Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas’s spon-con wedding also got this week’s People cover

people priyanka

OH MY GOD. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas also gave their wedding “exclusive” to People Magazine, in addition to the deal they worked out with Vogue Magazine for a digital cover and exclusive photos. People Mag also got a series of exclusives, so I guess I shouldn’t be so shocked that Nick and Priyanka got a cover too. I was wondering just how many deals Priyanka and Nick made around their wedding, and it seems like they easily made hundreds of thousands of dollars from spon-con on social media and deals with various media outlets, brands and more. Nick’s bachelor party was sponsored by Elit vodka, and the Amazon wedding registry – which was published in People – came with a $100K donation to UNICEF. Other companies sponsoring Priyanka and Nick: Ralph Lauren, Longchamp, Tiffany, JBL Audio, Lime Bike (who made custom scooters for all of his groomsmen) and Malibu Rum. So if this People cover story seems especially tacky, that’s because it is.

When singer/actor Nick Jonas proposed to Indian superstar Priyanka Chopra this past summer, the two knew their wedding had to be a meld of their cultures, religions and families.

“Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day,” Chopra, 36, tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s cover story. “But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be.”

The singer, 26, suggested they dream big and opt for not one, but two ceremonies in India to celebrate their different backgrounds. “It melted my heart,” adds the Quantico actress. “Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special.”

On Dec. 1, the day after Chopra and Jonas held a Mehendi ceremony, where they were both adorned with henna tattoos, and a Sangeet that night in which both families performed elaborate musical numbers with choreography and costumes, the bride and groom were married in a Western ceremony on the palace’s lawn. As a string quartet played, Chopra, wearing a hand-beaded and embroidered Ralph Lauren gown with a stunning 75-foot long veil, was escorted down the aisle by her mother Madhu (her father Ashok died of cancer in 2013).

“It was all tears. All tears,” says the actress, who carried a bouquet of hyacinths and tuberoses designed by Jenya Flowers (NYC), which created the floral arrangements for the entire wedding party. “I could not hold it in. I think I was nervous and scared. But as soon as the curtains opened, and I saw his face it was just like everything settled and I knew I was making the best decision of my life.”

[From People]

I don’t really have anything to say. As someone who liked them separately, I’m really disappointed in how they did all of this. It makes me wonder… what companies will sponsor their divorce? Legal Zoom? Lawyers.com? Will Ralph Lauren design exclusive lewks for Priyanka to get pap’d coming in and out of the courthouse?

Sorry, I can’t take this couple seriously.

    • Clare says:

Right? This roll out is so fing extra and try hard…I used to quite like her but have gone right off. Like, calm down, relax.

    • SK says:

Dude… I just looked on Instagram and you all have to immediately go and watch the video of her arriving at the western ceremony!!! Holy sh*t it is amazing! Her train is bigger than any actual princess ever. FIVE people helped carry it! It is INSANE! They also seem to each have about 20 groomsmen/ bridesmaids. Soooo entertaining! That’s a whole lot of ego right there!

Anyhoo, congrats to them! Their Hindu ceremony outfits were glorious.

    • Mira Belle says:

I see zero heat between the two of them in every picture. Seems odd.

    • Bella Bella says:

She looks like his mother. I can’t get past that.

    • teehee says:

I felt bad coming here to comment, and then saw this……. and realize I am not the only one feeling this way.
I am just burnt by so many divorces, that I think, well the bigger they are, the harder they fall—- this is going to eb “yet another spectacular, overly expensive wedding that ends in divorce”.

I guess statistically speaking its not unrealistic, but this really seems all the more risque…..

  2. LORENA says:

Her white dress is beautiful! Very unique… thats all

  3. Dee says:

In every picture, she always looks like a grown up lady next to a little boy. Is there a huge age difference between them? Or is he just really juvenile-looking?

  4. CairinaCat says:

    Beautiful clothes
    Fake couple

  5. Snazzy says:

Ok I know it’s tacky but at the same time I love the show of mixing the cultures and respecting each others’ backgrounds, even if it is superficial. In this current age of intolerance and hate, it’s important to be seen by the masses. So good on them for that

    • Kk2 says:

Agree. Seeing an Indian wedding featured in US People makes me very happy. And the clothes are great. Sheer wedding dresses aren’t really my thing but hers is maybe the best sheer one I’ve seen. And her lehenga is really lovely- love that she went for a solid color in that perfect deep red.

