Tattoo artist Kat Von D, whose makeup line is a favorite among many of us here at Celebitchy, is a married lady.
Kat said “I do” to Prayers singer Leafar Seyer on Wednesday, after a whirlwind week-long engagement. She announced the union on her Instagram page, declaring that she married “my soul’s mate, my mind’s twin, my best friend.” The caption accompanied a photo of two extremely tattooed hand with matching manicures wearing identical wedding bands. Every time I look at this picture, I hear Billy Idol’s “White Wedding” in my head, even though this appears to be the polar opposite of that. Anyone else?
The 35-year-old makeup maven and the 42-year-old singer have been an item since (at least) December of 2015, when they made their relationship “social media official.” I’ve not heard of Leafar before today, but besides a name that sounds like it would befit a character on Game of Thrones, the guy knows how to do Valentine’s Day. You may have gotten candy and flowers (I got an expertly cooked steak dinner), but Kat was treated to a plane flying over her home with a banner reading “I love you Kat Von D.” Pretty epic.
After a little Googling, I found out that Leafar’s band, Prayers, is categorized as “Cholo goth.” Their music isn’t really my “thing” (and they nearly ruined “West End Girls” for me), but his aesthetic matches up pretty perfectly with Kat’s. This could be a match made in heaven.
I’m a big fan of Kat’s makeup, so I hope this relationship is a happy one for her. This is her second go-round, after her 4-year marriage to tattoo artist Oliver Peck ended in 2007. She really hasn’t had the best track record, partner-wise, after failed engagements with Jesse James and Deadmau5. I did kind of like her with Steve-O though. Hopefully she’s taken positives away from these past relationships and will be happy wth Leafar.

I know nothing about these two other than what I read here. I don’t see this as everlasting….two people needing attention.

Her face looks so waxy/shiny in some of these photos… other than that, I think she looks a lot like Rumer Willis.

His fingernails…ewwww!! Just NO! Yuck! She has been dying to get married for years. But her relationships never stuck..She’s an intense , chain serious relationship girl…soo much like Kalie Cuoco (sp?) so…I guess..good for her..she’s been trying at this for years now..

everlasting liquid lip outlaw is an incredible shade of brick red for pale dark haired gals. not too blue, not too orange. JUST RIGHT. her tattoo liner is the best liquid eyeliner ever. she is a good tattoo artist but her makeup line is clearly a labor of love.
I believe that either Nyx or Physician’s Formula has a dupe for her eyeliner. Would have to go through old youtube beauty guru bookmarks to see which one it is. lol
I liked her on L.A. Ink until after she left; then I started hearing some bad stuff about her. (LIke she allegedly cheated on her first husband.) I’m still on the fence regarding her because she seems real in the few youtube videos that I watched about her issue with another youtuber, Jeffrey Star.
As for him, no idea who he is,but his spray tan on his hands isn’t even on his knuckles. I don’t predict that it will last because she has had awful taste in men.
She did cheat on Oliver. But that was many years ago. She has grown up since. And her makeup is amazing. I was given some samples when she was first branching out and since then, I have used nothing but her makeup.
Had no idea she was married to Oliver Peck! Well, I hope it works out for her. I think her picker is broken but maybe she’s learned and grown.

I can see what you mean by billy idol, white wedding, in the music video billy idol grabs his bride to be and puts a barb wire wedding ring on her finger, thats what it reminds me of that look and vibe, I always loved that bit, the barb wire ring was so cool back in the 80s
I’ve been following her on Instagram for the past year and a half at least and I’m a bit confused about the timeline being pushed about them dating. Perhaps they were dating in secret but KVD has always been very open on her page about the men she’s dated and she was dating someone completely different in the fall (I remember because she responded to a comment I made about him). Like the previous men she’s dated before that guy (I believe another guy in the summer or early spring), once they break up, all history is removed from her page. Of course, she has every right to and I’m not slagging her for dating many guys – totally all the power to her on that! I fully support women wanting to date, play the field, be non-monogamous, open, kinky, whatever (as long as it’s consenting) . I’m just raising my eyebrow at them/media insinuating they’ve been exclusive for the past few years. Why not own up to having a whirlwind relationship and claim it?? Admit to falling head over heels and choosing not to wait to get hitched? Nothing wrong with that.
It’s not the first time she’s jumped into a relationship/marriage/engagement after an extremely short period. She did this with that heavy metal guy too.. what’s his name. Nikki Six i think? She has a pattern of falling hard for a new guy and proclaiming him her soulmate and true love overnight. I think she loves the idea of being in love and that feeling of new-ness. When shit gets real, her relationships fall apart.
Yep, she was with an animal activist with a young kid up until xmas or so, then there was the lettering artist guy…so she’s been with this guy for about a couple of months. They’ve known each other for waaaay longer, but this is a whirlwind thing for sure. Unfortunately, I don’t see them last.

This guy reminds me of when you JUST get a fresh manicure and can’t stop pointing at things with your new glorious nails, showing off your nails in photos etc. He is very much in love with his long nails. And his instagram makes its obvious he is REALLY in love with himself. Maybe it’s just a narcissistic So-cal thing too..
