Tori Spelling: Our fifth child ‘was like the rebirth of our relationship’

Tori Spelling is always touting her great marriage and lifestyle when she’s relying on her mom to pay for everything, had her accounts drained by the IRS and has been sued by multiple banks for nonpayment of debts. Just keep that in mind when you read her latest comments about how great her marriage is now that she welcomed a fifth baby seven months ago at the age of 44. That’s no shade on older moms, that’s shade on Tori, whose husband owes significant child support to his ex wife and who wanted a vasectomy several years ago, which Tori claimed they couldn’t afford. Judging from the luxury vacations they take, Tori decides what she wants to “afford.”

“Beau was like the rebirth of our relationship,” Spelling revealed at the 28th annual A Time for Heroes Festival in L.A. on Sunday, October 29. “We know how to do it differently now. For so many years, we kind of didn’t know how to find time for ourselves, it was all about the kids, because we did start having kids right away.”

But before welcoming Beau in March, the 44-year-old mom and McDermott committed to carving out regular date nights. Says Spelling: “Our time together is as important as our time with our children.”

[From US Magazine]

According to Tori Spelling’s logic, their fifth baby helped them find more time for themselves because they discovered date nights, which wouldn’t have happened without the new baby. I’m sure they’re doing low or no cost outings so they can pay back their overdue debts, right? This has been one of Tori’s talking points since the baby was just a month old. She told People in AprilIt’s like a new baby in a new relationship.” Bandaid babies are always a great idea. Remember how Dean told Tori when she told him he was pregnant that they just got their last child out of diapers and he thought they were in the clear? He’s 50 years old, loves riding motorcycles and playing hockey, and his oldest kid from his first marriage is now in college. I doubt he wanted to be raising babies at this age. According to Tori though everything is great with them, they’re so happy, the baby solved all their relationship problems and they have plenty of money to live the luxurious lifestyle they flaunt on social media. This is all Tori knows, this is the way she wants to live and she’s going to continue to act like everything is fine now. Maybe I’m just a cynic but sometimes I wonder if that’s the key to happiness, to just be so deep in denial that you believe your own hype.

Maybe Tori is saving money on makeup artists though. She either got an incompetent one, hopefully at a bargain basement price, or desperately needs to invest in a kabuki brush. Blending is key. Also, look at her eyebrows. You can learn how to do brows in ten minutes on YouTube with less than $10 worth of products from CVS. There is no excuse except being stuck in the 90s and thinking thin overextended brows still look good.

    I can’t stand them.

    Insert eye roll here…

Actually, the baby’s WTH look says it all.

    • Green_eyes says:

That was my thought as well.. baby’s look says it all. 😳😉

    • still_sarah says:

The group shot is my favourite – where Baby Beau turns his head away from the camera in disgust at the family he was born into.

  3. Ankhel says:

When four children doesn’t do the trick…

    • HelloSunshine says:

This was my exact thought lol the first didn’t do it but fifth times a charm right?

  4. Astrid says:

In the header picture, the kids look like hostages asking for help

    • Harla says:

I noticed that too Astrid, in fact no one looks very happy to be there expect Tori.

      • Kat says:

Yes!! They all look awkward and uncomfortable except for their thirsty mother. I notice this is a trend for their forced family pictures at every event they go to.

  5. ell says:

hahaha CB tori spelling’s posts are some of my favs.

  6. minx says:

What a mess, I feel so sorry for those kids stuck with narcissistic irresponsible parents.

  7. Green_eyes says:

She looks so much like the Batman’s Joker in some of those pics. Apparently she still has money for face injections too…but why? She looks cartoonish and the makeup only adds to the caricature.

    • CTgirl says:

Yeah, she looks like a stripper version of the Joker if he had some bolt-ons, a Botox habit, hair extensions and a greasy tumor named Dean.

  8. Casey _ says:

I don’t understand why she doesn’t get a competent MUA either, there are people on YouTube who’ve lost half their faces in accidents or to cancer who can transform into a supermodel because their techniques are so amazing. Yet here she is 44 years in Hwood looking like a clown who applied her kids finger paints blindfolded? It makes no sense.

    • Veronica says:

What’s Lainey Gossip call it? Karma face? The face you deserve.

      • smcollins says:

lol agreed. She was really cute during her 90210 days but her current look is not about aging poorly. I don’t know what all she’s had done over the years but the results seem to be the opposite desired outcome that one is typically trying to achieve with such procedures. Harsh, I know, but is it actually mean to criticize someone’s unnatural looks?

      • Veronica says:

She was never a great beauty, but she could have aged better than this. Some of the problem is her bone structure. When you have really strong features like that, you really can’t f*ck with your face that much. And you can tell that she’s just had the works done – fillers, lip plumping, botox, surgery, etc. A woman doesn’t have to be beautiful to be valuable, but she does need to learn how to be comfortable with her own features. And given her history of surgery and eating disorders and addictive spending, she’s clearly never been comfortable with herself in any way.

      • Tigerlily says:

LOL….right on. I love that expression of Lainey’s. Tori has always been kind of unfortunate looking but she seems to make it worse with how she does her makeup and also hair color.

    • minx says:

I would love to give her a makeover. Ditch the white hair, go for a nice darker color and softer cut. Ditch the black/red lipstick and exaggerated eyebrows. Give her some color on her face, some contouring. Oh and dump the husband.