We get like 2 posts a day with boring royal fashion so I’m not mad about this. Those greedy jerks and their $100,000 UNICEF donation…. I guess? I think the vitriol is really disproportionate to the crime here. It wouldn’t surprise me if some of the Vogue/people money was donated too. She has plenty of money already and does a lot of philanthropy. But even if it wasn’t, it’s business. For a celeb business and personal overlap more than a normal person. I don’t fault any actors for trying to control or capitalize on their publicity.

      • MarcelMarcel says:

Seeing a Hindu wedding celebrated like this makes me happy too!

She looks gorgeous and I love seeing her outfits. I especially think she looks beautiful in red.

I’m happy to enjoy the fashion and take the wedding at face value.

      • Lilly (with the double-L) says:

I love seeing another culture’s traditions showing up in mainstream magazines. The dresses and the dance are so lovely to me. I know a lot more than i did previously about Indian weddings, which look like a true celebration. They appear very happy, best wishes.

      • M says:

It does sound like they made a lot of money personally as well. Like I wouldn’t do that even if famous, because if I ever decide to get married I honestly think I would be miserable all day in any kind of big ceremony (“every girl wants to be a princess on her wedding day” = objectively not true Priyanka, I’m not shy at all but I would haaaaate that kind of attention from such a large group unless I’m giving a presentation or something).

But in a hypothetical world where I was already going to be gathering hundreds of people to stare at me in person, and where I’m already famous so there will be however many gajillion more getting the details later, and someone was like “I’ll foot part of your outrageous wedding bill if you tell them your XYZ product came from me”…. yeah, sure? Like why not? This business wasn’t going to be understated and subtle in any scenario, might as well get paid.

Do agree that it’s wonderful to see both traditions showcased. I’ve been to quite a few weddings that were geared to meld two cultures and it’s very sweet and symbolic.

      • geekychick says:

I agree. It’s thousand times more fun, looking at this and commenting on this-no matter how fake they are, than endless stream of royal posts. If it’s not Melania and Trump, it’s British royals. As a non-American, I find those posts really boring. These two at least donate, why should I be so outraged by them?

    • Otaku fairy... says:

I especially like the first picture.

    • someone says:

I just don’t think this is PR or fake. They invited some of their closest friends and family. Priyanka invited the Ambanis, the richest man in Asia. You don’t invite him and his family to something fake… Just not done.

  6. Rose says:

Those wedding looks though! She looks so damn pretty . They look odd together though because he really does look like he could be her teenage son .

  7. Levin says:

I would never go so far as to assume their love isn’t real, but I just feel very dry when I look at them. Like, I get no vibes at all. Her dresses are amazing, though.

    • Suzy Schettler says:

I just watched the video of them dancing and the kisses they share are barely kisses. Zero chemistry. Doesn’t feel real to me. Feels like they are both trying to boost their careers and it’s a set up for publicity

  8. Aims says:

I think the whole thing is ridiculous. However, hearing about the never ending press and sponsors is so tacky to me. It’s obnoxious in the same way how people gush or over share on social media.

This reaffirms my decision that elopement is the way to go.

  9. Tiffany says:

    Wow….the reactions I am reading…. to a wedding.

    • ZGB says:

If you’re referring to the reaction on this site, then I’m with you on this. if not then…

people are excited, companies sponsored their wedding? Why is this a bad thing? Why? Is sponsorship a shocking thing? I thought that’s what most celebs do re: wedding dresses and locations( like hotels and resorts)? This two are just obvious about it. You want them to be subtle, it’s clear at this point that they won’t be. Let them enjoy the extravaganza, fake or not. I. Don’t. Get. It.

      • DS9 says:

We’re supposed to get every last detail for free, doncha know?

I’m in love with all of this, but mostly the beauty and awe of a “foriegn” wedding with all it’s traditions played out for American media and beyond.

    • Erinn says:

Yeah I don’t get it. I found the lead up to it kind of thirsty, but it doesn’t really bother me if that makes sense? I can only imagine the guests all had a ball – the couple look like they had a fun time doing exactly what they wanted and that makes me happy.

And the whole thing looks really pretty. I might not care about this specific couple very much, but I always like to see wedding pictures.

    • someone says:

Exactly. So many ways/excuses people are making to hide their misogyny or bias..they don’t look good together or no heat is really fancy way of saying older, indian woman doesn’t look good with younger, white man.

