At first, I just saw Kerry Washington from the waist up and I thought this was maybe the best she’s ever looked on a red carpet (which is saying something). Seeing the full look… I’m not completely into this Prabal Gurung, and I absolutely loathe those booties, but yeah… from the waist up, this is the best Kerry Washington has ever looked. Her hair at the Globes was amazing! Her makeup was perfection.
It’s painful to me that there aren’t more photos of Issa Rae in this Prabal Gurung gown, because she had one of my favorite looks of the night. She looked like a warrior princess! I love this.
Jessica Chastain wore one of the best of the Armani looks at the Globes – this was just a great dress, and I feel like she’s finally – at long last – got a styling team together who knows what they’re doing with her.
Allison Williams in Armani Prive. This was honestly one of the most colorful looks of the night and I really didn’t like it.
Ava DuVernay in Armani. She’s great, the dress is kind of dowdy on her though. She’s another one of those female directors consistently snubbed by the white male establishment. RESIST peeps.
Laura Dern wore Armani, and attended the Globes with Monica Ramirez, from Alianza Nacional de Campesinas.

I did the same thing with Kerry- thought she looked amazing, and then saw a photo including those nightmare booties. Why???

I always said whoever styles Olivia Pope should style Kerry Washington. She has the worst taste on the red carpet I ever saw in my life.
I thought with Kerry that the material of the dress was not a good material for a black dress, because all I could think was trash bag.
I must be on something, because I actually really like the booties. Oh well

Kerry Washington does this a lot. She always adds a twist to an outfit that just doesn’t work, but everything is else looks stunning. I like the booties, but just not with this look.

Kerry’s is interesting – I don’t love it but I don’t hate it and I don’t feel meh about it.
I like Kerry’s look because it’s less formal and a smidge edgy. Issa Rae’s look grew on me, love it now but was meh at first

Kerry is just so pretty that she can make a sack look good on her. Her outfit is fine. With different shoes, it would have been a much more glamorous look.

I think Ava looks beautiful in her gown, not dowdy. It’s a beautiful winter look and elegant. I think it’s the way she’s standing in it that might make you think that, and seeing her in it in person, it’s probably stunning.
