Does anybody know if David Cross is the guy who sang “chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot pie” on Just Shoot Me back in the olden days? I never saw Arrested Development but I recognize his face and swear he’s the chicken pot pie guy…

Not signing for a sick kid? That seems so made up. My bet is that Cross personally got shorted by Belushi somehow and made up this story to get even.

BTW, Cross used to be kinda funny. Then he totally sold out and changed his act to a baseless (and unfunny) let’s-bash-Bush affair. He gives me a headache.

Whatever David Cross does makes me laugh. He was the voice of the creature in one of the new Futurama movies. The movie wasn’t that good but I couldn’t help but giggle with whatever he said.

I should go pick up Mr. Show on DVD. That show was so GD funny.

david cross may be unkind, but he was HIGHlarious in Mr.Show. I will never forget the sketch about the bigots in an anti-bigotry class where they all came together because of Billy Ocean’s Classic, Caribbean Queen, you know, “we’re sharing the same dream!!!” Too funny.

Anyhoozures, Jim Belushi…..I’m sorry, where would he be without Belushi following his name? He’d be just another fat and bitter old man.

Man, I heard this story awhile ago and I totally buy it. David Cross might not be a “nice” guy (I still think he is), but he seems incredibly honest — just someone who made it but is still shocked and appalled by the things that go on in the biz on the regular.

I hope none of you have ever watched “According to Jim,” but I have. In syndication. It is beyond terrible and, if the racist, misogynist and juvenile humor on the show in any way reflects Belushi’s personality in real life, then this guy must be the king turd.

Cross was great in AD, JB was not only not funny in his horrid sitcom but was painful to watch. I don’t find it too hard to believe he’s a dirtbag.

Belushi clearly suffers from being in his brothers’ shadow. He knows that he will never come close to achieving the absolute genius that John Belushi was blessed with, and it probably eats him up knowing that nothing he ever achieves in the entertainment world will ever measure up by comparison. Carrying around that kind of bitterness for decades has probably turned him into an ugly little man. Why else would he decline a very simple request for a sick kid?