  10. Lightpurple says:

That red on red print is gorgeous as a wedding gown but a giant fail as a White House Christmas tree.

    • Mel M says:

The red dress is breathtaking on her, i could look at it all day. I like it more then the white.

ETA: I’m watching Sesame Street with my kids and look up and it’s Nick freakin Jonas singing about shapes. HES EVERYWHERE LOL!

  11. Lolly says:

They are not the first couple to be this extra though. I’m not sure why everyone is going so hard on them, either it’s the mix of cultures or the age difference (since the woman is older). I like them, most celebrity couples are tacky *shrugs*. Her dresses are beautiful.

    • KP says:

yeah… it really doesn’t bother me or seem out of the realm of normal celebrity behavior

      • me says:

I mean Kim Kardashian did it when she married Humphries. She made so much money off that wedding. What I think Nick and Priyanka should be concerned about is the over-exposure aspect of it all. Their careers are going good but this could cause people to really get sick of them…and fast.

  12. Malificent says:

You’d think Nick could have at least shaved off the peach fuzz for his wedding. I don’t have a problem with beards — but his patchy facial hair just looks sloppy and ungroomed, and makes him look like he’s 16.

  13. Scarlett says:

I am half Indian and am terribly confused by the whole thing.

IF they had the mehendi and sangeet, and the wedding in the white dress that evening, where did her henna go? The lawn wedding happened the day after they were adorned with henna tattoos, so why does her picture in the dress, why do her hands have no henna on them??

Then she has the wedding in the Indian outfit and the henna is back? Granted I don’t apply henna a lot but it is not a temporary sticker tat, you stick on and remove at whim lol.

    • me says:

I think the Christian wedding was done first, then the mehndi and then the sangeet. I could be wrong though.

      • Kk2 says:

That is weird. And good eye because I didn’t notice it. Mehndi last at least a week even if you’re trying to scrub it off. Mine lasted on the back of my hands for like 2 weeks. Could be that the order was different that what the press reports suggested. Or maybe they did bridal mehndi after the mehndi party and the western wedding (but I think there was a photo of her actual getting mehndi put on? Not sure). Could be that they did a photo shoot in the Western wedding clothes before the actual wedding… That would be my guess. Would also explain how fast the photo editorial was ready. It’s also possible they photoshopped it out for some reason but I don’t know why they’d do that.

    • Sv says:

If you look at the mehendi ceremony pics they posted for the ceremony they didn’t do any henna on the back of her hands on Friday so you would only see it with the dress on the palms of her hands for the Christian ceremony on Saturday. Then she had the henna completed for the Hindu ceremony on Sunday.

      • KK2 says:

Ohhh that makes sense. I knew I saw a pic of her at the mehendi actually having the henna done, but it was on the inside and you can’t see the inside of her hands in any of the pics. Thanks for solving that for me!

  14. Pandy says:

I side eye ANYONE spending all that $$$ for a wedding ceremony. And sponsorship – for a couple with their $$ – is BEYOND tacky. Yes will be interesting to see the divorce sponsors. You know it’s coming.

  15. Clare says:

If y’all are into the Indian wedding vibe, check out photos from Deepika Podukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding – they’re insanely beautiful and the clothes are literal pieces of traditional magic.

    • ZGB says:

Oh my God, I didn’t know Deepika was married and to Ranveer too!

    • Aren says:

My god, they’re both so beautiful!
As I was looking at the pics, I saw one of a girl called Anushka, and the beauty of her wedding look (the one with lots of roses) is completely out of this world.

  16. me says:

No sorry Priyanka, not “every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day”. In fact, some don’t dream about getting married at all ! I heard on Access Hollywood, they sold the rights to their wedding pics for $2.5 million ! They made money off this wedding. I am happy for them. I really have a lot of respect for Nick’s family for embracing Priyanka’s culture and religion. Some families wouldn’t unfortunately.

    • kris says:

You could see from the rollout that they sold the rights to the exclusives. They both posted the same (5) pics two days ago. I didn’t have an impression of her prior, but now she seems thirsty and annoying. She’s going to be even worse if/when she gets knocked up. I bet her baby shower will be overdone and sponsored by Amazon just like Khloe Kardashian.

    • Wilma says:

Came here to say that. I had a cheap and quick wedding because marriage was the fastest way for us to arrange certain legal things before my husband had major surgery. None of my friends are married to their longtime partners.
I don’t really know either of them, but I do wish them a happy marriage.

