    Go Reese!

I do think she found her voice and i have nothing but respect for her. She’s a great actress and seems like she understands majority of issues.

    • notasugarhere says:

Reese who tried to get her husband out of a drunk driving charge by trying to intimidate the officer with, ‘Do you know who I am?’ talk? How soon people forget.

      • Luisa says:

So one can’t praise anything good she has done, because of a bad thing she once did (which was, yes, a pretty terrible thing to do)?

      • notasugarhere says:

When what she did was so awful and blatantly entitled? That shows the core of who she is to me.

      • Lex says:

@notasugarhere and now she is making amends?
        Get over it!

Let’s drag up every bad thing you’ve ever done to negate any nice deed you ever do again. That makes sense, right?!

      • KBeth says:

Eh, she behaved like an entitled asshole….that does not negate every single she does for the rest of her life.
& for the record I don’t particularly like Reese, she’s talented for sure but likely is a bit of a brat. That said, if she’s going to fight for equal pay for women….have at it.

      • Parigo says:

I think lots of people have behaved like assholes and did things they regret when drunk.

  2. Mia4s says:

Whoa, Margaret Atwood! Are we sure she’s mentally OK? That’s a pretty confused statement.

Also that’s not what happens in Star Wars. Like…at all. Hell if there’s any doubt you can watch Rogue One for the backstory. Yikes.

    • minx says:

Yeah, her quote was, um, strange.

    • still_sarah says:

As a Canadian, I never really understood the adoration of Margaret Atwood. She is one of those rich white socialists IMO who talks a lot but doesn’t do a lot. Just sits around with her like-minded socialist friends in their rich, white bubble. I do not look to her for any type of guidance.

    • notasugarhere says:

She appears to be talking about how sci-fi writers make good futurists, so they can be helpful for brainstorming about disaster scenarios and other possible outcomes. Bruce Sterling is an example of this crossover, with a couple of his non-fiction books published by MIT Press.

      • Mia4s says:

Interesting take if so; but unfortunately that example just makes her sound stupid (or disturbed) since it’s completely wrong and off base.

Anyone pop culture literate could point out to her that the Tom Clancy novel Debt of Honor (published 1994) involved planes crashing into the Capital Building and the X-Files spin-off The Lone Gunman literally talked about hijacked planes and the WTC six months before the actual attack. All text, no subtext.

      • notasugarhere says:

That part of the interview reminds me of the people who blame Keanu Reeves for Columbine. Someone wrote an opera based on one of her books, it had similarities to 9/11 before it happened. I wonder if she’s taken criticism in the past from some who try to blame her for the events taking place in real life.

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

      Whoa, Maggie.

  3. minx says:

    Burberry? Never thought of them.

  4. Whatever says:

I don’t have high hopes if its Burberry. From 2009-2013 everything they made just looked exquisite. Everything since then has been baggy, shapeless and downright ugly . Meh.

  5. Shotcaller says:

Waiting for LAK and magnoliarose to weigh in.

  6. Rose says:

Oh bless her heart! Kim thinks she’s fooling people with that photo ?
It’s she’s gonna photoshop can’t she learn how to do it properly?

    • minx says:

      So hilariously fake.

    • Anastasia says:

No one is shaped like that, not even by surgery. I guarantee you she narrowed down her waist a lot, and then added a thigh gap. Possibly shaved off the outside of her thighs.

  8. Violet says:

I really like the gowns I’ve seen from Elie Saab. I know Meghan has to do a British designer, but I thought the gown he did for the princess from Luxembourg was beautiful – it was sexy but not trashy, and I think he did a really gorgeous and even sexier dress for Princess Victoria of Sweden for the party the day before her wedding. He knows what to do with lace!

I just hope it’s not Erdem, I hate his stuff. That gold dress of his Kate wore recently was hideous, all I could think of was that old Victorian term for gold overlay, “ormolu”. Please not Erdem Please not Erdem Please not Erdem . . .!

  9. Moien Ahamd says:

Gowns are never out of fashion, she would rock it. In Kashmir, we have traditional gowns and look very cool. If anyone is interested you can buy them on http://www.hamiast.com

    Kim K…lol…such a liar….
    Meghan Markle is pretty adorable.
Why on earth is Bella Hadid a model or, for that matter, even a thing. I do not find her the least bit attractive.

  11. Veronica T says:

Burberry makes gowns?? I thought mostly coats. I do love their coats!!

off topic but still about royals. on the 19 will be the York princesses first tiara event at To Attend CHOGM Banquet. I dont know if they will be loaneed tiaras, but I sure hope they will get to, though the girls themselves don’t seem like jewlery fanatics. No this does not mean they will become working royals.

The real question is do you think the York Princesses have the Royal Family Orders? Traditonally the Queen gives them to working royal woman of the family, however, its usually up the monarch of that era wether some get them or not, in the past even children of TRBF have recieved them. We don’t know they actually have RFO because they never attended events like these for all we know they could have one. Hey, a gal can dream. I always thought that Beatrice would look good in the emralds nudge, nudge, * wink.

Kate’s wedding dress was pretty medieval, especially the skirt and it did cost Pounds 500.000. So I am curious how Markle will play her wedding dress. Kate’s clothing and shoes and handbag bills are astronomous and likely around Pounds 300.000 per year. Although in her engagement pic(s) Kate wore rather modestly priced dresses (blue wrap dress for the photo op and a white dress for the official photograph). Kate spends a few thousand per outfit but because she does wear a new outfit nearly every time it sums up. In her engagement pic which introduced her to the people Markle wore a Pounds 60.000 gown. Let’s see how she will play her wedding dress. I am really curious. I doubt that Markle will do a Middleton priced wedding dress. And I doubt that Markle will do Kate’s medieval wedding gown style.
