Anyway, moving right along re:chivalry is sexist?
-with the exception of don’t assume to order for me, i’m ok with all of these. Bring it, i’ll also reciprocate for the most part. It’s not sexist, it’s give and take / human compassion /etc.
In fact, like a couple of commenters on there, I do this with friends, and have had friends reciprocate. We also sometimes do the “call to let me know you got home ok” thing.
I once was dropped off in a taxi after receiving, shall we say, something “special” in my drink at a bar from the bartender, by a couple of partying friends, who went on to another party not realizing the state i was in, while I am lucky to have ever gotten inside the door they dropped me off at, safely in winter, because I couldn’t figure out the mass of keys they left me with.
They apologized profusely after the fact, but needless to say, i appreciate the “get in safe” routine nowadays. From anyone. Ya never know.

I remember a time when everyone liked Hayden. Now she’s engendered so much vitriol on the net that it’s a wonder she’s able to keep her short self upright with her hubris. Never gotten her appeal, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she goes the way of La Lohan.