    • Lady D says:

The wedding(s) probably cost them $2.5 million.

    • Mash says:

RIGHT…. i was like uhhhhh Priyanka nah girl das just YOU…lol

i for one just want to feel like i linked with my life partner legitly, and if having a wedding was the prereq for getting married ID NEVER marry lol

  17. MeghanNotMarkle says:

Their wedding looks are amazing but yeah… I just can’t with these two. This whole thing is tacky as hell.

  18. Usedtobe says:

    The thirst is unreal.
    The photos are lovely.
I’m sure they are really wonderful people but yeah there is something too random about them to take them seriously. But who knows, maybe they’ll surprise us all and go the distance.

  19. ZGB says:

So.many bitter peeps. I’m sorry but that’s how it looks to me. You’re exhausted by it all, yet you keep clicking and commenting on every article. If there wasn’t an audience for this ‘tackiness’ then they wouldn’t make that much money or get this so called attention y’all claim their happy to get. Be happy and move on. No one is forcing anybody. Peace

  20. Gigi says:

    I love the dresses

  21. Boxy Lady says:

She alone has more than 31 million Instagram followers. I don’t know how many followers Nick has but it wasn’t terribly long ago that the Jonas Brothers were huge. Plus he’s had his own solo success in music and movies. Obviously, the numbers spoke to all those sponsors, so Priyanka and Nick went for it. They were able to control the narrative and publicity of their wedding while also making some money from it. I’m not gonna hate on it.

  22. Amelie says:

I love the Indian wedding dress. The western wedding dress not so much, it just looks like she’s wearing a very sheer sweater on top of the actual dress with the millions of buttons down the front. As a couple I’ll never be able to take them seriously, he looks like a high school/college student tagging along with his professor. I wish them all the happiness until their inevitable divorce.

    • me says:

Divorce? I think she’ll be pregnant before the end of the year !

      • Amelie says:

I could see them trying for kids. But they will divorce. Maybe not right away, they might last as long as Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore (about 5 years). Priyanka sort of reminds me of Kaley Cuoco with how she is being super extra about this relationship and wedding. Kaley also was all over the place with that tennis player ex-husband of hers and got engaged after only 3 months of dating, got married after that (so total of dating for 6 months). And that blew up in her face. Of course if they together forever more power to them! But I don’t think that will be the case.

    • Wilma says:

Yeah, that red dress is breathtakingly beautiful!

  23. Other Renee says:

I’ve never seen a more distant and unemotional groom. I think he got railroaded into a fast wedding.

    • Sv says:

I think people may need to shift perspective. George Clooney can sell wedding pictures to People and Vogue and peddle his vodka, but these two aren’t allowed? People seem to have this need to minimize their celebrity when they have 50 million instagram followers combined. Maybe they are unaware of just how big a deal Priyanka is on a global level. They are having a reception in Dehli so the Prime Minister of India can attend and congratulation them personally. And Priyanka has over the last few years put an emphasis on educating America about Indian culture. She just put an Indian bride and wedding on the cover of people magazine. More than that especially given the current climate with Nick’s help has what was considered a model American Evangelical Christian family with purity rings and all compelting submitting themselves to Hindu rituals and Indian culture in a publication like People.

      • Lexilla says:

People didn’t like George Clooney doing it either.

      • me says:

Why would Priyanka want Narendra Modi there? That’s like inviting Trump to your wedding ! He is one of the most hated PM’s India has ever had !

      • Chaine says:

@me give them time, they’ve only had 18 wedding celebrations so far this week, I’m sure that they’ll eventually invite Trump to one of them…

      • Tracy May says:

‘And Priyanka has over the last few years put an emphasis on educating America about Indian culture.’

The average American could not care less.

      • someone says:

@tracy may, the average american might not care, but the average american kid of indian heritage cares. We care that being Hindu and Indian is normalized. Do you know how much bullying indian kids have to face? For eating different foods, for looking different, for smelling different (curry you know?), for everything.

So, sorry if you don’t think it’s worth your time and this is over the top, but priyanka herself faced bullying in the US growing up, and I’m glad this is so over the top and everywhere..

