I highly doubt this is true. I think everyone in the film industry doesn’t want Lohan, at all. Maybe, just maybe, the perfect role will come along, but I think Mean Girls was it. The end… until Lohan takes some serious acting lessons and most importantly, grows up.

p.s. Those neon colored nails she sports sometimes–EGH! Some(few)times she looks good, but other times she looks like a washed up 90s chick (including those ridiculous belly shirts). Also, what is up with her carrying a Coca-Cola all of the time? Is it some sort of signal to coke dealers? She should drink some tea or juice, and seriously, get an acting coach, please.

BlueSkies, I disagree. She took the guest spot on Ugly Betty because it WAS a profile-raiser. Ugly Betty was, at this time last year, one of the most popular shows on television; it is right up there with 30 Rock in terms of getting big name guests. Especially as it was a guest role and not a recurring character, I can see how she thought that would help with her career… I’d love to believe she turned down the Hangover because she didn’t want to play a stripper, but I really don’t think she has that kind of integrity.

I feel bad for her. She’d had a ton of potential at one point and is talented. But unfortunately her mother’s love for celebrity (among other things) rubbed off on her and now we have the wasted, cracked out mess you see today. what a waste.

I’m glad that she wasn’t in the movie. I thought that The Hangover was hilarious and she would have ruined some of the scenes just being her. I thought that Heather was perfect. She was age-appropriate for the role and likeable – Lindsay isn’t!