    • someone says:

Clearly she has gained some weight which would make her face fuller – but I can’t help but wonder if there isn’t something more causing her huge face. Would fillers cause that? Some sort of steroid medicine? Maybe it is a mix of weight and poor makeup…..

  9. Shannon says:

omfg she reminds me of so many women I know/have known. Marriage in trouble? Have another baby. I guess I missed that gene. If someone hands me a baby that’s not directly related to me, I’m dying to hand it back asap. My mom always said I kind of lacked a strong maternal instinct LOL. I call it “I love my two sons, but I don’t have kids I can’t afford.”

    • swak says:

I agree. I stopped at three because I knew I could not afford any more. It’s called being practical. If her mother stopped paying for things, I wonder what would happen.

    • someone says:

I thought I wanted three but we stopped at two because the reality of 3 college educations to fund seemed daunting. Not to mention 2 fit so nicely in the back seat of my 4 door sedan lol. I don’t regret the choice but had we been independently wealthy or won the lottery when we were in the child bearing years I think I would have had more.

  10. WendyNerd says:

She looks exactly like Bruce Campbell in Escape from LA now.

  11. K-Peace says:

That baby looks like he’s desperately trying to get away from her. That does not look like a baby that’s happily in its mother’s arms. That looks like a baby who either doesn’t know or doesn’t like his mother, and wants to get back to a person that he does know or like. (A nanny?) Just my own thoughts upon looking at these photos.

  12. Anastasia says:

    Two girls and three boys?

  13. Lenn says:

How long can you be in debt before someone comes after you? How does it work? When you don’t pay your creditcard bill what eventually happens? Why can she go on spending?

  14. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

    Crikey.

  15. Molly says:

    A band-aid baby! That’s ALWAYS a good idea!

  16. Oliviajoy says:

She should be embarrassed that they keep on having children when Dean can’t even manage to support his FIRST ONE. They disgust me. Candy needs to cut them off so Tori stops having band aid babies.

    • Squiggisbig says:

I think the kids are somehow related to getting money from candy. Since Candy pays for a lot of the children’s expenses already (lavish birthday parties, etc).

  17. KBeth says:

The baby is really cute…that’s all I’ve got.

  18. Nikki says:

For every baby that is the “rebirth” of a relationship, there are probably 10 more who are an incredible strain on one. It drives me batty to hear someone ADVOCATE taking on a LIFETIME responsibility to people who have a shaky relationship beforehand.

  19. Ann Valor says:

As one very messed up gal to another: Girl, you need help.

  20. Ruyana says:

Supposedly her mom pays the kids’ expenses. If so, this wretched mother is finding a way to siphon off that money to herself. Look at the way she’s dressed and made-up, and then look at her poor kids. They look like they were dressed out of a Goodwill rag bin.

  21. Cinderella says:

More like rebirth of her bank account, but I’m sure that was spent immediately.

Her kids are so cute, but what a mess she’s gotten herself into.

  22. hey-ya says:

…her problems will come only if her mom

    a) falls under the influence of some guru
    b) remarries

other than that Toris life is fine…

  23. Zondie says:

    Who dresses those poor kids?

  24. jugil1 says:

    These poor kids…..

  25. Velvet Elvis says:

My god what has happened to her face? We know she’s had some bad plastic surgery in the past but her face seems to be growing or something. She needs to go see those Drs on botched and get that bad nose job fixed, at the very least.

  26. Leskat says:

Wasn’t Dean supposed to get a vasectomy like a bunch of years ago so they wouldn’t keep having babies they couldn’t afford?? Those kids are being set up for bad things with such awful role models as parents. Tori looks horrendous- she was never and will never be a great beauty but work with what ya got, not against it. Can’t stand these two who live in some dream world where babies fix relationships and money grows on (mom’s) trees and kids from former relationships no longer exist.

  27. holly hobby says:

It looks the the kids in the first pic has a WTF look on all of them. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. The baby’s expressions are pretty funny considering.

Tori should stop doing whatever she is doing with the face. It looks painful!

  28. Ozogirl says:

Wow…she looks terrible, from head to toe.

  29. KatieBo says:

He has such a drinker’s face… I’m willing to bet there’s some substantial alcohol abuse going on there…

  30. VintageS says:

Honestly, what happened to her face?

  31. Skittlebrau says:

Her poor children always look so uncomfortable at events. Not to mention it certainly doesn’t seem she spends any of that money on their clothes. My kids dress better in Cat & Jack than these poor things do.

    • Veronica says:

Man, I can’t be hating on Cat & Jack. I’ve legit bought my friend’s toddlers clothing from that line that I would totally wear if it was available in adult sizes.

    • Snowpea says:

We live on the smell of an oily rag so my three kids have always been dressed in cheap neutral Kmart cotton separates, secondhand leather shoes from charity shops and other quality secondhand gear but they always looked put together and clean etc. These children look cheaply dressed, like Tori has dressed them all in hand me downs from the neighbours kids. I don’t get it.

      • justwastingtime says:

I live in a wealthy LA suburb. It’s odd – kids here don’t wear what her kids wear, its not just that the clothes are never matched in terms of color or style and look uncomfortable.. it’s as if she went to a second hand Kansas clothing shop in the 1970s.

  32. NotSoSocialButterfly says:

    Sure, Jan.

  33. Tempany says:

Does anyone else think she looks pregnant again?