      • Mash says:

I think the different is that George was legit so fking surprised that he found a woman of substance (a international lawyer) who partied as hard and was low/highkey thirst as he was and who he could actually chase….amal on the other hand via her speech and tons of interview was equally surprised that she found a carefree, older, non-intimidated, chaser who lauded her every chance he got and indulged her whim of pregnancy… the chemistry tho thirsty is there they are for each other and protective of each other. Where as this coupling seems like idkkkk

best bet is to go the Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassy route when those rumors of zero chemistry and fakery are loud AF….they just married and moved to Lisbon Portugual… Priyanka and Nick just move to like Arizona or Brooklyn and what not and just chill and learn each other more and stfu for a while.

    • Erinn says:

Honest to god, I think that’s just his face.

  24. Shh says:

She’s mentioned she wants kids since most of her friends are in that stage of their lives. Neither of her outfits are outstanding but she looks pretty.

  25. lamaga says:

This seems fine. Like you wouldn’t sell your wedding pics for millions if you could. And not saying that the thirst is cool but just… context. The world is pretty sh*tty so I’m fine with this rollout.

  26. Ck says:

I’m really not bothered. Why? They’re getting paid/paying for their wedding by brands that they would have been using anyway. Hell, if Yellowtail wants to sponsor my Monday “The Voice” viewings, Ill gladly continue drinking it. They were probably going to post pictures of their wedding online and they would have shown up in People magazine whether they wanted them to or not anyway. So why not get paid? The scooters are a bit excessive, but that seems like something a Jonas brother would do.

  27. Fluffy Princess says:

Her white wedding dress is so sheer. Am I seeing like big granny panties through that?

The red dress is spectacular, but I think the white one is tacky and again, too sheer.

  28. SpillDatT says:

OK bad things first: I can’t with this couple. They don’t seem like they will last. Yes, I know shocking a Bollywood/Hollywood marriage that won’t last is not a prediction most would make…

Anyway absolutely dislike her white gown, it looks flimsy & cheap,I find it hard to believe it’s designed by Ralph Lauren? It’s so tacky with that dumb long veil.

At least the Sabyasachi lehenga was gorgeous, even if not Sabyasachi’s best creation. His designs for Deepika & Ranveer’s wedding were far superior.

But I put it down to what the bride wanted, and her choices are just showgirl tacky.

The sponsorship thing: celebs & insta-crazy ppl do this all the time. Some play it more discreetly, some are more more open. It’s the norm now for every fame wh*re person & couple everywhere on social media. Personally I wouldn’t do it for my wedding esp. given their combined wealth, but then again they would have stuff thrown at them so why not make a few extra bucks on it? Having said that, I don’t know how much money Nick has actually put away in safe investments & she may be popular enough, but she isn’t the biggest name in entertainment. Because in the business they are in, it’s hard to predict how quickly your earnings can drop. So probably wiser for them money-wise to get everything paid for than to dip into their own piggy banks.

Good thing: I do like seeing a mixed couples, since I’m desi and married to a good old Canadian boy myself. I like that Nick’s family seems to have embraced all the desi rituals with enthusiasm given the fact that they do come from a very Christian upbringing. That is def. good to see. And if this fake, over the top wedding actually helps people embrace mixed religious, mixed race/culture couples than hey it’s not that bad at all.

But I wish they’d go away for a long while. And I’d rather drool over Ranveer & Deepika’s wedding more than this one anyday LOL

    • KK2 says:

The dress that Deepika wore for the “second mumbai reception” actually reminds me a lot of the fabric of Priyanka’s lehenga here. It’s the same deep red with some kind of sequin or pattern- I can’t tell the detail of either dress that well from the pics. Was that Sabyasachi as well? I LOVE the white/cream one Deepika wore to the first mumbai reception. That one is gorgeous. I can’t find full length photos of what she wore for the actual wedding ceremony though, just her head!

      • SpillDatT says:

For their wedding in Italy – the actual stuff, they wore only Sabyasachi, before and after landing back in India as well. Like head to toe.

For the white & gold they went matching Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla.

And then for the 3rd & final one, she wore Zuhair Murad dress with a detachable train, I think Ranveer wore Gandhi & Khanna tux for it.

But they’ve been serving lewks while Priyanka & Nick seem 2nd tier by comparison. But then there’s sizzling hot chemistry between Deepika & Ranveer.

  29. Mandy says:

I think they are a hot couple, haters be damned!

    • me says:

There is A LOT of backlash against Priyanka in India right now. She advocates for clean air and pleaded for Indians not to use firecrackers for Diwali and other Indian celebrations. But guess who had a massive fireworks display at her wedding? Priyanka did. How does she explain that one?

