Gwen Stefani’s Vegas show opened & Blake Shelton was there to support her

Grand Opening "Gwen Stefani-Just A Girl" Las Vegas

Here are some photos of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton at the opening of her new Las Vegas show “Gwen Stefani: I’m Just a Girl.” I honestly forgot that Gwen had signed on to a Vegas residency, but here we go. Her residency is at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. I was going to be like “oh, the scheduling might be a mess,” but honestly, her contract is only for 25 shows and they’ve spread out the dates for the next year. It really isn’t going to be a huge disruption for her schedule and the residency is probably crazy-lucrative.

Billboard has a recap and review of her show here. They said it was really good, and that Gwen made the “bold” choice of singing live, and she sounded good. Blake was in front, watching her entire show and cheering. Which is sweet. Who would have thought that their crazy rebound relationship would end up being so… substantial, you know? They spend a lot of time together (with her sons) in Oklahoma, in Nashville and in LA. I guess they’ll be spending time in Las Vegas now too.

As for the changes Gwen has made to her face over the past few years… yeah, I think she looks like a doll right now, and I don’t mean that as a compliment. I’m glad that she’s past the “mask” phase of Botoxing like crazy, but she still looks… frozen. Barbie-like. Oh well.

I don’t think I could sit through one of her shows. Two hours of her pouting while singing and giving her “sad puppy dog eyes” look ughhh. Sorry lol.

Not sorry. I’d be right there with you, gambling rather than watching this

      Yeppers.

    • Ms. Blake says:

Totally with you. The early 1900s movie era “aw shucks/gee whiz” vamping is so tired at this point. She is talented. I just wish she would mix up her look and affectations.

She needs some serious toner on her hair.

  3. Frosty says:

Not here for that dress, and especially not the hose!

Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt was the first ever album I bought on cassette, after saving up all my pocket money. So I’m pretty ride or die for Gwen. I’m glad her and Blake are happy. I wish she’d leave her face alone, but she’s still one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.

  5. Penelope says:

    Never got her appeal.

Damn. Gwen and JLo are aging goals. I don’t think she looks THAT frozen. 🤔

    • Lara K says:

She looks great! Blake is getting a LOT of city miles. He looks WAY older than 41.

  7. Astrid says:

I’m sad at what she’s become.

  8. Ozogirl says:

The platinum blonde is too harsh for her at this stage. I wish she’d change her look up a bit and go darker with a modern cut. She’s stuck in the 90’s.

  9. Pinar Okur says:

She rocked in the early 2000s
In the last years she remembers me to the one playboymansion bunny – madison something – reall dollyesque

Must admit, I don’t get her music or her appeal…Never thought she could sing a lick, not that that matters these days. But she can’t dance either. She seems to owe her career to a now-defunct band, her plastic surgeon, and a singing cowboy.. smh
