Am I alone in thinking the trailer looked clever and funny? It also looked like a feminist, subversive take on the horror movie genre and the classic succubus character (with all its Christian/puritanical/sexist undertones). And the addition of edgy, new wave/punk girl power classic music for the trailer’s soundtrack? Kind of brilliant.

Diablo Cody seems more like a stripper who found her niche in Hollywood as a “hipster” so she could get away with having zero fashion sense.

She’s going to disappear in a few months anyway-this movie will die at the box office and she’ll probably write a few episodes of Gossip Girl or something and then Hollywood will have used her up.

I’ve never had strong feelings either way about Diablo Cody, I thought she was a bit of an intellectual hipster who took a wrong turn at a titty bar– but working with Megan Fox, really?
