46-year-old Lisa Rinna had the audacity to wear a bikini on the beach this past weekend, and the internet is absolutely aghast. Or, as Fame put it, “Lisa shows off her aging body in a Hollywood bikini while splashing around in the waves.” Yes, not her body. Her aging body. How dare she let her body grow older! It’s a sign of laziness is what it is.
Luckily a few sites have a better perspective on Lisa’s body. Radar noted, “We have to hand it to her, Lisa Rinna is in amazing shape. The 46 year old looks fabulous in her bikini at the beach in Malibu,” while LimeLife gave suggestions about what you can do to look as great as Lisa.
Have you had a chance to see Lisa Rinna on the beach so far this summer? I knew her abs were good, but I was in no way prepared for her string bikini surprise! How does she do it?
Fitness magazine currently has a “Sexy Abs in 6 Weeks” promo with a free newsletter that comes out every week with ab-focused exercises, flat-belly menu ideas, and tools and tips. I’m willing to sign up, because Lisa Rinna’s abs are as flat are they are hard, and many of us are a few (or more) years younger than this taut celeb.
It’s a little bit painful to look at pics of Lisa: almost too inspirational.

I didn’t like Lisa for a long time, mostly because of her lips. I know that’s unfair, but they were so bad that they actually made me angry. Then she wore a sandwich board on the side of Melrose Avenue saying “Honk 4 Lisa Rinna on the new Melrose Place,” and I sort of fell in love with her. Well, that’s not quite it, but close. Come on – obvious publicity stunt or not, wearing a sandwich board means having the ability not to take yourself too seriously. It’s hard not to find that endearing. And Lisa does look absolutely amazing. If I ever look that good – at any age – I’d be thrilled. She should wear nothing but bikinis from now until Thanksgiving, just to show off.

People who are not famous do not understand that celebrities have paid trainer, chefs, nannies, spa appointments and great plastic surgeons that are there solely for the celebrity to stay in shape. So of course they should have amazing bodies, they are paid too or I should say the studio pays for it.
Sarah Michelle Gellar said that a while ago. That she is in good shape because she has a team of people who help her. Not because of genetics, but money.

look at that belly button area!!!! I’d rather have a bit of a belly than that disaster area…the rest of her looks pretty good, but the ab area….not gooood

Amazing is different. This is a plastic surgery disaster. Her midriff is almost Tara Reid-like! I know a lot of women this age or older who truly look amazing in a bikini and none of them have had plastic surgery to attain or maintain their bods. To me, this is really gross.
I do find it awful that she has been said to “show off her aging body”, I agree that this is a horrible way to put it. And sorry, but at 46, you don’t fall under the “aging” realm quite yet. Not more than a 20 year-old anyway. However, she *is* showing off a really messed up body. But that’s her prerogative and if she feels good about herself, well, let her. -
Meh you don’t really need a team of trainers to look “good”. I have my bicycle, yoga matt, some barbells and some workout DVDS, and thats more than enough to get you in shape.

Never mind her belly, which is more than admirable, by the way, look at her thighs…they’re amazing, and she’s nearly 50!! Plastic surgery notwithstanding, what’s Tara Reid’s, Mischa Barton’s and Britney Spear’s excuse? This woman is old enough to be their mother, and she runs rings around them in the “in shape” department. Moreover, she was on holiday with her family and didn’t invite all the criticism, greedy, insensitive paps and gossipmongers to invade her privacy. But, kudos to her for living her life & not Giving A Sh*t what anybody thinks!!

I believe Helen Mirren has a fantastic body, we saw pictures some months ago of her in a swimsuit.
Lisa is eh, yes she looks good, but her abs and lips really creep me out.

I’ve forgiven Lisa Rinna for her awful lips ever since I heard her on the radio a few months back bemoaning the state of her mouth. I always thought she LIKED her overly plump lips and was delusional thinking they looked good, but it turns out she hated them from the get go, regrets ever having the surgery, but there’s not much she can do because her lips are pretty much ruined.
I liked that she came out and said, wow, that was a mistake, one I’ve got to live with, and it sucks. -
I’m with those who favor the one piece suit. It would have looked classy and she wouldn’t have GIVEN AWAY the fact that she got a botched tummy tuck. Wearing the bikini shows she’s not all there in the reality dept.

to me her abs don’t look like a “botched tummy tuck” they look like a normal woman’s who’s had TWO babies. That’s just stretched skin, plain and simple.
what I first thought was, wow, incredible definition in her arms and abs and legs and surprise that she doesn’t look cut up by a doctor.

Too many lipo dips and scars on the belly. Why don’t ladies like this wear a hot one piece that doesn’t show the surgery wear and tear? Ugh… Please gals, do NOT aspire this look. It is not flattering.

I have 2 kids and this is exactly what my tummy looks like, not fat but like a rasin!! I dont think its bad surgery, probably from the kids…and I wouldnt be caught dead in a bikini because of my tummy…neither should she

mother of two children as well. unfortunately, rinna’s stomach looks more or less like mine. pregnancy can stretch the thin skin over the belly, at least for some women. =(

Her arms and legs look good, but the rest is a mess.
I agree that she should wear a one-piece.
And maybe deflate her lips, too. Maybe she and Angelina could deflate their lips together.

I’m not a fan, but I think she’s beautiful. Her body looks great except for her abs, she can change that with exercise. Other than that, she looks hot!

It’s not that people are ragging on her for getting older - it’s just that if she’s gonna have the rest of her body altered, why not fix the stomach, too? Her face and body look like that of a 30 year old, but her stomach looks 60.
