Was listening to a show on the radio last week where the topic was parents who have never been in their children’s lives/or hardly ever suddenly demanding to he with them. The consensus was that such parents were purely selfish – only concerned with themselves and comtemptuous of their long lost children’s feelings on the matter and how it could impact on THEIR lives. Enough said!!!

I’m black. I was beaten as a child for the simplest infractions, sometimes until blood ran. That’s the only way my dad was satisfied that I’d “learnt my lesson”. Punishment never fit the crime. However, I have NEVER considered it akin to slavery. Nobody owned me–that mindset saved my mental state and dignity through the years.

It was the result of a horrible man who had anger issues and little to no social skills. Did I ever trust him with my children? Never. He raised his hand to my oldest once and I stood in the way. He backed off, but I still do not allow him to be alone with them and they know why, too. Dad did give me one piece of advice that was good. Be black, be proud, but never mistake arrogance for pride.

Sounds like you, too, have anger issues, and you need to deal with them rather than blaming them on every one and every thing else in life. My skin didn’t get me beat. A bent, twisted mind did. Who cares what color Debbie Rowe is? Michael certainly didn’t care. Your comments demean what he was about, and shadow his memory.

What amazes me about the Debbie Rowe crap is that if she were Black, her name would be mud and talked about like she is the scum of the earth for giving up her children, which Debbie Rowe is in my opinion, why now after all of these years does she want to have contact with her children, so you are showing pictures of the children before she gave them up, has she had any kind of contact with her biological children since she was paid off by Michael Jackson, if she was a Black mother in the same situation we would never hear the end of how unfit she was and should not even be allowed visitation or to even mention their name in public, she should not have any say as to how these children are raised whatsoever, she was a dental assistant who saw money $$$$$$$ with Michael and now low and behold she does not have to work another day in her life.

I am so sick of how the only thing these days to do is to hook up with someone who is rich, pop out some babies and then you are set for life, it makes me want to throw up, what happened to working for a living, I guess that went out the door, how can Katherine Jackson raise her grandchildren is how black grandmothers have been doing for years, we don’t put our children out to pasture on someone else, yes she is 79, but rich enough to pay for a nanny, you people believe anything you hear and run with it, trust me Debbie Rowe is hanging around to get some money out of the deal because that is what she is all about, like all of the so many money hungry individuals that are out there now, and my last comment is on how all of you white people say along with Debbie Rowe about not letting Joe Jackson near Michael’s children is a joke, he raised his family to be individuals that work for a living as he did when he worked two jobs and he did not beat his children he disciplined them. There was a good reason that Michael left her completely out of his will, because he knew that she would sell her biological children to the highest bidder.

And always REMEMBER BEATING IS WHAT YOUR ANCESTORS USE TO DO TO SLAVES WHO WERE MY ANCESTORS AND I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF YOU THAT WISH IT WAS STILL GOING ON!!!! so please whenever you make a comment that Joe Jackson beat his children, just think about the millions of slaves that were beaten, tortured, raped, burnt and hung.

So, Debbie Rowe comes out smelling like the wistful mom. Makes one wonder how much they promised/gave her to not fight custody? Leading to…. now wondering why the Jackson clan were so adamant and single-minded re: wanting Michael’s wishes respected re: his children, but not his equally stated wishes for the overseers of his $$$$. Seems that’s where their loyalty stops. Maybe Michael knew if his family got ahold of his millions, there would eventually be nothing left for his grown children to go to even a state college on scholarships. Hmmm…. nobody ever said he was stupid, just weird. Weird doesn’t mean blind.

I think that the kids should go to janet, because she seems like a motherly figure to them. Ms katherine is also a good choice, but she can b grandma tot he children becaus shes a tad up in age, janet should have custody because michael trusted her the most. The children dnt even kno debbie rowe to call her mommy, or mum. I dnt think its best rowe gets the kids. If she didnt want the kids when they were little, she doesnt need em now. But I hope janet gets them, shes a good person. RIP MJ

Debbie Rowe should not even be let near those kids!She has got money for them over and over again,the women is sick.I hear she is now going to get 4million to go away,which I am sure she will take and run,she cares about herself and thats it,she is a sad case for a mother well in her case i say so-called mother,she has no bond with these kids at all,Debbie would probably take a $20 Mc. Donalds gift certificate to go away never mind 4million.The kids should go to Janet J. like they want too.

The Jackson family should keep the kids. Debbie has had no connection with the kids and by her own accounts wanted no connection. And for those that said give Blanket to her, you must be truly insane! If she didn’t want her own kids what kind of mother do you think she will be to Blanket. Get real. I do think that after the children have had time to heal and deal with the changes in their lives that if Debbie and the children desire they should be allowed visitation rights so they can get to know each other. The children are old enough to have some say in what they want.

Personally, I think Debbie should get all three children… without the money. Put it all in a trust fund for when they are much older or something. That ought to finally make her the mother she should/could have been all these years. (On the other hand, I really believe she wanted to be involved with the kids, but never got the chance because of her promise to MJ and continual paparazzi interference.) She is, after all, their bio mom in the eyes of the law, whether she or anyone else likes it or not. Bring those kids up on what she has now, so they can lead a more normal life without all that corrupting money. You’d see how fast the cameras would disappear, if so!!
Or, give all his money to the Jackson clan, as payback for them looking the other way with Michael. Let ‘em choke on it. Joe Jackson just tossed his hat into the three ring custody circus. Why? To exploit them of course, like he did with his own kids. No way, I say. He had his chance, and blew it. No do-overs with children!
Jermaine also talked mainly about himself in the interview with Matt Lauer, showing off with singing, etc., citing “he” was MJ’s “backbone”. Ha! Where was his “backbone” when his little brother was seeking peace in drugs, huh?
Where was anyone who gave a good damn? Maybe that’s the central point of Michael’s drug abuse. He wanted someone–anyone–to step up to the plate—for him, not for what they could get. He knew, and it killed him. The only one who came close was Lisa Marie, and even she couldn’t hack it. She had nothing to gain from him. I pray those kids lose all their (legal) father’s money. It might be the best thing for them. Let the lawyers get whatever’s left. At least the children will know they are loved for themselves, keeping Michael’s fatherly legacy alive in them. It’s what their father was seeking all his life, after all, and he would certainly want that for the children of his heart.
