The positive changes I make in my life have nothing to do with pleasing Europeans. If I preferred European culture to my own, I would move there and become European.

As it happens, I like being American. I like our audacity, our optimism, and our arrogance. I like our ambition and energy.

Yes, we are very different from Europe in many ways. You might be shocked to find that a lot of us don’t view that as a handicap or blemish.

As for Gwen, I don’t understand the hate she gets here. There are LOTS of actresses and socialites with elite attitudes. I’m not sure why Gwen gets so much focus. Snobbery is everywhere. I like Gwen’s movies most of the time (few duds here and there, for sure, but I like her acting for the most part).

I get why people are off-put by her GOOP site, but it’s just not unique or even the worst of its kind by any stretch…so I don’t understand the anger it causes.

Well Europeans ARE very different from North Americans and I much prefer their attitudes about life to our own.
Why resent it? Why not make positive changes to our own lives instead?

Just how stupid is Goopy anyway? It seemed to have a history? Seemed? And the buildings were like totally old. Now there’s an insight for you.

A true lover of travel, culture, cuisine, etc., would be able to see positives in many different places and many different lifestyles. But that’s not what Gwyneth is. She’s a maundering, anal-retentive halfwit who can’t keep her foot out of her mouth.

A woman who has how many nannies watching her ugly kids while she is never home or touring the world talking about her stupid pompous silver spoon life, has the nerve to talk about family being together. Paltrow spends about an hour a day with her snots and lectures on others. What an ignorant asshole. No wonder Chris is cheating on her.

feebee: telenovellas are great! my bf & i are currently learning spanish and we watch them quite a bit. they are very over the top and so much fun! also, a variety show called sabado gigante (big saturday) which is on sat. nights for 3 hours of fun, music, sketch comedy and total confusion.

but i’m sure goop would never watch shows for commoners. she would much prefer watching the spanish equivalent of masterpiece theater.
