I thought Kim Kardashian would wait for a while before debuting baby Chicago “Chi” West on her social media, but Kim’s has been posting photos, videos and Snapchats for a month or longer. We’ve gotten to see a lot of Chi West, and she’s absolutely beautiful. Kim and Kanye really do make gorgeous children. Anyway, Kim posted the first photo of the entire Kardashian-West family on her social media yesterday. She was funny about it too, noting:
I don’t think you really understand how hard it is to take a good family pic. This was all we got before all three kids started crying. I think I cried too. One hand holding the baby and the other hand grabbing the back of Saints shirt because he kept running away lol.
It’s sweet, and she’s right – I can’t imagine how difficult it was to get a baby and two small children AND KANYE to all stand still for 10 seconds at the same time for a photo. It’s no wonder that neither Kanye or Kim are smiling. And I love North’s little peace sign. She’s literally peacing out on this whole “family photo” nonsense.
Also: I think North still has issues with her younger siblings, but Saint – ever the patient middle child – adores his sisters. Kim recently posted a photo of Saint kissing Chi.

Is it rude to say that the worst part of this photo is whatever she’s done to her face? Terrible.
She changed her face AGAIN. Why would she want to look like Khloe? Because that is who she looks like here.

More fillers and I think more nose work. I’ve seen her with a thinner-looking nose. Maybe she realized the surgeries on her nose were too extreme. And yes, the adults could have been smiling. Maybe the sun was in their faces?

I was coming on to say the same thing, psl. It’s not that it’s so difficult to get everyone set for a family photo. It’s that she and her husband have rarely smiled in photos for years. They are above smiling. Saint’s attention is on something else, the baby is asleep, but North is all for the smile.
If the name hadn’t been there, I’d have had no idea it was KKW in the first photo. Her face…ruined.
I didn’t even notice the kids. All I can see is her face. She looks like one of those robot sex dolls.
Yeah, the no smiling is starting to make her look a bit bitter. Filler can’t fix that chica!

I find it funny. Kim and Kanye all serious, the baby being cute, North with the peace sing and Saint running away.
Years ago right after the debacle of the reality show that she got for releasing her sex tape (you have to remind yourself sometimes the genesis of her notoriety), she said she doesn’t like to smile because it gives you wrinkles. She said that. Bible.
@ Nancy, it also exercises your face and keeps it firm. But I doubt she’s that far-sighted. She’d rather look perpetually and profoundly conceited. And I know I say this a lot, but ugh.

It’s so bizarre how she photoshops everything to flawless perfection and then adds a scratchy “dirty film” filter.
It’s a really sweet pic, and the kids are adorable – but what’s happening with Kim’s face? She looks like a totally different person.

That picture of saint and chi is so so sweet.
My three year old son has just recently decided he will give his nine month old sister a kiss on the cheek and it is the SWEETEST thing in life. He’s so gentle and then she smiles and claps because she adores her brother the most.
Having little children is a beautiful experince, I hope kim is enjoying it and that Kanye is also doing well and enjoying his babies.
Your story is cute and relatable. She named her kid after a city. I had a dog named Chi Chi (I didn’t name her), but it is a more appropriate name for a Chihuahua than a child, at least in my opinion.
Nancy, are you opposed to people naming their kids London, Paris, Dakota, etc? Or is this just a Kardashian induced anger? I mean one of her kids is named, North! Naming one after a city seemed really tame to me.

But that is not a happy looking family. It’s funny how the interest in Celebrity children is on the decline. I just don’t think there is much interest in their kids. Or any celebrity kids. But they have beautiful children all the same.
Doesn’t look adorable to me. Kanye looks like a thundercloud. KK looks vacant as always and heavier than I expected. NW is very cute but her hair is so tight it’s giving ME a headache. Family pictures can go either way – why not put out a happy one?
Couldn’t agree more. Nothing adorable about this. Everyone looks looks miserable (even the little girl’s smile looks pained) and physically uncomfortable (everyone’s clothes and hair are too tight).
Cute photo. Only thing I have to say is that Kanye should have been dealing with Saint instead of Kim. She had her hands full with just holding Chi. This is not a slam on Kim, she’s doing what most mom’s do – taking charge of the kiddos. Kanye should have stepped in and helped.

She always does this – picks a “look” and wears it 500x in different colors. I love when people call her confident and independent. To me she is an insecure mess – she wouldn’t change her face every two months, and need constant validation from the public if she was confident.
Kim being the mother of daughters is frightening. Those girls don’t stand a chance of normalcy, growing up in that household.
FIRST, it looks like a weird Instagram model stepped in for the picture because Kim must have double booked herself?! LOL
Second, I do enjoy her ‘realness’ here. Ironic, I know. The crap I do to get my two year old to look at the camera without crying…..or running away!!! I don’t even care if he smiles, I just need him sitting still in the frame for 5 seconds. Sometimes I get really down that it’s so damn hard to take his pic and now add my infant daughter into the mix……all I get are pictures of the tops or sides of their little heads. Lol I don’t like overly staged pictures so I guess it works.

Tried to take a picture of my three little niblings this morning. It’s like herding cats. This is a much better picture than anything I managed.

As annoying and vapid as that entire family is they do make super cute children. The kiss photo is adorable and I love that North is flashing a little peace sign. Kanye has such a fantastic smile, I wish he would show it.