  30. Annebarbs says:

They both have three movies out next year. He’s always been more of a singer. Seems like a business arrangement. Gossip isn’t always correct, but they claimed the Jonas dad is behind it and thinks getting married will help both of their careers with the publ.icity. Interesting!

  31. KidV says:

I’m not sure I like her white dress, but it looks amazing on her. She wears it well. The red dress is gorgeous! I’d be looking for excuses to wear that every chance I had.

I really know nothing about these two, mostly from what I read here. They seem so mismatched, but who knows, they may have more in common than most couples. Good luck and best wishes to them.

  32. Meg says:

I also saw that there was backlash against her having fireworks at her wedding when previously she posted against fireworks for their negative effect on the environment, those with asthma, etc.
Wow I wasn’t aware of all the sponsorships. Usually when celebs are very public about something so personal they make it very public ‘we’re doing this for the donation to charity’ like Angelina and brad did selling pics of their kids or George Clooney did with his wedding pics. I’m not naive enough to think Clooney marrying a barrister didn’t help his career but they tried anyway to show we’re not selling our personal lives this is for a good cause-they haven’t sold baby pics.
maybe sponsored weddings are the new thing? Jennifer Anniston faked a marriage for press so maybe this is the just the world we live in now? a reality show star is in the white house so…I guess

  33. Case says:

The over-the-top publicity for all of this is cringey to me because it feels like it was all done for onlookers, not for themselves. Wedding videos up right after they get married, exclusive photos in People the next day? I’m not opposed to celebrities seeking publicity — it’s their job. But to take something that should be very personal and publicize every detail of it seems wrong. It’s not that they’re sharing parts of the wedding that bothers me — it’s that they’re sharing ALL OF IT. It doesn’t feel like it was a wedding for them and their loved ones, but for public consumption. It’s tacky.

  34. Justjj says:

I don’t understand the loathing for them. They’re crossing cultural lines and kicking all kinds of norms to the curb. So what if their wedding was sponsored and publicized? Weddings are expensive, even if you’re not an international star. Wouldn’t you get an unforgettable, glamorous, luxury wedding for yourself and your whole family for free if you could? If I could have saved the 50k on my modest wedding, with a guest list of 120 people, I absolutely would have. If I could have gotten paid to advertise? Ok, that’s tacky, but dang, they’re famous. People are going to ask for every detail anyway and ask them to sell every picture. Why wouldn’t they control the media coverage from the beginning? Maybe it’s for PR, whatever. They look happy and in love. I LOVE that there is a 10 year age difference with the woman being older, MORE brides like MM and Priyanka please. Let’s end the damaging narrative that women 35+ aren’t desirable, sexy, established, marriageable, and beautiful. Annnnd I love the Hindu/Christian thing, so gorgeous. I don’t get the hate. Let them have their slightly tacky PR wedding and stop joking about their divorce. For all we know, another ceremony happened privately that isn’t being sold out to People or sponsored. Just let them enjoy it.

  35. Aaa says:

Vanity Fair did a good research piece on the sponsorships since people have been complaining about the sponsorships, although most of that was amplified by his fans trying to do anything to avoid accepting reality so they latch on to and promote any conspiracy theory. Vanity Fair concluded they weren’t doing anything out of the norm. And the photos are their own thing, but if media organizations around the world are going to cover the wedding anyway why wouldn’t you take the rumored $2.5 million along with the world class photographers and videographers that come with it for your wedding?

Can someone please ask Priyanka why she invited Modi and felt honored by his presence at her reception? For those unaware Modi is India’s Prime Minister and he has been presiding over policies that end up in Muslims being Lynched by mobs.

Priyanka plays the diversity card very well here in the US making the right noises about racism, bigotry etc but back home she is busy ass licking Modi who is one of the most right wing politician there is.

They may be obnoxious and extra etc but is. It really fair to question someone’s love or attraction for each other based on photos? Sure she is a vuluptious grown woman and he is a younger boy who looks young. We wouldn’t be saying a thing if the roles were reversed. They invited THEIR ENTIRE FAMILIES and friends to a multiple day multiple wedding event. Surely they would not have done that if it was fake. I don’t doubt they got paid, and it’s tacky af. But does that mean they don’t care for each other? Some people are just not the smoldering type (Joe) and come off awkward. Let’s wish them well and be joyful for a change, there is plenty of horrible news to gripe about.
