Cameron Diaz was finally awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. Sometimes, it seems like the stars are given out randomly, but it’s always nice to see someone who is a legitimate movie star receive this honor. The city council had declared June 22nd “Cameron Diaz Day” and during her speech, Cameron thanked her friends and family very graciously. For the ceremony, Cameron wore a lovely white dress with some kind of lacey stuff up top. I think I’ve seen the dress before on Kirsten Dunst, but no matter. Cameron added a great red belt that really popped, so it’s all good.
To join in the celebration, several of Cameron’s big Hollywood friends came out. Lucy Lui, Nick Cassavetes, director McG and Danny Boyle all were in attendance, but the biggest names for the ceremony were Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. OK! Magazine had some of the funnier quotes from the ceremony, including Nick Cassavetes claiming that Cameron looks great for 45. Cameron laughed and agreed that it was always better to “lie up” about your age.
Unfortunately for Cameron, the biggest news coming out of the ceremony might be the emergence of a baby bump on Katie Holmes’s slender frame. Several of the photo agencies have pictures of Katie, wearing a loose white shirt and white cardigan, looking either pregnant or really bloated. Radar is running the baby bump rumor with the caution “we haven’t heard anything definite” and “possible baby bump”. CB thinks that Katie is just one of those girls who always looks pregnant because she’s so slouchy and bloaty (those aren’t CB’s words, I’m paraphrasing). And God knows we’ve run enough Katie-is-pregnant-again rumors the past few years. But I swear, Katie really does look pregnant to me. Praise Xenu!
Note by Celebitchy: This time I would guess that Katie is pregnant and that it’s not just a slouching issue. It looks like more than that and I agree with Kaiser that something is going on.

I have to disagree that she looks pregnant. her stomach is barely sticking out past her hip bones as one pic shows and the only thing weird is her outie belly button.
diaz, however, is looking a little rough in the face, but her figure looks great.
also, it obviously was cool enough for katie to wear that ugly grandma afghan blanket as a sweater, so why is tom cruise sweating so profusely?

Katie Holmes is the worst dressed celeb bar none. Not a clue. Clueless.
Katie does look pregnant to me, anyways, and needs to eat properly to gain weight; Tom needs to lay off something alittle bit, for she looks gaunt and drained. It would be better for her to have a happy and healthy pregnancy rather than to be pressured by a super Tom to have odd eating habits and rituals because of his religion.

If you want to walk with a man who is shorter, why tower like this, and if you do want to tower- why the slouch?
There is no point in wearing such hideous clothes + the slouch + the incredible heels.
IF she has some sort of posture problem (which is evident by her constant slouch) those clothes won’t hide it and the heels will only make it worst.
Omigosh, omigosh, omigosh. I can’t take another human being more adorable than Suri. Overload!
Cameron Diaz drives me nuts. I have no idea what it is about her but I hate everything she does, everything she wears and everything about her. Shudder.

Congrats to Cameron.. well deserved. She is a sight to behold in that dress.. and quite beautiful in her recent Vogue spread. Not my favorite actress but a true star nonetheless.

I’m open to those slightly wild urban styles à la Olsen Twins for example. I’m used to them as I have to deal with them on daily basis. Heck, the slouchy grandma cardigan was in every French young lady’s wardrobe last winter. But this is just horrible. I can’t understand how she even thought this would look ok.
And if you’re going to wear ripped skinny jeans, please don’t let them have that stained look too. It looks truly as though your dog pissed on your jeans which made you spill olive oil all over them just before you left the house.
I shall not even comment on the jewelry.
I thought she was supposed to do a “dance” performance on So You Think You Can Dance’s finale show in August? How’s that going to happen if she’s pregnant?

About Katie and Tom, the only thing i can say to her is: if you are married with a short man, please dont use high heels. You just gonna embaresse him!

And that’s the best that Katie could wear? Is this the new fashion and we’re just not aware of it? Sorry – it looks like you were interrupted doing something (we know it’s not manual labor)and dashed off to the special event – they both look disheveled. The sunglasses are constant companions for both – even at night, although I will never understand why ANYONE wears them at night – but with her, she’s probably hiding her red-rimmed, sad eyes.

Cameron looks lovely and appropriate for the celebration – and yes, Tom and Katie, it was a celebration, not a work party. KH’s outfit is terrible – did she give her stylist the day off? I’d be pissed if someone came to a day celebrating my career achievements dressed like that.
Katie’s pants are dirty – there are stains on the left leg. I know, as a mommy of a two year old, I sometimes go out with a schmear on me, but seems like she’d take extra care. To me, she’s starting to look like Sgt Trudy Wiegel from Reno 911.
I think she is pregnat, I said this from pictures that were posted on X17, she was with Suri and was also wearing white. But she has to film in Australia. We will wait and see. Suri is gorgeoua, I wonder what a boy would look like if they had one.
