita was “robbing the cradle”:
DITA Von Teese (above) has a new romance with a French aristocrat 11 years younger. The ex-Mrs. Marilyn Manson, 36, is dating Count Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, 25, the actor-son of fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and his stunning ex-wife Catherine de Castelbajac, who dated Bill Koch and the late Ron Silver. Dita and her new beau were recently spotted at the Coachella Music Festival. “We’re all shocked they’re together,” a pal of Castelbajac told us. “She’s really robbing the cradle.” Von Teese’s rep didn’t get back to us.

An 11 year age difference is hardly “robbing the cradle,” but you would expect to hear an obnoxious statement like that from Page Six. Back in February, Dita gave a revealing and somewhat titillating interview to the UK’s Fabulous Mag in which she said that she’s not in relationships for keeps and enjoys her torrid affairs with no happy ending necessary:
“I don’t think I’m the sort of girl who’ll be celebrating a 75th anniversary with a man. I actually enjoy rollercoasters of life, and with great passion sometimes comes great heartbreak. I think I’ll end up belonging to the club of glamorous women like Lana Turner and Betty Grable, who had big, adventurous love affairs. The road less travelled can be more frightening, but it’s a lot of fun.”
Then she pauses and adds: “The only thing is, at the moment I’m definitely not looking at musicians. I’m attracted to normal, sweet-looking guys in sweaters. I’m finished with the leather trousers and eyeliner types.
“You can have a rollercoaster ride with a nice guy in a sweater.”

Was Count Louis-Marie de Castelbajac Dita’s “nice guy in a sweater” back then or is he new? He hardly seems like the vanilla type she was referring to, but it’s possible. Good for Dita for landing a hot one and 11 years isn’t that much. That doesn’t even come close to approaching the 28 year age gap between Madonna and Jesus Luz.

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is the major French fashion designer.You’ve got to give it to the boy: he sure knows how to play the buzz card when his first real exhibition is happening. He likes to think of himself as an artsy person. From what I’ve seen, he’s pretending to do so with very little effort. Geronimo: if only you’d seen the rest. This is very much representative of the entire “thing”. It took me less than a minute to figure out the place to be during the exhibition opening was the bar. I really tried to stare into a few pieces in order to “get it”. But I didn’t “get it”. Or maybe it was “it” that didn’t get me.
I’ve seen better drawings on the walls of a child psychiatrist’s office (I don’t mean anything insulting by that!).
Sometimes, we really only go to art exhibition openings for the drinks and the good-looking men. Because the art often seems to be absent. -
Yeah, for men it’s normal to have much younger girlfriends but women are robbing the cradle.
Since women statistically live longer than men, I vote whe should all go for hot young men.

Bellatrix - so true re what passes for art, I’ve been to a few of those where I’ve just been embarrassed for the ‘artist’. And this stuff doesn’t ever have that naive charm you get with kids’ drawings. Money (and connections) can buy everything it seems….oh, except talent, that is!

Statistically, he’s around his sexual peak and she is entering her’s, or around it– so everything sounds about right to me.
Younger men are the new black– mine’s only 3 years, but it truly is the way to go.

Honestly, I think Dita is one of the most classy women in Hollywood, even if she does burlesque…she brings some sort of old Hollywood charm to it.

I tend not to go for the traditionally good looking guys. However, in this instance I’ve gotta go ahead and admit I’d be swooning and possibly unable to properly get my words out if I saw that man in front of me. Sweater or no sweater.
Then you add her to the equation, and it’s all over. They are unbelievably beautiful looking together.

Robbing the craddle? The guy is 25 years old. Hardly a baby, in my book. He looks amazing and they make a good looking couple. I hope he’s the right guy for her. She’s so beautiful and classy. They’d certainly have gorgeous babies.
